"What?"

To say that, Alexis was shocked after hearing the statement would be an understatement. His eyes bulged and his lips trembled, opening and closing without making any sound until that one word could finally come out.

"I said you're the reason I got to Birmingham United". Omari shrugged. What was happening to Alexis was a very peculiar sight. He didn't think his words would've had enough weight to do that to him.

"Wha-- how?" Alexis was about repeating the same word but he shook his head before he finished it. That wasn't the important question.

"It was a choice between me and you". Omari said. "Even though we play different positions, our areas of specialty are the same. I'm a left winger who can play on the other side and as an attacking midfielder if need be, and from what the scouts gathered about you, you're an attacking midfielder who can play on either wing".
