Chapter 49

"I forgot to mention I was going to monologue with him! I was too busy rechecking my cosplay to make sure it looked good. I hope he doesn't think I am an idiot for not fighting right away."

Blaze: All of us lost?! Dagmar it is up to you to kick that guys ass! If you lose we will be the first clique that he wiped!

Everyone started to send messages about fighting Lich to Dagmar, even the two people who weren't talking with anyone was talking to Dagmar. Dagmar was like the groups 'Mom' that took care of them all.

Dagmar: I will try my best guys, but you do know that..

'A person is finally here. They look a bit scary, they are probably strong.'

In front of Lich was Dagmar. They were holding a book that seem to hold a heavy power. The horns on their head seem to be more demonic then the Minotaur girl Lich fought before.

Dagmar's Paths were Blessing, Book, Enhance, Inventory, Van, Demon, Librarian, Library, Cow, and Milkman..... He was not a fighter.

"Lich, I only came here to ask you to be on friendly terms with my group. If they mess with you first I understand you beating them up to teach them a lesson. That is all."

Before the timer ran out, Dagmar forfeited and left Lich in a silent arena.

Dagmar: I tried, he was to strong for me. Everyone should focus less on our chat and hurry up and beat all the people needed to advance to E rank. You all better not lose, since if you lose that person becomes the new Champion of your element.

Everyone in the group chat started to focus on their fights. Then the next group was sent to fight Lich, and they were now cut off from not only the first group but the rest of the Champions as well.

As a new group challenges Lich, the first person who was sent up was a Friend Path, The Champion Of Spawning Fish Boss, or simply just Spawn Fish Boss, Leah.

Leah's Paths were Spawn Fish Boss, Fishing, Diving, Swimming, Trident, Sailor, Kraken, Leviathan, Merrow, and Ship.

Seeing Lich, Leah simply got to the point. "Whoever survives the boss longer wins".

She cast her fishing line into the arena and for some reason a small water puddle appeared where the it landed. The line was then tugged, and Leah pulled with all her might.

Suddenly a giant Kraken appeared in the arena and Lich received a notification.

[A Boss Has Appeared And Is Aggro To You. As You Haven't Proved Your Worth Of Being A Boss You Will Lose Control And Rampage.]

Lich's eyes glassed over and his body started to change. His spine started to realign and so did his limbs. He was now in a more natural quad-pedal form. His Gloves And Gun turned to liquid and went into his belt.

From Lich's Belt a Scorpion tail appeared. However it now had characteristics from his Gloves and Gun. The end of the Scorpion tail was more of a long cannon. Since his sized didn't change, the Kraken would still seem to be the more stronger enemy.

However Lich started to scream and the Scorpion tail started to fire. The tail fired in bursts of ten, ten times. Those one hundred shots also split into ten, for a total of one thousand shots. The shots themselves were enough to kill most people.

The shot had the spinning form of his punches along with the elements from the three different equipment's. As each shot hit and exploded they shot out Spiked Tendrils that grabbed what they could and dragged it into the shot. As the shot's began to imploded with a force, a thousand times stronger than each individual shot had.

Leah and the Kraken both stared with a blank face as they, along with the arena, were wiped away and destroyed.

[The Challenger Fights Will Be Paused Until The Arena Is Fixed And Upgraded. Thank You For Waiting.]

Luckily it took awhile for the arena to be fixed, as Lich was also out of commission for the time being. Leah's friends started to ask her what had happen. Gio, who was the Champion of Farming was terrified as he was the next person in line to fight Lich.

Gio: Hey Leah, what happened?! You are used to dodging the bosses you spawn, so how did the fight end so soon with the arena needing to be upgraded?

Leah: I don't know how to respond. After I summon the boss, Lich killed both of us. The boss wasn't even able to defend long enough before I died too.

The Champion Of Gardener, Dio also sent a message.

Dio: He killed the boss?!? How are we supposed to beat him? Our only two real fighters are you and Gluttony! And if you couldn't last long enough the rest of us don't have a chance at all!

Feeling that she was being looked down on, The Champion Of Butcher, Artemis also started to message in the group chat.

Artemis: Hey I am also a good fighter. I am a Butcher after all. Though I am also a bit terrified I still want to see if I can last a bit longer. He might of just been scared and unleashed everything he had. He might go easier on us and we can last longer and have something to hold over Leah's head.

Their other strong fighter also sent a message. She was Gluttony, who had a Friend Path, which was just like her name. Seven Deadly Sins Champion Of Gluttony. Though she would rather just go by Gluttony.

Gluttony: How did the boss smell when it died? Did he use Fire or Lightning to cook it? I bet it smelt great.

Leah:I didn't get to smell anything. I just got to die, I think my senses stopped working as I didn't feel any pain. So I didn't smell any thing, sorry.

As he knew the conversation was about to be derailed by the two idiots, The Champion Of Scavenger BoFang , who just goes by Bo, asked about Lich's powers.

Bo: How did he kill you? Do you have any hints for us? I tried to ask about Lich from the first group but all the messages I sent to them were denied.

Leah: I don't know.

Bo: ....

Before Bo could start cussing out Leah for being an idiot who only knows how to Fish, Jupiter came in and saved him from getting his ass kicked later. Jupiter was the Champion Of Teacher.

Jupiter: Life is full of lessons. We will just treat the matches from now on as a learning lesson. Since none of us but Gluttony has a chance to win. The rest of us should just take it as a chance to see how strong someone the same Rank as us can be.

The Champion Of Student, Pluto also chimed in.

Pluto: I thought that was just what you told me when you beat the shit out of me so I would listen. I didn't know you were fine learning by getting beat up.

Jupiter: I never said I was fine with it. But, if the wind can knock down a tree why should I, a sapling think of besting it.

The Champion of Candy Maker decided to chat in the group chat.

Candice: Wow Jupiter. You almost said something cool. But it is to short and doesn't sound cool. So you just said something uncool and short.

Jupiter: Candice can you do better? After all this time I have known you, this is the first time you didn't do a joke about fitting nuts

Candice: Why did you stop typing? Could you not fit all the words in your mouth like these nuts?

Jupiter: Sorry still not use to the system typing.

Jupiter: Oh you already said it.

Then the tenth person of their group, The Champion Of Dairy Maker sent a message.

Cal: Okay can we please just focus on the fight that is about to come up. Let's just keep to only talking about what needs to be done for the fight. Only send a message about what you see Lich do so we can try to come up with something.

Pluto: Aren't you just saying this since out of the ten of us you get to go last?

As Lich woke up, he saw that there was a system prompt to start the next match.

'Wow, this is more friendly then I thought. If I pass out and need a break, it will just pause. But why did I pass out again? I remember my enemy summoning something and now I am here.'

Lich started up the next match and his next challenger had a minute warning of the start of the match.

After the minute was up, someone who looked like a farm boy appeared. He was the Champion Of Farming Gio. His Paths were Farming, Scarecrow, Sickle, Slayer, Butcher, Tamer, Dog, Wall(Skill), Ninja, and Barn.
