The upcoming day, the eight other member of the Tyron guild were taken aback by the lovely dovely actions of their two leaders. Walker's eyes almost walked out of their socket the moment he caught Miley's shy countenance when Tyron introduced their relationship status to the group.
'Damm. Who would have thought that one day, I will get to see the vice president acting her feminine side. This is truly absurd.'
Unlike Walker, whose expression was somewhat staggering, the others quickly revert to normal and offer their best wishes. Xue Yiran likewise offers her sincere congratulations to Miley.
The party head in the direction of the mission board to pick up their task for today. Several heads turned in their direction, but they paid no heed to it.
"Although, I've gotten quite used to their constant stare. But this time around, I think there's something off with the way they are staring at us. Point of correction, I think they are all staring at Miley." Milo who noticed this strange atmosphere spoke out.
"Possibly, they are also shocked to see both the president and the vice president clasping hands together." Ryker replied nonchalantly.
Xue Yiran didn't make any contribution to the ongoing conversation and moved along with them. After Tyron had chosen their mission for the day, the group strode out of the hall.
"Oh right." As if recalling something, Jose turned his head to Atlas and asked, "You mentioned in the group chat yesterday that the mercenary hall was attacked. What happened? Did some evil organization went up against the hall."
"How daring of them! I heard some rumors that Cedric and his members were rushed to the hospital yesterday. From the speculation, it looks like their injury wasn't anything light. Good for them. I've never liked that guy at all." Walker gloated over Cedric misfortune.
"What, he was injured! Karma is really a bitch. That's what he deserves." Although he was quite surprised, Jose was also satisfied with Cedric outcome.
"Cough...cough." Atlas gave out an awkward cough. He subconsciously glanced at Miley who was walking at the side. Seeing the other party making no attempt to say anything, he withdraws his gaze and continue his steady pace with the team.
...
Among other hover cars arriving at the mercenary hall, an inconspicuous hover car pulled up at the parking lot of the mercenary hall. Like any other individuals, the two occupants in the car wouldn't have captured anyone's attention were it not for their weird clothing appearance. Both Amos and Ian stepped out of the hover car, dressed in the same overall black cloaks they had worn on their first day at the mercenary hall.
Ever since the encounter with that terrifying monster, Amos didn't dare to venture into the wilds with Ian anymore. But then, with the National tournament shifting closer, he had no choice but to bite the nail and bring Ian along with him to the mercenary hall.
Unlike his previous naive self when he first arrived here, Ian already knew what to expect outside in the wilds. His backpack was already filled up with the basic necessities he would need out there.
However, their weird clothing brought all attention to them, since it served as a means of amusement for the bored mercenary. Ian couldn't help but feel the same embarrassment he had felt just back then.
The two advances towards the entrance of the hall. Coincidentally, the two of them bump into the Tyron's team who were just about head out from the entrance.
"Huh, isn't this Mr. Tyron." Amos eyes glistened the moment he saw Tyron and his colleagues. "What an unexpected chance encounter."
Tyron and the others also looked up, and noticed that they were the strange weird cloaked duo that were almost implicated during their escapism.
"Mr. Amos." Tyron still recognizes Amos based on his voice and clothing appearance.
"Yes, it's me. Ever since that incidence, I didn't dare to come back to the mercenary hall. But who would have thought that the very day I came, I would chance upon you at the entrance." Tyron was his benefactor, so despite his rejection to become closer, Amos still wants to get along with him.
"Well, it's good to see you back here, Mr. Amos." Tyron gave a polite smile.
"I see that you guys are about to go on your way. I wish you a happy mission." Not wanting to delay their outing, Amos gave a farewell gesture.
"Thank you." After bidding farewell, the whole group left, leaving the duo alone standing at the entrance.
"I hope we do chance upon them once again outside of the wilds." Although Amos had uttered that, he knew that the probability of them meeting was close to zero. With how vast the outside wild is, how could they come across each other.
He shifted his gaze to Ian, who was still staring at the departing figure of the Tyron's group. A knowing smile surfaced on Amos lips.
'It looks like the Crown Prince has also been encapsulated by Mr. Tyron prowess.'
However, if he had known that Ian was instead looking at someone else entirely, Amos would have bite back his words.
From the very first moment they met the Tyron guild members at the entrance, Ian's attention had been on Xue Yiran's face all along. She was the same girl he had rejected back then. Maybe his gaze was too intense, Xue Yiran had looked up at the other person, their eyes meeting.
It was just a brief moment, but it sparked a big reaction inside Ian's heart.
[That guy's a creep. He was staring at host all along.] Not only Xue Yiran, Susu had also detected the other person concentrated stare. He couldn't help but feel a sense of aversion for the other guy beside Amos, without knowing who he was. He hopes they wouldn't encounter them again.
---
Unfortunately, Susu hope was blown away in the next instant. How could they have crossed each other once again.
"Wow, this could be a fated encounter between us, Mr. Tyron." Amos again, walked forward and greeted the group. "Since we are heading in the same direction, how about we team up together?" He posed forward. "Don't worry, I'm an A rank expert. Therefore, I won't be a huge burden on the team. As for my other partner, I will be in the matter of his safety."
Teaming up together was not bad. A lot of adventurers do team up together to hunt. But instead of giving Amos an answer, Tyron turned to looked at his other member for their opinion. Miley shrugged, initiating that she didn't mind. The others also give their consent with their body language.
Tyron then shifted his attention back to Amos. "Sure, we can team up. However, the hauls will be distributed based on contribution. If you agree with that, then you're welcome to join us, Mr. Amos."
"Oh, thanks so much." Amos was expecting Tyron to refuse him like he had done before. Who knew that the other party would agree to him.
Finally, the group of twelve headed towards their destination.
