Confession and Going undercover.

"Dai, wait!" I call out after him. He came to a halt and rest his hands on his knees. I caught up to him and looking closely at him, I saw the tears running down his cheeks. He's cry, and I did the only thing I know that will comfort him right now. I stoop down and I hug him, I hug him really tight. Letting him know that it is ok, and I will love him no matter what. He hug me back just as tight and cry into my shoulder, his soft sobs echoing in my ears breaking my heart even more. Thoughts swirling in my head, did they liked each other before? Maybe that is why they have been cruel to each other. Maybe they have been in a secret relationship and I caught them in the act kissing, but why were they arguing? And by the look on Dai's face and him suddenly crying now, did Brice just kiss him out of nowhere? Did he kiss him without Dai giving him consent? Argh, I am going to make that kid swallow his tongue.

"Would you please stop, I can feel all the anger and confusion pouring off of you. And would you stop replaying that image in your head, it is already brand into my memory." He started to cry again, pushing me away from him.

"Dai, look I am sorry. I might not know what just went down a while ago but please be honest with me, are you...gay?" I ask him, being mindful of my choice of words.

He look at me like I am the devil himself. "Why do every time someone sees two persons of the same gender kissing they have to assume that they are gay?"

"Because-"

"Nevermind, don't answer that." He cut me off mid sentence. "I am not gay, but I am bi." He mumbles at the end.

"Oh, why didn't you tell me. Wait have you told dad and your mother?"

"You didn't ask and it wasn't important for me to tell you, and no they don't know because I have dated only three girls and I never had feelings for a guy before." He twaddle his pointer fingers togather.

"But wait if you have never had feelings for a guy, how comes you know that you are- Are you and Brice togather?" I ask, realisation hitting me like a brick to the face.

Dai laugh and shake his head at me. "Oh God no, but I....i don't know. We had been partnered up togather for a project in the school STEM club, and we had been spending more time togather and he isn't that much as a jerk as I thought. I started having this weird feeling when I am around him, which led me to the assumption that I am bi. I still got the hots for Avery, I am still planning on asking her to go to the school dance with me. But with Brice, hah," He sigh defeatedly. "I just don't know."

"Hey it's ok, what ever you are and what ever you will be, just remember I will always love you. Unless you turned into a super Villian, then I will take back all my love and make it my point of duty to bring you down." I smile at him and then pull him into a hug, ruffling his hair in result, him slapping my hand away.

"Hey Mi-freak, don't mess with the hair. I have a reputation at this school to uphold, I can't just go around looking like a complete mess." I didn't say anything else to him, I just continue to hug him and kiss him on his forehead.

"Hey guys, I have a new mission for us." My voice boom in the control room of our HQ. My dad and Hase turn away from some weapons they were cleaning and examine.

"What kind of mission?" Robyn ask, using a pencil to scratch inside of her cast on her wrist. It has been almost three weeks, and Robyn said her wrist and fingers are feeling a lot better. She had even ask if she could get back out in her suit but all three of us shot down her idea, telling her that she is not ready to get back out in the crime fighting business as yet. She had pouted and pester us for three days, but gave up when she realise that she was playing a losing battle.

"We are going undercover at this gala to bust some drugs dealers, who is in. Let me refrain that, dad I need you to come with me undercover to this gala and Hase and Robyn will stay here and pick up on any vital info the police may have on these guys." I fold my arms looking at my team with a smug smile.

"Oye, I never see the day that I start to take orders from my own daughter." Dad chuckle.

I hear a whine and I look over to see Robyn pouting and stomping her right foot. "Are you okie dokie Robyn bird?" I ask her.

She scrunch up her nose annoyaningly at me. "I want to go undercover too, I can't bare to be cope up in here when I know that i can manage well. I am a hero for crying out loud, I should always push forward and bare the pain. I might not have cool powers like you, Dai and your dad, but neither does Batman or the Green Arrow, but you don't see them giving up because of an injury. I just want to prove that I can handle myself, that I am not some fragile porcelain doll."

