Chapter 149: Interior design

Bai Yi Yang woke up at 6.30 am and start making breakfast. Their breakfast is omurice with soft runny omelette on top.

After finished frying the fried rice, Bai Yi Yang divided it into portion onto the plate. Then she make the sauce first, and lastly the soft omelette.

"Morning jie." Bai Yi Ling and Bai Yi Fang enter the kitchen together early in the morning and Bai Yi Ling is all ready with her school bag. It's just that Fang Fang still look a bit sleepy.

"Morning. Call your gege and Xiao Mo, the dish is almost ready." Bai Yi Yang said as she fry the last omelette. Bai Yi Fang sat at her seat and watch Bai Yi Yang bringing the fried rice onto the table.

"What are they called jie?" Bai Yi Fang was a bit amazed with the fat looking omelette on top of the fried rice, her sleepiness reduced by a lot.

"Omurice. Look carefully.." Bai Yi Yang said. She took a knife and divide the omelette into half and the slightly runny egg fall to the side.

"Woahh!" Bai Yi Fang cheer loudly. After that, Bai Yi Yang pour the gravy on top of it. This is all part of the performance so that people become much more looking forward to eat it.

"What is it?" Bai Yi Mo run to watch too.

"Look carefully." Bai Yi Fang said to her Xiao gege. Bai Yi Yang repeat the same process and Bai Yi Mo is also amazed.

'Looks delicious.' TongTong lick its mouth.

Bai Yi Yang repeat the same process for all plate and they finally started their breakfast.

"It's delicious and soft." Bai Yi Fang comment. The other also quite enjoy the breakfast.

Bai Yi Chen then rush to send Bai Yi Ling to the bus stop after that. She still need to go to her English tuition class. As for the two kids, Bai Yi Yang gave them two choice, whether they go play at the village or follow Bai Yi Chen to work at the vegetables farm.

"I want to follow gege today." Bai Yi Fang said.

"Then…I will also follow gege." Bai Yi Mo also said so. At first, he was going to go to the village, but he haven't helped much at home, so in the weekend he should help a bit.

"Okay. Then, it's decided." Bai Yi Yang said. Since people are going to work at their house today, the children cannot stay at home, they can only stay outside.

Ru Qing and her team arrived a few minutes after Bai Yi Chen brought the children to go to the orchard. They are going to watch the people picking fruits today, then go to the vegetables farm too. Bai Yi Yang didn't join them since she need to stay at home.

"Please come in." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Good, good. This is our furniture designer and maker, Mr.Louis, he will look at the furniture again and then make the additional changes. Mr.Louis, this is Miss Bai, our customer and also the person who made the furniture. I will leave you with her later." Ru Qing introduced the foreigner to Bai Yi Yang.

"Hello Miss Bai. My Chinese is not very good..but I can understand most of the things.." Mr.Louis said. He looks like someone in his late 30s.

"Then please feel free to use language that you are comfortable with." Bai Yi Yang said in English.

"English is my second language.." Mr.Louis awkwardly said. His Chinese is not good, English is also a bit poor, he fall back a big when it yo comes to the language part.

"France?" Bai Yi Yang guess from his English accent.

"Oui." Mr.Louis laugh awkwardly.

"I am fine with that too." Bai Yi Yang said in fluent French. This makes Mr.Louis taken aback, so does Ru Qing. She even know how to speak French?! Who is this Bai Yi Yang actually?

"I am glad that I can finally use my mother tongue." Mr.Louis is elated, French words come out of his mouth, making Ru Qing who is listening dizzy.

"Good, good. The two of you have a chat. Miss Bai, my staff will unload the stuff and we can start right away after that." Ru Qing said.

"En, of course. The house is a bit messy. I already put the furniture for each room together. Designer Ru Qing can proceed as you see fit." Bai Yi Yang said.

"En, Miss Bai rest assured." Ru Qing smile.

After that, Bai Yi Yang bring Mr.Louis to look at the finished furniture, starting with the one currently sitting outside at the central courtyard.

"Marvellous, marvellous. Miss Bai, these pieces looks like they are made by professional. I saw the pictures but I still cannot believe that I am seeing this." Mr.Louis come closer and look carefully each pieces and he cannot find a flaw.

"Rosewood?" He ask again.

"Yes. Traditional furniture are commonly made of rosewood." Bai Yi Yang said. Then she explain how she made the furniture, process method and so on. Mr.Louis was amazed and he listen to her as if she was his master.

They move from that to the kitchen, then to look at the various furniture in the living room and bedrooms that is being moved by the staff now.

"Be careful, be careful." Mr.Louis cannot help but remind the staff to handle them with care. After that, she followed Bai Yi Yang outside.

"I am convinced that your work is truly remarkable. I am ashamed to let you see me work, if you don't mind, can you go somewhere else?" Mr.Louis said. He is in charge of installing the cushions on the dinner table chairs and also the sofa at the chilling area in front of the TV, but now she feels timid letting Bai Yi Yang watch her.

"Alright, I will go inside and help Designer Ru Qing, you busy around." Bai Yi Yang smile at him and enter the Main house. Now, Ru Qing is still moving stuff from room to room, and some are removing the plastic wrappers of the items.

Ru Qing way of working is very systematic, she start with Bai Yi Ling bedroom. Since she already have a draft, it is not that hard to do things. Once a room is emptied, she will ask her staff to clean the floor again, then put on the brand new carpet on their place before bringing in the furniture at their places. After that, she ask her staff to bring in the new mattress, pillows and bolster, install the new curtain and then the bed covering.

