Chapter 212: Zhou Zhu Yao’s birthday and Old Cui couple arrived

They all arrived at the school at 3.13 pm. It was Mr.Ling who arrived first, followed by Teacher Ai about 10 minutes later. After taking pictures at school once again, they were allowed to return to class.

When Su Long and Bai Yi Yang arrived in class, their handsome music teacher is still in class, watching over the students practicing music on their own.

"Hello Teacher An." Bai Yi Yang and Su Long both greet the teacher. Bai Yi Yang hand over a small bag to him. This is also within Bai Yi Yang calculation so there is something for Teacher An too.

"Ah, thank you Student Bai Yi Yang and Student Su Long. Please take a seat." Teacher An smile charmingly.

"I have heard from your classmates, congratulations again." Teacher An said to two of them which they politely replied with a thank you. There weren't much time left so they only chat until the class ended.

Mr.Ling come after Teacher An left and he distribute the big bags of pastries.

"These are from your two classmates." Mr.Ling said. The students cheer and become very active congratulating them. Mr.Ling also doesn't mind them being a bit noisy for today.

After Bai Yi Chen took his phone, the twins left to go home. They also meet up with Zhang Ming Ming and Bai Yi Yang ended up stuffing some pastries into her bag in the bus.

When they arrived at the village, they immediately stayed back at Old Zhou house. They didn't directly go home today. So, when the people from G Supermarket came to deliver stuff, Bai Yi Chen followed them and returned back with them again.

"I have put the stuff inside the fridge first." Bai Yi Chen said when he returned. He said this so that Bai Yi Yang won't worry about the frozen goods.

Zhou Zhu Yao is also back now, together with Uncle Zhou and Uncle Zhou's young children, Zhou Yu Rang and Zhou Yu Pei. Zhou Zhu Yao bought two big buckets of KFC chicken and some other sides. There were a lot of food so Jiang Yu Zan family was also invited to come over in the end. It was just a simple birthday celebration, there are no cake only gathering to eat together.

"Because of this bakery, other bakery seems inferior now." Zhou Zhu Yao comment when Bai Yi Yang gave her the paper bag. She happily look at the contents and put it in the fridge.

"Aunt, can we look what's inside?" Zhou Yu Pei become very curious now. There are sweet fragrance too, must be delicious food.

"Not now, later." Zhou Zhu Yao said. The children immediately become disappointed.

After meal, everyone formed their own circle and chat with each other, the children went to play on their own at a corner and Bai Yi Yang followed Zhou Zhu Yao into her bedroom.

"What is this?" Zhou Zhu Yao look at the box of a branded shop on her bed.

"Ah, it has arrived." Bai Yi Yang said.

"You bought this?" Zhou Zhu Yao ask excitedly. She carefully open the box layer by layer and the sneaker she has been eyeing is inside there.

"Yeah." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Ah.. I love it so much. When did you prepare this? I will cherish this for a long time." Zhou Zhu Yao squealed happily as she tried it on and it fit her perfectly.

"En, as long as you like it jie." Bai Yi Yang said. They stay in the room to chat about Bai Yi Yang trips to City Nan and by 6.30 pm, the Bai siblings need to return, if not the road will be too dark.

When they arrived home, the small one went to take a bath and the twins went to arrange the stuff. They also chat while doing the work, Bai Yi Yang told Bai Yi Chen about her trips and the award ceremony. After that, Bai Yi Yang prepared some ingredients to make sandwiches. Maybe her siblings will be hungry since they eat early today. As expected, at 8.30 pm, the siblings had their supper since they are a bit hungry.

The weekdays passed by and while Bai Yi Yang was replanting the different type of berries in the greenhouse when a black car arrived in front of their house. Bai Yi Yang is not aware of this as she is inside the greenhouse, only when Bai Yi Fang ran over to tell her about it did she returned home.

It was the Old Cui couple. They arrived earlier than Bai Yi Yang thought. Now is only 2.45 pm. Bai Yi Yang wash her hand enter the house with Bai Yi Fang. She then saw the couple in the living room, there is another middle age man sitting there too, Bai Yi Chen seems to have invited them in.

"Grandpa Cui, Grandma Cui." Bai Yi Yang call over with a big smile.

"Ah, yatou. I heard you were in your greenhouse." Old man Cui said with a big laugh too.

"Yeah. Have you arrived long?" Bai Yi Yang still ask. Their drinks is not here yet, they must have just seated.

"No. Just arrived." Old man Cui said patting her when she sat next to them.

"Old master, now that I have send you over, then I won't stay any longer. If there is anything, just call me. My parents house is only two village away." The driver said.

"Good, good. Go ahead, we won't delay you." Old man Cui said.

"Uncle, stay over for a drink." Bai Yi Ling came in with a tray of refreshing drinks.

"Ah..that.." The driver uncle smile awkwardly.

"Finish the drink then go. The little girl has made it for you." Old man Cui laugh. The driver stayed back and even had a refill, only after that did he leave. He bring the car together since nobody will be driving it here.

