VIRUS <> CHAPTER ONE
Will stood on a leaning building that was being braced with another.He swipped the floating screen infront of him.He started wondering how he even got here as he turned and began walking towards the ledge of the building.

Will did his last push-up as he fell to the ground exuasted.This was his new routine which he had started doing for×2 atleast 4 weaks now.He began to get accustomed to it as he added 10 push-ups every week.
He walked towards the bathroom to shower as he had nothing else to do.
He came from the bathroom using a towel to dry his hair as he turned the TV on and be continued to dry his hair.
Will wasn't a wealthy person but he wasn't poor either.He earned moderately about $190,000 a year with his accounting job.
He lived alone as he didn't have anyone else other than his grandfather who died last year.
"Rising number of sick people being reported in South America,Mexico,Brazil and some parts of Eastern European .As the number rises scientists are wondering if this is a returning virus or the beginning of something terible.In other news Hip Hop star Chris Black is being accused of..."The News Anchor began stating recent news as Will went to change to his regular clothes.
He wore a plane white shirt and a black shorts.
He headed towards the kitchen to prepare breakfast,he looked through the cabinets and realized that he had no bread or pancake mix.He planned on making pancakes and eggs or an egg sandwich but without bread or mix he would have to change his mind.He planned on eating the leftover takeout for dinner but he would eat it for breakfast.
Will heated it in the microwave and headed to table to eat.
After eating he headed back to his room and listened to the news anchor chatting his life away.

At about 12:20pm he he began to do his exercises which contained 20 sit-ups, 20squats, 50 push-ups, 20 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes doing a plank.
All that took him about 1hour and 15 minutes.
This was his daily routine if he didn't go to work or if he had to go to work he would do it in the morning.
After that he played some games and some anime games.He had a level 199 acount on one of his favorite games.He did woul occasionally help noodles kill bosses if he was being kind. Sometimes he would pvp with arrogant player,but this day was different as he saw a little less people than usual.
After a bit of asking it turned out that it was due to a new virus that was growing rapidly within just a few days.It was worrying to say the least but he enjoyed the game with the players that were online.At 5:00pm he took a bath again and prepared a healthy protein meal to keep up on his healthy diet.
He turned on the TV in the kitchen and the news was still talking about the rapidly spreading virus named the XV40.Will payed more attention to it as he finally realized that this was getting serious.
He ate his food washed up and headed ro his room making sure to lock the doors and windows were locked.
He played some games and clocked out at 9:30pm.

BOOOM!!!!!!
WILL was startled as he was woken up by loud sound.
He looked around before getting up and looked through his bedroom window. He could see smoke coming from a building about 2 blocks away as started hearing gun shots both close and far from were he was.
Vehicles that were driving crashed into other vehicles or stopped abruptly.
He could see people chasing other as one pounced on a woman and began biting down on her neck. The sounds of her screams was blocked by other screaming, gunshots and random explosions.
"What f×ck is going on?"Will muttered with clear shock on his face.
He moved from the window and looked for the remote for it.
"EMERGENCY BROADCAST-THE RISING NUMBER OF SICK AGGRESSIVE PEOPLE HAS SKYROCKETED. WE ADVISE YOU STAY IN YOUR HOUSE AND SONT LET ANYONE WITH THESE SYNTOMS BITE,SCRATCH OR GET CLOSE TO YOU.

The TV showed static and he tried to change it but it was the same.
"Is this because of XV40, that explains people biting each other and the constant gun shots."He got a grasp ont he situation as he made his towards his closet bringing taking down the metal box tucked in the corner Will placed it down and put in the code.What was his inside was his passport,documents,some cash, and a hand gun and some spare bullets.
He grabbed everything and placed it in a bag pack that was located in the closet.
If he new anything was that this might be a zombie virus based on the symptoms in the warning and that in movies that cities were the worst place to be in this type of situation.
He grabbed some clothes and stuffed them into his bag.
he placed the gun in the holster that was also in the box and put it around his waist.
He grabbed another bag and went to the kitchen and began taking some food and putting it in has bag.
He took 2 butcher knives and place one in the bag and held the other firmly in his hand.
He took his keys and headed for the door. Without waiting he hadn't heard the sound of scraping against his door as opened it. What greeted his was 6foot 2inches man standing infront of him.
It was his neighbor John who he was quite fond of.He looked him and realized that his skin was ghostly white with veins visable and blood seeped from his ears making his white shirt stained the color red.
"Sh×t!!"
He could see John open his mouth and stretch out his hands towards him.
Thinking quickly Will kicked fake leg which John had to replace missing limb.
With that sudden force the now zombified John dropped foward causing Will to step back.A thud was heard as John landed on his face.
Without time to waist Will stabbed John repeatedly in the back of his head.He stopped when he could see a hole the size of a fist in his head

Will looked at the new message and felt a tad bit relieved that he wasn't crazy,but that still didn't explain why this was happening.

Will glided over the window and noticed that in video game satndars he was pretty weak,he also noticed that his health didn't display any number.
He got back to reality and realized he still had to get out of this city.
He stepped over the body of John and made his way towards the stairs.
He lived on the third floor of the apartment so he had to go down two flights of stairs to leave the building.
On the second floor he encountered 4 zombies.He could see that they were spread apart but from what he had seen through the window he knew that some could run so he didn't underestimate them.
"Inspect"he whispered as to not make any loud noise.

He placed his bag on the ground and used his knife to make a clang sound against the metal part of the wall.
Hearing this two of the 4 zombies turned around and began making their way to the source.
When one of them were close enough Will jumped from around the corner and stabbed the knife straight into the side of the zombie's head.

Ignoring the message Will took the blade from the side of it head and made his way to the next zombie.
By now it had turned around due to the thud of the first zombie falling,but what greeted it was knife to the face.

Will looked at the remaining two and saw that they were now dragging there feet to reach him. He walked towards the closet one.
Seeing him it stretched out his hands to possibly grab him.Will saw this and move to the side to avoid the small lunge it did.With one swift movement he stabbed it in side of it's head.

He smiled seeing his new skill as it would probably help him greatly in the future but he had already got an idea for the weak spot if zombie which was it's head.
He studied the screen a little and realized he had some stat points he hadn't used. He thought about it and after some dilemma he had decided that 2 points into strength,3 two into speed and 2 in constitution was the best way to go about it. Speed was key to avoiding the attacks of the zombies,strength to kill the goblins quicker with more force and constitution raised his stamina by ten with each point placed in it, which would help him greatly in the long run.He saved 2 as to help him when it was needed.
Placing them into the chosen place a cool felling washed over him as felt full of energy.
"Isn't there an easier way to carry these. Don't you with an inventor or something?" he asked looking at the bags he had been carrying.

He smiled as read the message he called out for his inventory and a small purple cube appeared infront of him.He took the bag and placed them in the cube.It is as if the cube was a black hole as it sucked the bags in.
