The park Hailee's pov

It was o

ne of these sunny afternoon and I decided to go grab some ice cream at the park. As usual the park was as crowed as it can be and you know being alone in a park makes you feel like you are literally alone in this world, well actually that was how I felt at the moment.

"What can I get you" the ice cream vendor pulled me out of my train of thought.

"Can I get a vanilla flavoured ice cream please"

"Yeah sure"

After I got the ice cream I sat on a bench at the park to share my loneliness with my self

It was such a beautiful sight, looking at a whole family at the park. It was more like everybody had a partner over here, which was one of the reasons why I came to the park, who knows I might encounter with someone.

"Hi" I heard a voice by my side, I wished I didn't turn to look at the person because all I could think was "how can a human being be this good looking, with his oceans eyes and those perfect jawline and those pink lips".

What in the name of the Lord is wrong with me, I inwardly scolded my self

"Hi" I said back and quickly stared back at my ice cream.

"Can I....can I sit by you" he hesitated

"Mm-mh" I replied not trusting my voice

There was a thick tension between us that you could easily cut through with a knife and mahn why was my heart beating so fast and so fucking loud. I think I need to go for a check up, it's been a while since I went to the hospital, that's probably why.

"That's my favorite" he said pointing to the ice cream.

"Yeah me too" I said trying to hold the conversation.

"Anyway I'm Jayden Scott but you can call me Jay" he finally introduced himself.

" I'm Hailee Ziegler but you can me Hailee"

Suddenly there was this grin on his face and noticing a little dimples on his cheeks, now I was totally dumbfounded. Did this guy do something to me or what? Why is it that I loss my mind about everything he does. I have to get away from this guy before things become worse. I returned the smile and told him I gotta go. I stood up, headed to the exit, wanting to stay so badly but I had to get away from his side.
