Chapter 1: Returning after four years

"The new actress would be arriving soon, I wonder what she'd look like."

At the dressing room, the artists who were not busy with work gossiped.

"I heard she had been working for an entertainment as an actress for a while, but she's not really famous, she only took mini roles and a few TV commercials," one lady said.

"She'd be someone without an affluent sponsor."

"People without sponsor in this industry would find it difficult to climb to the top, no wonder I don't really know her."

"I just hope it's not someone who would be covered up in scandals, those type creeps me out."

"Another Eva George in this company is the least I want."

"We'd surely see her today," the lady turned her wrist and looked at her watch. "She'd be here any minute from now."

Reporters arrived in groups, they were super ready to interview the new actress. They had only heard little things about her, and most of them rarely knew who she was.

Soon, a lady arrived in the company's car. She was dressed in blue panel gown, silver heels and jewelries. Her long hair was neatly combed, and hung loose around her shoulders. She had a very beautiful face that left people gasping.

The reporters quickly rushed to her.

"She's the new actress, OMG, she's so beautiful."

"Stunning."

"Gorgeous."

"Oh mah goodness! Her beauty is bewitching."

"Can you tell us your name?"

"Your name please."

"Why do you want to join this company?"

"Do you have any reasons for changing companies?"

"Is there...?"

The questions continued with camera lights flashing around.

The lady heaved a sigh as she walked to the front of the company. Being her first day, the CEO had arranged few bodyguards for her and they managed to shield her from the media.

"Please can you give us some answers?"

"Say something please."

The reporters continued.

A man walked infront of the reporters, looking very professional.

"Please, you have to ask your questions one at a time and give the new actress a chance to speak," The man who happened to be the CEO said.

The reporters turned their attention to the lady who was now standing infront of them.

"Your name please."

The lady drew in a long breath and took the mic.

"Good day everyone, I'm Olivia Dan, the new actress of Radiant World," she said.

"Why do you want to join this company?"

"Well, Radiant World is a very good company and I believe I'd be able to take my acting career to the next level through this company," Olivia said.

"Do you have any reasons for changing companies?" Another reporter asked.

"My reasons are personal," she replied, a set of dazzling angel white teeth gleamed as she smiled.

"Miss Olivia Dan, you are really beautiful," a female reporter said.

"Thanks so much, you look really pretty too," she replied.

Olivia was really happy on the inside. Even though her palms were sweaty, she was delighted. She felt partly fulfilled and hoped things would work out well. She had come to Radiant World for different purposes. First, to take her career to the next level and secondly, because of someone...Amelia.

The questions continued for a while, and after thirty minutes of answering questions, the CEO ended the interview.

"That would be all, Thanks." He said and the bodyguards escorted Olivia inside the company.

The reporters had disappointment written on all their faces.

"Please, we'd ask just three more," one of them said.

"Save all questions for later." The CEO said and walked inside the company.
