Herro threw a glance towards Kira and smiled at her excitedly, and said, "Do you think I'll back out from this hellish training you said? HAHAHAHA! I am ready to challenge this hellish training of yours!"

Kira couldn't restrain herself from laughing after hearing what Herro had said. "I am hoping that your determination and excitement won't waver after we finish running."

Kira stretches her body and started to warm up by doing some jogs in place. Herro followed her suit and also stretched his body.

Herro could hear loud cracks coming from his joints as he stretched his body. Herro felt his body a lot lighter than before.

After stretching, Kira and Herro walked out of the Military Base. Both of them are now standing in the middle of the road.

There are no zombies in the vicinity because this place was the territory of the Mutants.

And if zombies saw Herro and Kira in the future, they will instinctively flee and run away from them because of fear.

"As I said, our first training will be running. We need to build up our stamina by training our bodies so we could last longer in battle while using our full power." Kira explained to Herro before they started their training.

Although Herro heard it a few times, he was still attentively listening to Kira's explanation.

"So, we will run from here towards the forest, which is Fifty kilometers away from here. We will just run straight, and we don't have to take any turns. But, we will need to jump some buildings that were blocking our way." Kira pointed the road up ahead.

With Herro's enhanced vision, he was able to see things farther than what he did before.

"There were indeed buildings that were blocking our path." Herro agreed with what Kira had said.

Then he realized something after a couple of seconds. "Fifty Kilometers away?!" Herro was shocked when he heard this.

Herro was shocked about how long their course is. Back when he was still in his correct timeline and when he was still a biker. It will take around six hours to complete it, and it was full of stops and rests.

So when he realized that the running course that he and Kira will take is fifty kilometers long, he couldn't help but jump in surprise.

Kira shook her head while looking at the surprised Herro and said, "Do you think we are still the normal and generic humans you knew? We are already considered superhumans! And we have a physique that is as strong as a mutant, so fifty kilometers is enough for us to build up our stamina."

After Kira's thorough explanation, Herro agreed with her. She was indeed right. Both of them are not any normal humans he used to know. And as a biker, he knew that to build up your stamina, it's either you train every day constantly or to train viciously while surpassing your limits.

And for him, training while surpassing your limits will have a faster effect. 'I see. This is why Kira said this training would be hellish.'

Herro sighed in resignation and said, "Fine, fine, I agree with you."

Kira smiled when she heard his response.

Then, Kira paused momentarily and thinking about something. Herro just let her be and try to look and scan his surroundings. 'There really are no zombies around here.' He said in his thoughts.

"Hmmm, just running is really boring. So why not we add something to make this training a little bit exciting?" Kira suddenly asked Herro.

Herro pondered it for some seconds and what Kira had said is really agreeable.

"Have you thought about something?" Herro asked her.

Kira smiled and excitedly said, "The one who reaches the forest will be the winner. And the loser will do one thing that the winner will say. Anything!"

Herro frowned after hearing Kira's suggestion.

"Are you using this contest to run away from that thing you said to me before?" Herro asked Kira with his eyes squinted with a constipated look on his face.

Kira frowned. She couldn't get what Herro is saying. "Runaway from what?"

Herro smiled and said, "You said that you'd let me taste the heaven here on earth?"

When Kira heard what Herro had said, She blushed out of embarrassment. Her ears are reddish and feeling hot, and also her face.

"I-i am not r-running away from it!" Kira embarrassingly retaliated.

Herro laughed at Kira's reaction.

Kira looked away from him angrily and said, "Let's start!"

Then Kira started to run towards the forest, leaving Herro behind. Herro was shocked when she did this and shouted, "WAIT!" But Kira didn't even look back at him and started and solely focusing her attention on running.

Herro was at a loss for words. He wanted to protest, but Kira was already ahead of him so far. Although his shout will be able to reach her but doing that thing will only delay him.

'I couldn't lose this game!' He said to himself. Then he started to speed up, trying to catch up to her. But in his estimation, he won't be able to catch up to her. Their speed was on par with each other, and the only chance he had to overtake her on this race is when Kira was injured or distracted.

He was not an inhumane person to wish for others' demise over a single trivial thing, so he was thinking of a way to distract her and use that opportunity to overtake her.

His body was running and also his brain, trying to find a thing that will distract Kira and make her stops even for a couple of seconds.

Then as Herro was running, he suddenly remembered the kiss that Kira had given him. He blushed while thinking about it, but he felt bad that she was just using him at that time.

Then, Herro came up with a brilliant idea. 'Be prepared little girl. The first place will be mine soon.'

Herro continues to run while waiting for the perfect chance to execute his plan. The first hurdle in their race finally appeared. A building that was around a hundred meters tall or a 30 story building was blocking their path.

Herro was quite nervous because this will slow him down since he was unfamiliar with the terrain and structures within their course. But then he remembered that Kira was way up ahead of him, and he just needs to follow her steps.

Being left behind is not bad at all. That's what he said after he realized that he could use Kira as a guide. While Kira is slowing down from the obstacles, Herro will be able to avoid things better than Kira.

Kira didn't jump over the building, but instead, she jumped towards the 20th floor of the building and entered it. Herro smiled and followed her towards the 20th floor.

Kira dashed and used her body to break the walls in order for her to pass through. These actions really slow her a lot. Herro was just running at his full speed because Kira had already become the trailblazer for him.

Kira and Herro easily passed through the building. Herro was able to shorten their gap. Herro was elated by this result.

Herro and Kira landed successfully from jumping off the 20th floor. This shows that their physique was indeed strong that they were able to land without suffering any major damages.

After they landed, Herro took the opportunity to execute his plan.

"KIRA! YOUR KISS WAS SO GOOD EVEN THOUGH IT WAS YOUR FIRST TIME!"

Kira was bound to hear Herro's shout since their distance was not that far, and when she heard it, she blushed for a second time and stopped in her tracks. She turned around and shouted back at Herro. "IT WAS NOT MY FIRST TIME!"

But right after she finished her shout, she realized that Herro had already passed her.

She felt her blood boiled in anger because she felt that she was scammed. She couldn't help but shout at Herro again, "SCAMMER!"

Herro shouted back at her and said, "You cheated first! You started to run without any warning or whatsoever, so you deserve that! Hahaha!"

Kira wanted to punch Herro in the face by this time. She started to run back again, heading to the forest.

Herro chuckled after his plan succeeded. He was now three hundred meters ahead of Kira.

Kira gritted her teeth in anger because of how Herro duped her. And he duped her with something embarrassing.

The distance between Herro and Kira was still the same. This made Kira feel restless and frustrated. She was confident that she would win in this competition because she was a lot more familiar with the terrain and the structures of the buildings here compared to Herro.

She also started a couple of seconds ahead of Herro, and she was familiar with the terrain here, and yet she was the one lagging behind.

Kira just gritted her teeth and continued to chase Herro angrily.