There are specific people doing this and that job, the one that is carrying heavy things is a different team, then the one who is doing delicate work is another team. So, the work is done very fast. Lastly is the additional decorations, Ru Qing do it herself. After everything is in placed in where they are supposed to be, Bai Yi Ling room is finally completed. Ru Qing was giggling as she took pictures of all corners.

"I am so proud. Not bad right?" Ru Qing said.

"Very good." Bai Yi Yang approved. Bai Yi Ling bedroom is very minimalistic, with white and blue theme colour. This room looks entirely different now.

"Alright, let's move to your bedroom." Ru Qing smile. The people is already working on this bedroom, the carpet is laid on the floor and the staff is now installing the curtain an putting on the beddings.

Bai Yi Yang room is quite minimalistic too, but it looks more elegant and modern. She originally wanted a peach, cream and white theme, but Ru Qing suggested on more warm earthly tone colour added with cream and white theme. So, the result is like this. When Ru Qing add the final touch, Bai Yi Yang like it very much.

"You said you don't like many things on the floor of your room, so I didn't add much. Is this alright?" Ru Qing ask.

"En, I like it." Bai Yi Yang said. The platform bed that she put a few effort in making it look so beautiful, she almost wanted to praise her own work.

Bai Yi Fang room is a bit crowded, the colour is also much more brighter compared to the two previous room, Ru Qing goes all out designing a princess room for Bai Yi Fang. It has all the important elements of a princess theme room, lace curtains around the canopy bed, then the ruffles of the bed sheets and the other decorations. It was a total opposite of Bai Yi Ling room. There are also big plushies added in Bai Yi Ling reading corner, but in Bai Yi Fang bedroom it was another level.

After the Main house's bedrooms, they move to the East house's bedrooms. They start with Bai Yi Mo yellow, white and black theme bedroom. The boys bedroom is a bit smaller compared to the girls, but it is still very big. The double decker bed attracted the staff attention.

"Is there other twin in your family?" They ask. They know that Bai Yi Yang and Bai Yi Chen is a phoenix and dragon twin who are not identical.

"No. My little brother just wanted a bed like this. He is already planning to bring his friend for sleepover." Bai Yi Yang laugh a bit. The staff laugh at this and they started talking about their children as they work. Bai Yi Mo treasure box is also placed inside the room, it doesn't have anything in it for now, let Bai Yi Mo filled it by himself later.

The last room is Bai Yi Chen's grey, black and white tone. Ru Qing is aiming for masculine and luxurious feel for this bedroom. In each room, the materials used for their bedsheets is different, so it brings different feel to it, Bai Yi Chen bedsheets is made of satin, so it immediately change the feel of the bedroom.

"It matches my older brother's personality." Bai Yi Yang said.

"En, I think so too." Ru Qing agree. Like Bai Yi Yang's bedroom, Bai Yi Chen also doesn't have much things added, let him add what he wants later.

They all finally returned to the living room to continue with the things there. It is only 10.00 am and they are almost done, they can finish before 12.00 pm then.

Ru Qing start with the siblings chilling area in front of the television. Bai Yi Yang has added one more seat, especially made for TongTong, it is TongTong seat aka its official bed. Of course TongTong is forever welcomed to sleep on Bai Yi Yang's bed too.

"I search for this especially, they say this is comfortable for pets to sleep." Ru Qing pat on the cushions that Mr.Louis has installed at the special seat.

'TongTong, come and try it.' Bai Yi Yang called TongTong.

'Hurm..' TongTong follow as she said and lied on the bed.

'Ah..comfortable..' TongTong said as it roll around. The people who saw this squealed at its adorableness.

"My cat loves it." Bai Yi Yang smile. Even when they are busy moving around, TongTong didn't move and fall asleep on the custom made bed.

The custom made cushions is really comfortable. Bai Yi Yang try sitting on it and she like it very much. The carpet in the middle is also comfortable. She purposely didn't put table in the middle because this is the place where they siblings will lay around, instead, she add a small coffee table at the side to place things.

Ru Qing then proceed with the guest receiving area. The furniture made with traditional style is arranged neatly over a carpet then a custom made cushions are place on the seat, completing the look. Ru Qing feels satisfied with everything. She looks left and right and each corner is just like what she imagine. After a final touch at the kitchen, she took more pictures and ask her staff to clean up.

"Thank you so much for giving me this chance." Ru Qing said as they sit at the living room. Mr.Louis also joined them to enjoy the entirely transformed interior.

"You're welcome. You also did a very good job." Bai Yi Yang said.

"This is a great opportunity for me, I even made a name in my company." Ru Qing laugh. A project worth more than 100,000 yuan, who doesn't envy her?

"That's good, that's good. Then, why don't we settle the account now." Bai Yi Yang said.

Ru Qing show her the receipt. From the expenditure to the fee, she explained it one by one. People is spending money here, so she need to explain carefully. Bai Yi Yang has look through it last night and she doesn't have any problem with it. She immediately made the transfer and send the receipt to Ru Qing.

"En, it's done." Ru Qing nod with a big smile.

"It's late. We have to leave now and I need to report to my superior too." Ru Qing stood up with Mr.Louis.

"Yes. Please have a safe journey." Bai Yi Yang shake hand with them and send them out to the gate. She watch them leave before entering the house again with big smile.
