Characters for volume 1

James - a troubled man in his late 20's that was summoned to another world during his latest attempt at his own life, but was saved by the quick actions of his summoners. He doesn't like talking about his past, presumably due to him not wanting to think about it himself. He seems quite amiable when talking, and likes to make jokes, even in tense situations in order to lighten the mood.

Henry - vice captain of the knight squad. He is actually the strongest on the squad, but hasn't been promoted to captain due to his inability to take a leadership role in the squad that he is in, something that his captain and commander both see that he has potential with.

Elise - a teenager that has a caring heart that thinks a bit too hard about things and doesn't yet understand other people that well. She seemingly has the ability to project sparkles in front of her eyes when she's excited about something, which is something that no one has mentioned to her yet for fear of the fae.
