Chapter 25

Things got better now that I'm in a relationship with both Sona and Abe, and while we decided not to make it public, due to the problems that could appear, especially from Sona's side, since her sister was a rather huge siscon that would do anything to make sure that her beloved little sister won't stolen from her hands.

On the other hand, Abe's family was way too supportive of our relationship, which, in my opinion, was strange, even more, when I start feeling the presence of someone tailing Abe as if it was her shadow.

Even though I managed to make both girls happy, the third and probably the first person that accepted me for what I was still slightly angry at me for being a scumbag that only want to play with the girls' feelings, and while she said that, I know that she didn't truly believe that, but as naïve and innocent as she was, Yukina was rather sharp when it comes to stuff like this. Not only did I take advantage of her when I lost my control when Koneko was about to be attacked, but even after that event, we keep fooling around like a young couple, and now? I was going out with two other girls while neglecting her.

So, as a way to regain her trust and at the same time make her feel love, I've decided to take her on a date.

Yukina was following me, she had never known that her senpai who was also her target could be so stupid to not see how much it hurts her seeing him with other girls, but at the same time, she couldn't really tell him anything as they weren't in any kind of relationship other than being a target and a watchdog.

"Where are we going, senpai?"

Yukina asked. After all, Akatsuki was the one to ask for her help in some strange matter related to clothes, and yet she wanted to tour around the town since it was her first time in a while walking with him.

I tapped my chin and thought loudly.

"How about we have a date?"

Yukina was stunned and quickly exclaimed. "Da-date??Yo-ou, you and I? To-Together ?"

"Yeah, date, what's wrong?"

"Do you know what this means?" Yukina said, she couldn't believe him, her senpai was in a relationship with two girls and now, he wanted to bring her on a date, she was blushing and quite excited, but she couldn't show it, she had to make her senpai work for what he did to her.

"Yeah, that I want to spend some of my time with you, as I realized that I kind of negligence you in favor of my other two girlfriends, and as your target, I was

Yukina didn't know what to do or say, seeing how serious her senpai was and how much does he wants to make up for his own stupidity, but before she could even mutter a response to his words, her hand was gently grabbed by his hand.

"Se-senpai! What are you doing!?"

"Holding your hand so that we won't get separated, did you perhaps think of something perverted?"

"Bakastuki!"

I brought her to a rather famous restaurant in the town and while it wasn't that long since I've come here, I was missing this restaurant since it's one of the few restaurants that serve supernatural beings, being under the Youkais jurisdiction and at the same time, a way of keeping an eye out on the two devils heiress and their peerages that live in this town.

"This is?"

"This is a very nice restaurant, one of the few Youkai's owned restaurants that doesn't discriminate between races, not to mention that's probably the only one in the entire province, seeing how Sona-chan and Rias are owning this town, though only on paper as it's more of a rant than an ownership."

Yukina didn't know what to say as this was a quite unique experience that would allow her to try the local cuisine and see the traditions of the Youkais, so she could only follow me inside, she was curious what kind of restaurant it was. She was startled when she saw one of the male waiters being punched by a woman.

"KYAA!!" The woman punched the waitress right into his face, sending the poor guy flying away.

"AARGGHH! Help me! I don't believe I can fly!"

The poor guy was about to hit us, when I grabbed him, saving him from being hit by a startled Yukina and most likely being injured by her weapon, which would undoubtedly create some problems with the owner of this restaurant. A huge white Tengu that served the royal family in the late Edo period led the emperor's forces to defeat the rebels and while the guy was older than most people residing in this town, he was also one of the few strong guys that won't fear the retaliation of someone if that person disturbed his customers.

"Are you okay?"

"I would be in a little while. Thank you Kojou-sama. If I would have hit you two, Yamada-sama would have punched me to Tokyo and back."

As soon as he said those words, the very owner of this restaurant appeared behind and punch him.

"You ungrateful brat! You dare to scare my customers!?"

"Ehem, can you serve us first, before you beat the poor guy?"

"Oh, Akatsuki brat, you on a date?"

"Yeah, old man, can you take u to a private room? It's way too crowded here for my likening."

"Sure thing brat, follow me. As for you… bathroom duty after you finish your shift that would teach you a lesson."

The old tengu led us to one of the VIP rooms, courtesy of his friendship with my aunt. While I didn't ask about their relationship, I was more than sure that Yamada was a family friend or at least a friend of my aunt.

We ordered our food and ate it, besides the poor waiter, their food was probably one of the best in the whole country, at least the ones that are accessible to us. After we finished our food, we said goodbye to the old tengu and went to the park since Yukina wanted to walk a little after eating so much good food.

I didn't know why but it seemed she really liked playing with the various dogs that were on a walk, especially when they were o fluffy like the current husky that was playing with her.

"He's so fluffy!"

"Do you want one? I can get one for you if you want."

"I don't have time to take care of it, besides, it's a huge responsibility."

"Let's go home, senpai."

Yukina tried to stand but suddenly she slipped and sprained her feet. I quickly helped her and checked her feet, thankfully it wasn't anything major, but she would be able to walk by herself.

"Yukina-chan, please enjoy your ride."

I gently raised her and carried her in my arms as if she was a princess that was being taken away by her prince.

"Wha-what!! Yo-you, don't need to do this!! I can walk by myself!!"

"No! Under no circumstances I would ever let you suffer any more injuries like this one, so for once please trust me."

"But…"

As she turned to protest, her face was right in front of mine and she could feel my warm breath.

"Look at me, don't look away, you're my dead girlfriend. The first one, even if you tell yourself otherwise and your happiness is your boyfriend's happiness, and my happiness is including your happiness. So don't continue lying to yourself, I like you and I would love to have you with me."

Yukina was too stunned to say anything but she was happy since her stupid senpai had finally recognized her as his girlfriend. Without even thinking she kissed him forgetting that they were in the middle of the park surrounded by a few couples walking their pets.