"Rob I know that you can handle yourself but-"

"No Mia." My dad put up his hand signalling me to stop. "She is right." I look over at me dad, surprise colour my face. I look over at Hase and he has a knowing smile on his own face. "She can't be put down just because of some injury, she is a superhero and she should not be deny to go on missions if she wants to. So I will present her with this." Dad take up a box off the table with the weapons and handed it to Robyn, she takes it and hold it in her uninjured hand. "Let me help you with that." Dad open the box and take out a robotic hand.

"What is that?" Robyn ask? eyeing the robotic hand suspiciously.

"It a sensory robotic arm that pick up on the person wearing stimulus." Hase chime in.

"So it is basically Miayana." I glare at her and she stuck her tongue out at me.

"No, can Miayana do this?" Dad take the box from her hand and take her injured wrist and place it into the robotic contraption. The metal hand secure itself around her wrist and my dad told her to think about moving her hand, she did immediately because I hear her thoughts along with her other thoughts about pinching my nose. And the evil metal thing grab my nose and pinch it.

"Ouch!" I cry out, rubbing my nose.

"This is awesome and I am not feeling any pain." She move her wrist around freely.

"You might not, but I am." I whine, and stop rubbing my nose and they all suddenly started to laugh. "What?" I question, lost by their sudden reaction.

"Look in the mirror." Robyn hand me her small makeup mirror and I open it up and look at my face. I gasp in horror as I see my nose, it is red and throbbing. "OMG!" I gasp out.

"I know right, you look like Rudolph the red nose reindeer." Robyn said and they all starts to laugh again.

"This is not funny, I have to go undercover in a couple of minutes and you are all laughing like a couple of hyenas." I said in annoyance. How can I do my job when my nose look like it had too much pepper sauce for dinner.

"Look Miayana, you are right and I am sorry. Right guys?" Robyn nod over to dad and Hase who both nodded their heads. "All we have to do is cover it up with some foundation and makeup and we are all good to go."

I take a deep breath and then realise it, before smiling at Robyn and walk over to the transparent board a few feet behind the monitors. "Ok guys, my Intel from the station-"

"Nathan." Robyn interrupt me and dad and Hase chuckle. I shoot them a glare and they became silent and their attention fully back on me.

"So as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted." I scrunch my nose up at Robyn and she smile shyly at me. "Tonight is the annual lotus gala at the Hudson Valley Hotel."

"Hase and I are always invited every year, but this year we decided not to go." Dad said and Hase nodded.

"It is just not our thing, too many rich people in one place can be both good and bad." Hase added his own bit. "So why the Lotus gala?"

"A major drugs deal is going to go down at the gala tonight and according to my source, the police had been trying to catch these guys from the last year now but failed. They have been involve in some major crimes, like car theft, selling banned substances and shipping dangerous weapons into the city and also recruiting younger members for there gang. The leader of this gang is Maximaff Yougetti, and he goes by the name of the snakeeye."

"Wait, did you just say Maximaff Yougetti?" Hase ask, a slight panic in his voice.

"Yep." I said popping the p. "Do you know him?"

"Know him and kind of feared him when I was in high school, but I got over my fear when i gave him a beating after school one day. From that day own he swore that he will get even with me, it hasnt happen yet, and I see him every year at the gala. He is the CEO of Candy Corp, I guess he used that as a cover up for his illegal activities."

"Candy Corp is such a lame name, he didn't put any thought into it. But I had one of their candy once and it was not bad."

"So anyway back to the mission at hand, Maximaff and his crew is going to make a big deal at the gala tonight. We need to stop it, arrest Maximuff and get Intel on the buyer and also take them down as well. Dad I will need either you are Hase to come with me to the gala. You know, because it will be easier to get in because you guys are already invited."

"Hey, thought this was going to be a two man mission. Two man meaning, me and you togather." Robyn pointed from me to her. "But no, you are just going to bench me again."

