Preparing for an expedition is a joint work that a Familia does in the time leading up to the date set, however, the personal preparation is completely different from the first one.

The good thing was that I have a possible monster material farm. According to the Xenos they occasionally drop some part of their body and as such I decided that I would give them gadgets to defend themselves in exchange for Drops Items.

Of course, I will not give them items that cause an imbalance in power such as magic swords or high-level weaponry. I will give them resources like food or some accessories to live well.

If someone saw what I do they would ask me why I help monsters, if over the years I have enmity with them because I am an adventurer, but what I would answer is that I like their companionship and helping them would give me some answers about Evilus.

"We caused you trouble too Hestia. Doing something like swindling money from you..."

"Well, what's done is done" a pigtailed Goddess, Hestia, stated gently "Be careful not to let this happen and take responsibility for everything Miach. You always help us by what we are at hand"

Naaza gritted her teeth and then with a sharp glare glared at her Deity.

"It's a debt problem" Miach spoke protectively to Naaza "Miss Riku, you remember about how my Familia was left, don't you?" Riku just nodded "We've been having trouble lately with finances. Your orders help us from time to time, but it's still not enough"

"That's right" Riku nodded noticing how Naaza placed her hand on her arm which was completely covered and gloved "Well, picking on me is not my thing with someone like you God Miach, but if it's a problem. What do you say?"

Hestia looked at Riku as the girl looked at her. Then Hestia sighed "As I mentioned Miach has helped us a lot in the past so we are even and the debt..."

"Fuuhahaha! Sorry for the intrusiooooon!"

A loud laugh echoed as the door was forced open.

All eyes looked at the source, however, only two individuals opened their eyes with annoyance, irritation, and other emotions not so friendly to some.

A Deity with the appearance of an old man with grayish hair and beard. With an unpleasant grimace and haughty expressions, he was wearing an extravagant costume with gold and silver embroidery.

Dian Cecht, Deity of the Dian Cecht Familia, and someone with whom Miach does not have a good friendly relationship. Behind Dian was a woman with silver hair, purple eyes and a calm expression waiting for her Deity, Dian.

"No matter how long you wait you didn't come" Dian said with disdain keeping his smile "So I took the trouble and got here. Be thankful poor things!"

The only individual who wasn't poor, Riku Cranel, frowned with annoyance at Dian. Riku wouldn't say it aloud, but Dian made good potions and elixirs, Riku just hated him for the excessive price at which they were sold.

Dian and Miach were not so different. As Gods their abilities were similar, but the availability of materials affected the outcome of both of them working. Miach could only obtain good potions when Riku gave him materials and placed an order.

Miach was kind and gave a good price compared to Dian who charged millions of valis for dozens of elixirs. The bad thing was that only the Dian Cecht Familia could create High Quality potions, elixirs, so they controlled much of the monopoly.

"So, did you prepare this month's payment, Miach~?"

"That's...!" Miach gritted his teeth in frustration.

"Fufu, no. Sure? Right?" Dian scoffed "Guhahahaha! You eternal deadbeats!"

Miach and Naaza could only grit their teeth. Every time Dian came to collect the monthly payment he teased them mercilessly.

"Sure..." Riku avoided snorting out loud as she watched Miach who looked uncomfortable. Riku then noticed her brother and Bell just smiled nervously with his supporter and Deity close behind him.

"So, Why don't you go to my clinics? You'll get the best services and items in the whole city"

"Yeah... I don't think so" Riku denied calmly "My Familia already buys you enough for a certain event happening in a few days. I just want normal potions at prices that are... stable to say the least"

Dian laughed without being offended at Riku's hint "Bwahahaha! You're a customer of many [Astrid]! Your materials always make my dear Airmid happy" Airmid behind Dian just nodded "Well, whatever. Keep up the good work in the dungeon and buy when you need"

"Sure" Riku replied calmly.

Riku respected people in a way, even if Dian is not always to Riku's liking she will respect the Deity, but if Dian does not show some kind of respect, then Riku has no reason to be respectful to Dian.

The same with others. Riku offers respect if it is given to her, even if it is a person or Deity that Riku dislikes.
