53. The Silent Witch (6)

Lex ran as fast as he can like there's fire burning his butt, he quickly made his way to the Tenth Area

"!!?" he stopped when stepped inside the Tenth Area

(the Silent World!) the moment Lex stepped inside the Tenth Area all voice disappear, it was the same as the first time he came into this place

As Lex knew how the Silent World expanding and shrinking according to the Silent Witch mood Lex knew that She's in bad mood, at the same time it convinced Lex (Damn! she must had heard it!) Lex thought

Without wasting anymore time Lex went into the Silent Witch Home.

(….) Lex didn't know how to react to what he saw, The Silent Witch sat on her place like usual, like there's nothing special happened, like this is just one another day for her

Lex slowly walk his way toward her by this point he knew he can feel there's some distance between them unlike usual, even its looks like there's nothing special changes on the outside

Lex hesitated for a while, he didn't know would he be able to fix this, it was true that their relationship at least from Lex side, it started with Lex's sinister plan which he explained to Max and Cleos, to make her get used to him being by her side, and using that to make her accept himself as her disciple to learn the Instantaneous Movement 'Blink'

(it was true! At first that's what I planned but not anymore… at least in the middle I stopped my plan it feels comfortable being here reading books with a cup of tea with you enjoying our relaxing time together, that's why I no longer asks you to become my Master…)

(but how do I explain this…) Lex was in trouble, at first he only wanted to brag to Cleos and Max to make a small joke, before trying to explain it to them how much he liked to be with her the Silent Witch, that it wasn't some kind of plan or had any kind of ulterior motive, that it was a pure happy time for him, but he didn't expect that the Silent Witch would be there, in the past one year this is the first time he saw the Silent Witch went out of the Tenth Area except Crimson Eagle official day like when the ten high executive introduced in the Preparation Class

(arghhh!! I don't know anymore! I will tell her everything!!) as Lex decided so, he started to write his explanation on the white board…

Only to be stopped by a greenish blue text "Sit" a simple text…

Lex stared at her when he saw the text yet the Silent Witch like she didn't recognized his existence at all, she still reading her books calmly

Lex can only obey and sat on his sear which is right in front of her with a small table between them

It was only a few seconds but to Lex it almost like a few hours has passed before The Silent Witch turned to Lex, for the first time they stared at each other after the incident

(!!?) Lex bewildered the way she looks at him back to the one year ago, a hollow look, she staring but at the same she didn't, it's like Lex's existence assimilated with his background in her eyes

"don't come again" the next letter shook Lex to his core, he quickly wrote his reply in his white board

"master! I can explain!" Lex tried to make her listen to him but no avail

"I know how tenacious you are, that's why I gave you a chance" when Lex read these letter Lex stared right into her the Silent Witch eyes, at this point Lex understood no matter how he does it, she won't listen to him anymore, if there's a chance for him to fix this misunderstanding that is the chance she was talking about

Lex didn't want it but he got no choice left, *suuu *haaa he took a deep breath to prepare for the worst "okay…" he replied

"a match between me and you"

"Match?" Lex stunned for a while before he replied he didn't expect this at all

"that's right, I won't move I won't attack I will only counter your move or restrain you, if you can touch even a strain of her of me under the designated time, it would be your win" because of her past to the Silent Witch violence was the last point of every negotiation

Actually deep down Lex didn't feel good being underestimated, but he knows his priority the more she underestimated him the more chance he got, than he knows a bit about her nickname too "Monster" and "Calamity". He never saw The Silent Witch capability but it mustn't be low Lex know his place…

"is any kind of attack allowed as long as I can touch you?" Lex replied

"yes… any kind, if you win I will grant you one wish, any kind of wish you wanted from me like being your master, and if you lose I need you to stay away from me at least two years of time"

"Master…. Do we really need to do this..." Lex asked but this time he never got his reply, the Silent Witch just silently stare at him "haa…" he sighed "alright… but I need time"

"how much?"

"at least two weeks"

"ok, the match will be appointed two weeks from now"

"yes" with that the match has been decided Lex stood up slowly and gloomily step away from her

"…." The Silent Witch watched his slowly fading back ('is this sadness? Is this loneliness?') she turned her attention to her own hand ('Again? Haa… I never learned what a dumb person…') then when she tried once again to switch her attention to her books a sweet aroma smelled by her ('??')

A cup of tea served beside her and a white board beside it with text written on it "your tea, Master"

She quickly looked up to see Lex there serving himself another cup of tea, she had an indescribable feeling looking at him "what are you doing here?"

"what are you talking about Master? Of course I'm here! the match is in two weeks, no? doesn't mean I can't be here now" Lex replied as he grinned evilly at her, she almost fallen down from her chair when she read his reply

"beside you got the best information for me to defeat you in two weeks I needed to do my research here, you won't sabotage me right?" he gave another evil grin his face fully shown the Silent Witch I've Won expression.

('…') she didn't know how to answer this shameless behavior of Lex "do whatever you want!" she replied

(I did it!) Lex thought happily while he can see her cheeks swelled up a bit, she's pouting trying her best to focus on her books, (haha, how cute!)

(but still there's so many things to do…)

With that decided for the next two weeks, he skipped his class on the morning and tried to finish as much Mission as he can to accumulate as much merit as he can

(I need as much Merit as I can, I do whatever it takes to win this match…)