"It is not like that, it is easier to get in with one of them because they are well known at the gala and-"

"Take mine and Hase's invitation." Dad butted in. "We wouldn't want Hase getting hurt because of snakeeye's threat, and I want to see my invention in action. I have to do a lot of work after I stole the information from Brice."

"You did what?" Did he just say that he stole the invention from Brice? Hase son and the guy that was kissing Dai a few hours ago.

"Yea, I just touch Dai and borrow his soul searching powers and went up to Brice and with just one look I got what I needed."

Did he just say that he touch and borrow Dai's soul searching powers, how did he do that?

"It is call power replica, and it hasn't where off as yet."

If he used Dai's powers on Brice, that means that he saw Dai and Brice kissing. Oh no.

"Why is that look on your face honey? Power replica isn't bad, I just touch Dai and I replicate his powers for a couple of hours. It is not like I stole them." Dad said, but I could careless about his power and what not. I am worried about Dai and ugh...it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I am kind of worried about Brice too.

I shake my head to get my thoughts under control and went back to what I was doing.

"Ok change of plans, Robyn and I will use the invitations to get in. We will have our suits waiting for us in a secluded area in case we need them, and I really don't want to be recognized by Nathan- did I mention that I have a date with him on Saturday?"

"Yes, about a hundred times today!" They shout in unision.

They don't have to be so harsh about it, really cramping my mood right now.

"Anyway, I don't want anyone coming after me and Rob. So we will be going in disguise."

"You mean like in a wig and heavy makeup?"

"Precisely." Robyn squeal in excrement. "I already pick up two dresses and I got two suits as well, to be truthful, Hayden gifted them to me earlier telling me that I can sell them online if I wanted to. She had a store cleaning yesterday."

"So it is a two woman job?" Robyn clap her hands togather.

"Make that a three men job, you know if you guys will take me back." Dai smile as he stand beside Robyn.

"What are you doing here son?" Oh no, dad is upset with him because he knows about the kiss.

"I have been thinking alot lately, thank God that Mia can not read my thoughts." I roll my eyes at him. "And I decided that i had made a mistake when I quit the team, so please take me back i am begging you begging you please." He say in a sing song lazy voice.

"No need to beg Shawn Mendes, and you just butcher mercy." I smile at him and go over the mission for him.

"I am definitely in on this undercover mission, let's get suit up guys. The gala starts in

an hour, I know because I always check the time when mom and dad always leaves."

"And why is that?" Dad ask, looking at him sternly.

"Because I can get to order all the pizza i want, and also I get to do food experiment with noodles."

"You are such a weirdo, come on let us get dress." I went over to him and put him in a headlock.

"Oh, hey girls wait a sec." Dad stop me and Rob.

"Can I barrow your heels for a couple minutes?"

"Ah sure, let me just go and get them." I look at him skeptically before running off. I came back with two pair of heels in my hands, one red in colour and the other dark blue. "Here you are sir, I hope they are to your liking and they fit comfortably."

"You are not funny, now go get dressed."

Half an hour later, Robyn and I emerge from the bathroom dress in our beautiful gowns. I am wearing a shimmering dark red off shoulder gown with a split on the right side, starting from my mid thigh. I also have on a blond wig which is styled up in a loose ponytail, and my lips painted in a dark shade of red lipstick. I am also wearing red ruby necklace with matching earrings and bracelet Robyn on the other hand is dressed in a dark blue spaghetti strap gown with gold embedded on the front, her lips a light shade of red and she has on a strawberry blond wig which is style in a curly up do. She also has on a silver neckless with a aquamarine stone with matching earrings and braclet. Our makeup done to perfection, courtesy of Robyn. If it were me that had down our makeup, we would have look like nightmare clowns.

"Wow, wow just stunning. I have the courtesy of escorting these two lovely ladies to the gala tonight." Dai whistle. He is dress in a black tuxedo, with light blue dress shirt and a black tie, he has on a black band wrist watch and his dress shoes are polish to perfection. His hair is.....dyed? ln a dirty blond colour and he has in green contacts and he is also wearing big rim square glasses.

