Chapter 23

(A/N: Before anyone comment about what's about to happen ,remember that there's a reason behind it ,and that said reason will be reveled in the future, starting with chapter 30)

A few months passed like that with nothing too interesting happening to me. While I had in fact got a few dates of Sona, which was delightful to watch and see the serious student president getting all flustered every time I tease her, that also comes with one extremely dangerous warning from Tsubaki.

Apparently, what I was doing was akin to courting the heiress of the Sitri family and since she was the only person to inherit everything her family owns, I could become the target of some individuals if the wrong person gets to hear about me and Sona's innocent's dates.

Shortly after the first date with Sona, problems behind knocking on my door, to be fair, those problems weren't life-threatening ones if you can somehow manage to play your cards right. As soon as Yukina found out that I went out with a devil, she showed me why the church still controls the vast majority of Europe.

After I managed to calm her down, promising her that I would anything for her if she can forgive me since I've sinned, she let me live but only after I took her to eat ice cream.

As for Abe, things got complicated, as not only did she stop replying to my texts, but for a few days she even stop coming to school which truly made me realize that I was a scumbag, not only did I hurt two girls by going out with a third one, but chances are that sooner or later I would also hurt the said third girl for doing the same.

Resigning to my fate, I've decided to go out a little and calm my emotions a little and the only thing that could make me think clearly was to walk into the woods close to the city. Coincidently or not, that's when I stumble across Sona's new pawn Genshirou Saji, and while the guy had a crush on Sona, he surprisingly didn't hate me for trying to start a relationship with her. Don't get me wrong, I'm not that type of guy that would steal the girls from a guy, but is strange seeing how he basically drooled after her in the beginning, but after he found out that Sona and I went on a few dates, he just accepted the whole thing without complaining or throwing a tantrum which, once again was strange, even for him.

Now seeing him training in the forests was a surprising incident as I didn't take him as that type of guy that would train his ass off, but no matter what's the reason behind his training, I could see the guy getting stronger at a rather decent pace.

Since I was thinking about what I have to do and what to at least try to change, I've decided to talk with him a little, maybe talking with another guy would actually help and who would have guessed that it would truly make me realize some things such as the fact that while I had some girls that I could call my friends, well it was like in the middle zone between a friend and a girlfriend seeing as the three girls that I talk regularly have a feeling for me and yet, I didn't have any guys that I could call friends in the whole school, not that there were that many to begin with, but I could have at least befriend one or two of them.

Things got better after that as I found out a middle ground for all three girls and that was to tell them the truth. While I'm convinced that it would hurt them to find out about the truth, at least for Abe and Sona, it was many times better than them finding about my relationships with all of them from any other sources. Thankfully, after one whole week, the girls end up with a plan or it would be better called a bet, but while I was glad that they weren't angry at me for being a horny idiot, something was off as Yukina decided to retreat from this bet saying that she was just a watchdog and that it was her duty to stay near me. And I've got to say that she was crafty, using her mission as a free pass to avoid the bet and actually get the advantage in their bet.

Now, six months after that event, I was finally going on a double date with both Sona and Abe, courtesy of Yukina, best wing girlfriend of the year.

"Okay, I've got everything ready."

Yukina was putting my watch , a present she bought for me on my seventeen birthday which was one week ago, and while it was April, she made me wear a white jacket with blue accents, a black shirt underneath, a pair of blue jeans and red shoes with white streaks, and finally around my neck were my two other presents from both Abe and Sona being a dog tag and a pentagram necklace.

"Good luck on your date. Kojou-Senpai and don't be an idiot, at least not yet."

"I know, I know. Thank you, Yukina-chan for everything. I promise to reward you for what you have done to me."

"I'll gladly accept it. Good luck senpai."

"Thank you, see you tonight."

I left the apartment, but not before giving her a kiss on the forehead, something that she seem to enjoy more than I would have guessed, and since every time she let me drink some of her blood, we end up making out, one would have thought that she would enjoy a kiss on the lips rather than one on the forehead.

"Time to sort out the whole bet and see what choice would the girls make."
