"What the fuck!" Sawyer's heart ripped apart, his stomach turned forcing everything that dissolved in the past hour out of him. Sawyer escaped to the bathroom to let it out, locking the door behind him. His body didn't know how to react, throwing up, crying and extreme shaking. His mind trying to solve the murder case that happened in the room next to him.
His eyes tried to focus on the screen he desperately needed to focus on, the lights all blurred together. A couple deep breathes helped organise the screen that lay on his phone. His shaky hands stuttered on the screen attempting to dial the police.
"Sawyer, we need to talk, open the door." The voice itself sent Sawyer into a spiral. "n-no, leave me alone. I'm calling the police." Sawyer's finger hoovered over the button. "Open the fucking door." The sound of his body smashing against the door pushed Sawyer in the furthest corner.
"Look Sawyer, if you call the police, you're involved in this murder too." Sawyers mind tried to puzzle together the words that crawled under the door to him. "No, that's not how that works." Sawyer scratches his head. "Sawyer I would never hurt you, would you really want to hurt me." Sawyer stayed silent trying to ignore his heart. "I love you, please open the door" The words again calmed down Sawyer, like his brother didn't just get murdered 5 minutes ago. Sawyer slowly walked over to the door and unlocked it,leaving the rest for Hudson.
The door opens revealing the body that lay on the floor,Sawyer hit realisation once again, his panic threw him into the wall. Hudson ran to him and wrapped his arms around Sawyer attempting to calm him down. "Don't touch me" Sawyer wiggles out only to be dragged back and shut up by Hudson's soft lips. "Stop" Sawyer pushes him away. "You're a murderer" All Hudson did was look at Sawyer confused.
"What's happening?" Hudson questions his location, the body caught his attention. "what the fuck?" Hudson flies to the wall Sawyer was leaning on. "It happened again didn't it?" Sawyer dared to finally ask. "What happened again, what is happening right now?"
"This has happened twice before, a character shift. The first cafe we went, you just froze and stared at me. The morning at yours you snapped at me. what kind of mind fucking are you up to Hudson" Sawyers fear transformed into anger. "I don't know what you're talking about Sawyer"
"You did this Hudson, this is all your fault" Sawyers heart shattered again,he wasn't prepared for his own horror story. He fell into Hudson's chest hitting against it draining all the anger out. "I did this?" Hudson hit his breaking point. His hands making his face black and blue. "I'm going to jail forever oh my god" Sawyer had to stop his breakdown, fearing where this fear and anger would push Hudson.
"No you're not, because i'm going to help you hide the body" Silence fills up the room. "what?!" Hudson's tears held themselves back. "I believe something is really wrong with you, but I can't send you for jail. You're very convincing so if this is your way to get me to forgive me you're so fucked up." Hudson seemed relieved but still confused. "And we will never see each other ever again, am I clear?" Hudson just nods while trying to pull himself together.
"We need to think of a plan" Sawyer had no idea why he was helping him, all he knew is he had a gut feeling too and he's learned the hard way to always follow it. "I have one" Hudson stares at the cabinet in the corner of his living room. Sawyers mind wonders to all the possibilities could be, he didn't even nearly predict his plan.
"We don't look suspicious unless you make us look suspicious." Hudson repeatedly reminded Sawyer. "Hold my hand, we have to look like a couple." Sawyers hand nervously brushed Hudson's giving him permission to make contact. They found themselves nervously waiting at the front desk of a 2-star hotel. Sawyers hand in Hudson's left hand and a suitcase with Ross curled up inside in his right.
"Hey,room for two?" Hudson smile played the innocent card convincing the middle aged, minimum waged man everything was normal. "Two single beds or one double" Hudson and Sawyer just looked at each other. "Two single ple-" "One double" The man confusingly eyed them up noticing they were holding hands and putting the two together. "Cute" Was the blunt response clearly ending the conversation while handing over the key card.
"I just don't understand why we have to stay here, why don't we just" Sawyer cautiously looks around while lowering is voice. "Dump him in a river or something" The long narrow hallway stood before them, pale, lifeless yellow walls surrounded them leaking the smell of dampness."Look, if the body ever gets found we have an alibi, this place is too cheap too afford cameras so we're safe and I've got an safe place to put him. Please trust me?" Sawyer couldn't see how that was quite possible after the night they just had. Just as things seemed to be going smooth the first bump in the road made both the hearts to Hudson and Sawyer drop.
The carpet that was poorly placed down grabbed the wheels to the suitcase causing it too slip out of Hudson's hand. The force of the heavy case hitting the ground popped open the case revealing Ross's corpse. "Fuck" Hudson quickly slams the case shut trying the fix the zipper. Sawyer couldn't help but stand there helplessly, panicking to himself. To make matters worse a door in the distance opened giving them company. Hudson couldn't do anything but sit on the suitcase. Suspicious lay all over the women's face. "I always pack way to many outfits" Sawyer nervously laughs it off hoping the women would buy his lie. She did.
After the hallway was empty, Hudson carried on fixing the zip. The body was secure and they crept into the lift. Finally they reached the top floor, Sawyer followed until a single door looked like it defeated Hudson. "We need to take the fire exit too the roof, but some fire doors trip alarms" Sawyers heart pumped nerves around his body. Hudson's hand grabbed the handle bar that made there next life decision, the door swung open and silence filled the dull hallway. They both smiled in relief.
The city noise mumbled around them, a Small wall wrapped around the top of the building. Two big water tanks attracted Hudson. "You can't be serious?" "Just help me lift him in." He unzipped the suitcase and attempted to pull Ross out. Sawyer hated the idea but he knew backing out was not an option. Sawyer climbed the rusty ladder, attached to the tank by thin, old nails. Unscrewing the lid to the tank. "Hold the back of him while I lift him in." "I can't do it Hudson, it's my brother" Hudson grabs his face. "You have to Sawyer." Sawyer supports the legs of Ross while Hudson climbs the fragile ladder, the weight of both him and Ross out power the ladder which crumbles underneath them. Collapsing backwards, Sawyer couldn't handle the weight either. Both of them fly into the tiny wall stopping them from death. The wall however didn't stop Ross. His dead body flew over the edge, falling down to the busy road beneath them. "Shit."
