The Avengers Against the Apocalypse 3

The other Avengers didn't waste time and went to attack the Mutants as Jack had planned. The Mutants didn't expect to be attacked so soon after the Avengers arrived, but they hated the heroes and fought with all their strength.

Thor faced off against Storm, curious why Jack thought so highly of her. If he could kill her, Thor would simply use Mjolnir and the fight would be easy. But since he could only defeat her and not hurt her too much, Thor used lightning.

Thor was offended when Jack told him to prove why he was the god of thunder, even though he needed Mjolnir, he had to hold back not to kill Storm with his powers, so Thor quickly started creating lightning.

Storm was thinking of attacking as many Avengers as possible at Apocalypse's request but was surprised to see someone controlling lightning to attack her. Storm, who didn't know Thor well, became irritated.

But soon Storm was surprised when she realized that, unlike her, Thor could create lightning and didn't need to control the weather to create it. However, Storm quickly realized that she could control lightning better than Thor.

Storm concentrated and with her powers being increased by Apocalypse, Storm was able to control the lightning that Thor created and attacked him with it. Thor was shocked to see Storm having control over the lightning he created.

Thor, who had not awakened his powers, was not immune to lightning and electricity, so Storm's lightning hurt him, but Thor could resist. What hurt his pride was that Storm controlled the thunder he created.

Now Thor understood why Jack said he would have to prove he was the god of thunder without using his physical strength and Mjolnir. He would have to defeat Storm using his lightning and become better at controlling what he never thought was necessary.

"This battle will be more fun than I thought, but in the end, I, Thor Odinson, will win and show why I am the god of thunder," said Thor excitedly.

Jack saw that Thor accepted the challenge and decided not to end the fight using Mjolnir. If Thor could use this fight to improve and awaken, it would be great. After all, Thor only needed to prevent Storm from attacking the others until Jack defeated Apocalypse.

Spider Man and Pietro had even more ease in taking Cyclops away from their fight. Jack had said it was better to take Cyclops away so that he wouldn't accidentally hit other Avengers with his energy beams.

Spider Man's reaction speed while fully concentrated was much faster than Cyclops trying to hit him with energy beams. It was a shame that putting webs on Cyclops' eyes only hindered his vision.

While Spider Man distracted Cyclops and used the web, Pietro approached Cyclops and with his increased strength, punched Cyclops several times, throwing him several meters back. Cyclops spat blood and tried to attack Spider Man and Pietro, but couldn't hit them.

If they had to kill the Cyclops, they would have already won the battle. But even just restraining and hitting him, they were winning easily. Pietro, with his strength and regeneration, was certainly one of the best Avengers.

Spider Man could also defeat all other mutants, but Jack knew Peter wouldn't want to kill them. So, he let Spider Man handle Cyclops, who couldn't be killed or seriously injured.

"Battle Sage said he was the leader of the X-men and had become stronger. I don't know how he could be the leader of a group of heroes if he was weaker than he is now," Peter joked.

"Battle Sage said the X-men were defeated, and some members like Cyclops were captured. It's normal for them to be weaker than us," Pietro said.

Jack saw that Archangel had no capacity to fight against Iron Man, War Machine, and Falcon. In a short time of the fight, he had taken several energy beams from Iron Man and War Machine, who were holding back to avoid killing him.

Falcon was only providing support so that Archangel wouldn't have such an easy time choosing just one hero to attack with his metal wings. It was an easy fight as Jack had expected it to be.

The fight between Hulk and Juggernaut was much more balanced. Hulk was stronger, but with Apocalypse increasing Juggernaut's power, the difference in strength between them wasn't very large. However, with Bruce's intelligence controlling Hulk, he was still winning.

It would still take hours for a winner to emerge from this fight. Jack didn't expect Juggernaut to be so strong with Apocalypse's help, but Bruce was able to control Hulk's strength much better after receiving the Extremis virus.

Steve had already defeated the injured and battered Toad on the ground. Natasha was having fun fighting Sabretooth. She was stronger and a bit faster than him, but had a lot of fighting experience and was winning.

As soon as Steve joined the fight, Natasha couldn't have fun anymore because the two were just taking turns hitting Sabretooth, who was regenerating quickly, but knew he couldn't win.

Another balanced fight was Human Torch against Pyro, but it was only balanced because Human Torch didn't want to kill Pyro. He could easily win if he attacked with full force or used the supernova.

But Human Torch didn't want to kill anyone if it wasn't necessary, so he just did his job, which was to attack Pyro so he couldn't attack Hawkeye or the others. Pyro had to do his best to defend himself.

So Hawkeye was just waiting for a good opportunity to hurt Pyro because Human Torch told him not to kill him. Human Torch was even using more flames to burn any possible arrow that Hawkeye could use.

So Hawkeye was just waiting. If Human Torch ever started to lose to Pyro, Hawkeye would kill him or at least break some bones and hurt him with his special arrows.

Jack was more relaxed when he saw that all the Avengers were easily winning, and those who weren't winning were either holding back or didn't want to kill their opponent.

Jack didn't attack Apocalypse and wanted to wait for the Avengers to gain more experience with this fight since they were winning. Apocalypse wasn't attacking because he could see that his plan was failing before it even began.
