William is back in town. The first thing he did was return to his room and restore his mana. It's always good to be prepared. After his encounter with Garry, he was even more confident in his strength.
He had to be ready at all times, just in case someone stronger came out of him. He had never been in a bad or unfavourable situation before, but that didn't mean he would always be that way.
William was also one of those people who always wanted to be one step ahead of the others. The fact that his power was higher than theirs and that he was progressing step by step in this regard, always put him in an advantageous situation, thus reducing the risks.
Normally, William was not afraid of anyone, but this world was different. There were millions of ways to die that you couldn't even imagine, and William didn't want to be caught in one of them. With a quieter, simpler life, he just had to be strong enough not to die with his new discoveries.