The Bai siblings chat with the old couple while they had their drinks, after that Bai Yi Yang bring them to tour around the house before returning inside. It is still very hot now to walk around outside. They will go later around 4.00 pm.

"Grandpa, Grandma, you can use my room for the next two days. Xiao Ling has changed the beddings earlier this afternoon." Bai Yi Yang said as she bring their luggage into her room. Since the three of them still share their bed, it doesn't matter whether they will sleep at Bai Yi Ling bedroom or Bai Yi Fang bedroom.

"Good, good. We can even sleep in the living room." Old man Cui joke.

After sending the old couple to the bedroom, Bai Yi Yang went to the kitchen to take out some frozen seafood. She is making seafood boil later for dinner. The old couple also bought some fresh seafood ingredients, that will be perfect to be added later.

Then, Grandma Cui who have changed into comfortable clothes also enter the kitchen to look around, she is full of praise at their kitchen and how neat it is. Bai Yi Yang slice some newly picked fruits and let Grandma Cui taste it. When they returned to the living room bringing the sliced fruits, Old man Cui is watching comedy show with the kids and they were laughing here and there. Bai Yi Chen cannot be seen though, he must have gone somewhere.

"En, delicious." Old man Cui tried a piece and praise. Bai Yi Yang and Grandma Cui then joined watching TV until 4.00 pm, the show also ended.

"The sun is less strong, let's go out and walk around." Grandpa Cui is the first one who stood up.

"I think it's fine too." Bai Yi Yang agree. So, they turned off the TV and everyone went out. Bai Yi Yang bring them to the vegetables field first, they went over each types and Old man Cui can't help but wanted to pick some of the juicy looking vegetables. So, Bai Yi Mo run to the storage house and bring over some basket.

"Eldest yatou, what should we pick up?" Grandma Cui ask, she also become a bit excited.

"Vegetables for seafood boil. Ah right, can you two eat spicy food?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Not bad, this old man is even better at eating spicy food." Grandma Cui answer. Bai Yi Yang nod and told them that she will make it a bit spicy then.

So, they all pick up some vegetables and some for tomorrow morning too, for breakfast. After looking around the vegetables field, they briefly look inside the greenhouse which still doesn't have anything growing except for seedlings that hasn't been transplanted.

"What are you growing inside here?" Old man Cui look at the small sprout.

"Multiple type of berries, herbs and flowers. When you come again the next time, this place should be different." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Then, we will surely come again." Old man Cui said. After the greenhouse, Bai Yi Chen send the basket of vegetables into the house and they all slowly climb the mountain road to the orchard. Bai Yi Yang and her siblings is very considerate as they walk slowly.

When they arrived at the orchard, Second Zhou is tidying up to return home too. The orchard is very clean now, the weeds don't even have the chance to grow tall before they are cut. The old couple briefly exchange words with Second Zhou before continue walking around. Bai Yi Yang let them taste the fruits directly picked from trees, if not because of being stopped, Old man Cui really can't stop.

The old couple also saw some animals eating fruits on the ground, they doesn't seems to be disturbed by their presence, but the most amusing thing is that there are none who is on the trees, even the bird ate the fallen fruits on the ground. Bai Yi Yang didn't say anything and let them have their own thoughts.

Before going back, they also picked some fruits to be eaten at home later. Old man Cui is the one who can't stop, so he was the one who did most of the picking. Then, they head home.

In the kitchen, Bai Yi Yang and Grandma Cui start preparing dinner, from cleaning the seafood and cutting the vegetables. Bai Yi Yang also taught Grandma Cui her secret seafood boil recipe. As for Old man Cui, he was at the yard playing with the dogs and watching them tumbling around, after that he video call his grandchildren one by one, showing the place to them. The house was quite noisy that evening.

That night during dinner, the old couple finally understand why the other siblings keep praising their older sister's cooking. They never thought that they will eat that much at other people house. They had seafood boil before, at a famous restaurant at that but they never love seafood boil as much as today.

"I thought I cooked too much." Bai Yi Yang smile when the food on the table is cleared.

"Eldest yatou, how can it be too much? In another hour or so, I think I can sit for another meal." Old man Cui laugh aloud.

"Then, how about some Beef nachos with melted cheese for supper?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Good!" Old man Cui quickly agree. Bai Yi Yang only laugh, when her siblings ask, she immediately explain the food to them.

Bai Yi Chen clean up the kitchen after dinner while Bai Yi Yang and the couple had a chat in the kitchen while drinking some refreshments that Bai Yi Ling made, a mixed of fruits juice. After that, they all returned to the Main house and start washing up.

By 8.30 pm, everyone is gathered in the living room, Bai Yi Ling is as usual sitting with her book at the couch while the two small one is watching TV. Then, they all decided to watch a movie together and in the middle of the movie, Bai Yi Yang run to the kitchen to make their simple supper, she return quickly after that and they enjoyed another round of eating.

The movie ended at 11.25 pm. Since it is not early and the old couple is also quite tired today, they excuse themselves and start preparing to sleep. Bai Yi Yang and her siblings also didn't stay long outside and they also went to sleep before 12.00 midnight.
