Chapter 249: Market day with Ah Qi

That night, even if Ah Qi was there, Bai Yi Yang and her family routine didn't change much. She and Bai Yi Chen did homework together then she went to write the research paper a bit. That's when Zhang Yong suddenly called.

"I can't make it again today, sorry." He said. He actually mentioned about coming to Qinfang Village for a while with Mr.Feng but Mr.Feng came alone today when he was picking up the dried mushrooms.

"No problem, I was busy the whole day too." Bai Yi Yang answer awkwardly, one hand is scrolling through the completed writing. When she pick up the phone call, Ah Qi who was watching cartoons with the kids look at Bai Yi Yang with deathly stare, how can she keep calm?

"I wanted to come but I am too busy, too many works. My family are also facing some problems not long ago, it just pass by and now I have too much work again." Zhang Yong complain like how he used to.

"Err..a lot of work means it's good, isn't it?" Bai Yi Yang laugh, her glances goes to Ah Qi once in a while. Even though Ah Qi is still watching TV, he doesn't seems to be in great mood.

"How can it be good. Yi Yang, when are you coming over to City Nan again? I wanted to hang out with you." Zhang Yong said.

"City Nan? I won't be able to, final exams and so on." Bai Yi Yang said.

'Hey, hey, Host. Can't you be quick? I can't stand your boyfriend's darkening aura.' TongTong said. Each second that pass, Ah Qi smile is becoming more scary.

"Wanna watch movie?" Bai Yi Yang sat next to Ah Qi and take the remote control. This is asking for his opinion, he must be bored watching cartoons with the children.

"Why? We can continue watching cartoons and you can continue to talk with..your 'friend'." Dongfang Qi Ze emphasised the word friend.

"Don't be like that. Let's watch some comedy movie okay." Bai Yi Yang smile sweetly at Ah Qi, then she wink at him.

"Fine." Its not like Dongfang Qi Ze can say no to her, so just let her be happy bah. Then, they all ended up watching 2 movies, in the middle of the second movie, the children has fallen asleep. Bai Yi Chen send them to sleep in the room and continue to watch movie with Bai Yi Yang and Ah Qi.

"You are not sleepy?" Bai Yi Yang ask Ah Qi. He had work today then he even travel far here, he should be tired.

"No. I usually sleep at 1.00 am to 2.00 am then woke up early. I don't sleep a lot." Dongfang Qi Ze answer.

"Really? I can't do that, I like to sleep. You must also start to eat and sleep well, how can I be assured if you don't do that." Bai Yi Yang said in low voice, Bai Yi Chen is focus watching the movie so he didn't hear them talk.

"I will do that. I am eating breakfast everyday thanks to you." Dongfang Qi Ze smile. Bai Yi Yang gave him a lot of food, he only like eating that. Most of the time he will eat salad.

"Ah, the food I gave you? If you like it I can make more, when you return you can eat rice with eat. What do you usually eat then?" Bai Yi Yang ask again, the movie doesn't even interest them anymore.

"Salad with some protein. I just drink coffee for breakfast." Dongfang Qi Ze answer. He have this one restaurant where his assistant often bought food for him. He usually don't have much interest in food before, he rarely eat rice because he just don't like restaurants food in general, he got to try different dishes during family dinner and that also wasn't like how he is now.

Here, Dongfang Qi Ze can eat up to 3 bowls of rice with many dishes at each meal. When Bai Yi Yang gave him all the frozen food, his apostles at home also increase. Bai Yi Yang basically just gave him things that he can heat up, steam, pop in the oven or just grill on the pan with some oil. If he pair it up with some salad and rice, it became a complete meal. That's how he have been eating this whole week. The changes is quite apparent, the assistant even hired a skilled aunt to do the cooking.

"That's not good. This won't do, tomorrow I will do the shopping. I will make a lot of side dishes and frozen food for you." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Ge, tomorrow I will do the shopping." Bai Yi Yang said to Bai Yi Chen.

"You sure?" Bai Yi Chen ask.

"En. I will bring Yang Yang tomorrow." Dongfang Qi Ze is the one who answer.

"Okay. Fine with me." Bai Yi Chen said.

While watching the movie, Bai Yi Yang chat a lot with Ah Qi. Only when the movie ended did they returned to their own room to sleep. It was already 12.35 am when they return to their room.

Bai Yi Yang woke up the next day and quickly get ready. She wore a white short pants and a beige colour crop top, her hair is pulled into a ponytail and she tie a twilly scarf that goes well with her outfit. Lastly, she wore a white sneakers and a simple sling bag.

"Ready?" Dongfang Qi Ze also wore a lot of white, their outfits actually match each other. He was waiting for Bai Yi Yang at the living room.

"En." Bai Yi Yang nod and took Ah Qi hand as they walk out. The other is still sleeping, there is no one who will see them holding hands except for TongTong who was fed dog food early in the morning.

Dongfang Qi Ze who never open a door for anyone did it smoothly for Bai Yi Yang, of course things like this he just learned it after he start dating Bai Yi Yang. There are too many things that he learn from being with Bai Yi Yang in such a short time.

"Your car is nice." Bai Yi Yang said to Ah Qi when he sat at the driver seat.

"Really? Do you like this kind of car?" Dongfang Qi Ze ask as he help her wear the seatbelt naturally. He also adjusted the air conditioning so that Bai Yi Yang is comfortable with the temperature. If she like this kind of car then he should buy one too, this is actually his subordinate car that follow him around.

"I don't have any preference towards car, as long as it is comfortable. I like anything you like." Bai Yi Yang grinned and thank him. Ah Qi is so sweet, she like how considerate he is towards her, she like him even more.

Along the way, Bai Yi Yang will point at many things and tell Ah Qi about it, the trip that usually takes only 20-30 minutes become a 45 minutes trip. Dongfang Qi Ze's bodyguard who was following behind the car feels that this is the first time their young master ever drive this slow. They also need to slow down many times because they don't want to alarm the young master's little girlfriend. "Sorry young man, do you have smaller bills. I don't have enough change to give you." The pancakes seller said.

"Smaller bills?" Dongfang Qi Ze look confused, he is someone who rarely buy things by himself, even if he did he usually use card. He have only use banknotes a few times, this is one of the time which can be counted with one hand.

"Yes. 10 yuan or 20 yuan is okay." The pancake seller said.

"I don't have..I only have 100 yuan banknotes." Dongfang Qi Ze feels that he really had make himself a joke. Even if he have banknotes, he can't even pay for a 8 yuan snacks.

Bai Yi Yang also saw his wallet and there really are no other banknotes other than 100 yuan, what more there are a lot of it inside his wallet. She look at Ah Qi feeling dumbfounded, this man, is he being serious now? Bai Yi Yang can't help but laugh when she saw his flustered face.

"You must not used to coming to small market?" Bai Yi Yang ask and Ah Qi nod.

"I will pay. Later I will bring you to change the money into smaller one." She add again. Only after that did they move on, Bai Yi Yang cling onto his arm and try to coax him to feel better.

"It was also like this when I was out with Yi Chen, they don't accept my card, now they won't accept 100 yuan banknotes." Dongfang Qi Ze said to Bai Yi Yang, feeling that he is being played around whenever he came here.