"You guys look amazing." Dad said and Hase nodded in agreement. "I have call the head of the gala committee and told them that you will be attending instead of me and Hase."

"Thank you, we better be heading out. And remember to keep us updated." Hase and dad nodded and we turn to leave.

"Ah girls, aren't you forgetting something?" Hase call us back. Robyn and I both have confused look on our face, until dad pointed down on our feet.

"Oh shoes." Robyn and I said. Dad handed us our shoes and we put them on.

"I did a little tinkering with the heels of your shoes, so I you guys are out of weapons. Just pull your heels off your shoes and a switch blade will appear." Dad explain. "Ok guys, Hase and I will be on the other end of your communicators. So good luck and be careful." We nodded and head out.

"Wow, this place is packed." Robyn said as we got out of the cab. Yes you heard me right, we attend one of the most prestigious gala in a cab.

We walk down the red carpet to the entrance, reporters and paparazzi swarm the entrance. When they saw us coming they all get ready to start taking pictures and all, but when we got closer they saw that we weren't one of the gala' s important guest and went back to their places.

'Who are these nobody's anyway? I must admit that the ladies look stunning and the guy is charming enough.' A female reporter thought. If only she knew how important we really are.

We enter the hotel's lobby and handed in our invitations.

"I am Nancy Grey and I am here on behalf of Daison Hesketh, he already said that he informed you that I will be coming in his place." The lady at the reception desk nodded and take the invitation, giving me a stamp of a lotus flower on my left wrist. I walk away from the table and Robyn and Dai walk up.

"Hello, I am Miriam Cage and this is my plus one, my lovely.....boyfriend Darrious Yong." Dai look at her with a discreet 'are you kidding me' look. "And we are here on behalf of Dr Hase Kim."

"Oh yes, Dr Kim did told us that he couldn't make it but sent a replacement. Here are your stamps.

"Seriously, Darrious Yong. What kind of name is that?" Dai and I laugh at Robyn.

"You try coming up with a name up front like that, especially one to match...nevermind. Let's just get this over with." She push pass us and walk to the direction of the ballroom. We follow her still laughing a bit.

"This ballroom is stunning, I want my wedding to be held here." She said as we walk down the marble steps that has a gold carpet running down the middle.

"Ok, back to base. We are in." I tap the small earpiece in my ear.

"Ok good, just keep in touch." Dad said over the other end.

"Will do." I said, tapping it to put it on mute.

"So what now?" Robyn ask as she grab two champagne glasses off of a tray and handed one to me.

"So no drinks for me?" Dai ask, as he look at me with puppy dog eyes.

"No alcohol for you, and how did you dye your hair so fast?" I ask him, taking a sip of my champagne.

"It is not hair dye, it is hair spray. So make sure to remind me to stay clear of any water tonight."

"Ok, whatever. So here is a picture of Maximaff Yougetti, let us split up. We will cover more ground that way." Robyn and Dai compile and we went our separate ways.

I am there walking around until my feet got a bit tired, high heels and I aren't friends sometimes. I make my way over to the bar and sat down on an empty stool.

"A glass of rose water for me please." I said to the bartender as he take my order.

"What is a lovely lady doing sitting at the bar all by herself." A slightly Italian accent said to me, someone sat down on the stool next to the one I am sitting on and I turn to see dark mysterious chocolate eyes staring back at my dark blue ones. His hair has the same colour as his eyes, his defined cheekbone is mop with neatly shaven smooth spade shape chocolate brown beard. He has a hawkish nose, and his lips are not plump but they are still attractive with a rosey pink colour. His dark grey suit hide a nice titan like body underneath and his smile would melt any lady's heart. Maximaff Yougetti smile down at me, as he place his hand on my left thigh. I have just landed my target.

"The name is Yougetti, Maximaff Yougetti. And who might you be little rose?" His dark voice wash over me, sending shivers down my spinal cord.
