[Arc 1]Chapter 6

It had been a whole week since Arno's encounter with the monster of Grimm, and his continual training over his [Semblance].

'From the looks of things, it seems like I can create almost anything as long as I have the knowledge and the [Aura].', Arno thought with a grin while heading to his assigned room.

When Arno entered his room he locked the door and sat down on the bed.

"Well then Ardis, time to bring you back.", Arno muttered as he opened a hologram with a swipe of the hand.

Arno then proceeded to press a few buttons, he then soon he pressed a button on his bracelet to eject a small round machine.

"How you feeling, Ardis?", Arno asked the small machine.

(I feel like utter shit, Young Master.), The artificial intelligence responded.

"Want me to fill you in?", Arno inquired.

(If you don't, I'll harass you.), Ardis responded to Arno.

"Good point. Well long story short, we got sent to another world or dimension or reality that's filled with apocalyptic monsters and people with superpowers.", Arno explained.

(..Seriously?)

"Seriously."

(Does this mean you have superpowers now?), When Arno heard this he gave a shit-eating grin.

(I'll take that as a yes.), Ardis sighed audibly and continued on (How much of a monster are you going to turn out to be with superpowers?)

"Hey! Mother was way~ more of a monster.", Arno protested.

(Your family is full of monsters to be precise.), Ardis responded to Arno's protest.

Arno laughed.

"True that, mother could take down a whole army with just a single wave of the hand.", Arno muttered as he started feeling downcasted.

(Yes but those disgusting people were even beyond me, even when I was the AI Ruler.)

"I know right~", Arno murmured audibly as he added on "Who the fuck actually uses a whole city of civilians as hostage?"

There was a moment of silence between the two.

"Well, I'm glad that I at least have one family member left.", Arno muttered with a smile as he looked at the blue eyed circular robot.

After that sentence Arno noticed something and he pulled out a scroll from his pocket.

(Oh? What's this?)

"It's this world's version of a bracelet, although it is inferior in almost every way.", Arno stated towards the the white-coloured orb.

(Hmph. I'll assimilate it, then.), The robot muttered with a hint of pride.

Ardis let out a wave of blue light towards the scroll.

(I've assimilated it. I've got to say, this '[Aura]' is truly fascinating.)

"You think so?", Arno titled his head "I personally find the Grimm more interesting."

(Indeed. However, they remind me of the SCPs that you erased.)

There was another moment of silence.

"Talking about erasion, can you erase or recreate some of the data that was lost?", Arno asked Ardis.

(I'll give it a try.) Ardis replied towards Arno as he sucked himself back into the bracelet.

"Now then...", Arno muttered as he looked towards his door.

"Mara, I didn't know you were a pervert.", Arno grinned as he saw her shadow underneath the door.

Mara opened his door and entered. Arno titled his eye, seeing that she somehkw unlocked a locked door.

"Who were you talking to?", She glared with suspicion.

Arno raised his bracelet and stated:

"I was talking to a friend, he should be back any minute now.", Arno replied with a calming smile as he patted a spot on his bed "Wanna talk?"

Mara sighed and sat near him.

"So?", She asked.

"So what?", Arno teased her while grinning.

Mara puffed her cheeks slightly.

"Who was that voice?", She inquired while staring directly into his eyes, as if trying to discern the truth.

Arno stared directly into her eyes while answering.

"He's an artificial intelligence that's been with my family for generations, a grandfather of sorts.", Arno replied.

"Artificial Intelligence, huh.", She muttered.

"Yeah, he's practically the only family member I have left.", When Arno muttered this he saw Mara looked slightly sad.

"Is that so?", She questioned.

"Yep.", He confirmed.

They waited for a few seconds until.

(Aight, I'm back. Oh, she decided to stop hiding?), Ardis replied slightly surprised.

"So, how did it go?", Arno asked.

(Welp, I was able to recreate some of the jumbled up data but I had to get rid of some. The 'important' stuff were damaged too.), Ardis responded with an emphasis on 'important'.

Arno nodded and opened his bracelet's hub, he then proceeded to press a few buttons then he turned to Ardis.

"Ardis, can you create me the weapon that I designed in the files I sent over? I give you permission to transform materials.", Arno asked Ardis.

There was a few moments of silence as the one eyed robot scanned the files.

(Ho? How interesting, I'll get to it as soon as possible, especially because you've finally given me the permission to transform materials.), Ardis said as he began to vanish into thin air.

"And be sure to be back tomorrow, I'll introduce you to Marielle family.", Arno stated before his vanishment.

(Roger.)

There was another moment of silence, and it looked like Mara had something to say.

"You can speak, you know?", He clarified for Mara.

"Umm... Is it normal to vanish into thin air for him?", When Mara asked this Arno had a sudden flash of realisation, as Arno was already used to his invisibility functions.

"Well, he is all-purpose afterall.", He clarified her with this one sentence.

There was a moment of silence, then Mara decided to head back to her bedroom.

"I'll see the both of you tomorrow. Good night.", She waved towards him.

"G'night.", Arno replied as he began to use his arms as cushions on his pillow.

Arno's last thought of the day was:

'Tomorrow's going to be an interesting day.'
