Scathach's side.

Scathach walked through the portal and looked around, "...?" She stared blankly at what she was seeing. "Where am I...?" she questioned as she looked at the mountains of white in front of her.

[Umm... Well, I kinda disabled my omnipotence and stuff... I opened a portal to the World but forgot to specify where... You are in Antarctica,] Azu meekly replied, giving a bit of explanation. That was enough for Scathach to make connections. "So, where do I go from here...?" she questioned plainly, a little irritation mixed in her tone.

[...Go straight right from here. Your powers aren't suppressed, so you should be able to reach civilization in about 18 minutes. Also, some casual clothes.]

A blue cube appeared in front of Scathach and landed in her hands. Her skin-tight clothes changed in a flash.

She now wore a simple outfit, a sweater and a jacket that didn't really hide her figure but only added a little mystery to it.

[Winter just ended, but the place you're headed towards is still cold, so these will help you blend in. Your clothes will change according to the season, and they are half made out of solidified runes, so you can learn a thing or two.]

Azu advised, and Scathach nodded as she examined the clothes with extreme interest and curiosity.

Scathach stopped examining her clothes and looked at the sun rising.

She started to sprint in the opposite direction of the sun, going at her top speed while making no impact or leaving any trace of her footprints—not even a sound.

She zoomed through, left the continent, and directly started to fly above the sea. In a moment's notice, she was already inland.

[You were supposed to go in this direction, but it's fine either way. You are in Australia. Go straight to Japan; that's the place you are supposed to be in.]

Scathach nodded and disappeared instantly. After about 10 minutes, she was on Japan's shore. "Now what? I don't see anything worthwhile in this place."

[First, this world is connected to Yue's world. I could directly send you to Yue's world, but I can't guarantee which part of that universe you will appear in, so this is a safe option.

Second, put mana into your clothes. You are wearing winter clothes, and it's not that cold here; it would look weird.

Third, the moment you enter Yue's world, you will lose all your status and you will have to adapt to that world's power system... not that you can't dominate that while being level 1 with just pure skill...

And that's all I'm out! You will know what to do in about an hour, so tour the city and have a little fun!]

Azu said all that and left, leaving Scathach a little confused and annoyed at the situation at hand.

Scathach poured mana into her clothes, and they changed in a flash into a loose crop top and shorts

Scathach roamed around Japan, not really knowing what to do. She was currently walking on a street near a residential area.

Just a couple of steps ahead, there was a woman with short dark-brown hair and brown eyes, with a childish figure. "Excuse me, do you happen to know a place that gives a good view of the city?" Scathach asked, making the woman turn around in surprise.

The woman looked around, making sure Scathach was talking to her. "Yes, a good view of the city? Well, if you head straight down, there's a path right at the curve that leads to the mountain, and at the top, there's a viewing area," the woman directed politely as she pulled out her phone and showed the map.

"Thank you for the directions," Scathach thanked her and smiled, making the woman also smile.

"Ms., you are very fluent in Japanese, it's incredible," the woman complimented.

"Thank you. My name is Scathach. May I know yours?"

"My name is Aiko Hatayama. It's nice to meet you, Ms. Scathach. Sorry if I am wrong, but are you perhaps from Scotland? Sorry if I am being rude; your name just sounded familiar."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, and yes, I am from Scotland," Scathach confirmed as she walked forward, gesturing for Aiko to follow. "Let's chat while we walk. We are heading in the same direction from what I can tell."

Aiko nodded, and they started walking while chatting.

[Hmm, you probably figured it out, but I will put it out there just because I can.

There are gods from all mythologies present in this world, similar to yours but hidden very well with no trace. There are some Japanese gods watching you right now, and they don't want you to be here, but they won't interfere as long as you don't do anything.

If you want to go to Yue's world, stay with Aiko. She is a teacher at a school. Ask her for a school tour, and I will manage the rest.

But if you want to stay in this world and mess with the gods, you are free to. They are stronger than you but not to the point that you can't do anything to them.]

Azu gave out two options without any buildup, making Scathach pause for a second, but Aiko didn't notice. 'I will head to Yue's world. Yue did say she will return to see how things are in her world, so this isn't so bad,' she mentally replied as she caught up to Aiko.

After a bit of talking with Aiko, Scathach asked her question, "Hey, Aiko, is it possible to have a school tour? I would like to see the education system of Japan," she asked, making Aiko smile brightly.

"Sure, the school allows tourist visits, but it has to be scheduled. Is that alright?" Aiko asked, and Scathach nodded. "We have a special class in the evening, so it is likely that you will be able to tour the school today," Aiko added, making Scathach nod gratefully.

In the school,

Things went smoothly. The school director agreed for Scathach to tour, and Aiko became her guide. Both of them headed to the class Aiko had to teach today.

Aiko explained the rules and the basics while showing her around. Scathach initially did not have much interest, but that changed as she sensed a strong magical force above the school.

"We are a bit early to class, but since the introduction needs to be made, it should be fine. The students are troublesome, but they are good and well-behaved," Aiko spoke, catching Scathach's attention back.

They walked toward a classroom. Some students were outside, but upon seeing them, they entered the class.

Aiko and Scathach entered the class, and the students scrambled to take their seats. "Class, this Ms. here is Scathach. She is from Scotland, and she is here to have a look at our education system," Aiko announced as she looked at the class, which was silent.

The boys stared at Scathach with blushes, while the girls looked in awe. Aiko helplessly smiled. She was about to speak, but then a magic circle appeared below them, and lightning started to crackle.

And in the next moment, the world changed.

Scathach looked around, ignoring the panicked students. Her eyes fell on a painting. The painting was of a man with wings.
