Interview 1: COO Candidate – Rachel Harper
Rachel Harper was the first to arrive. A poised woman in her late 40s, she carried the calm authority of someone who had seen—and handled—just about every business crisis imaginable. She'd previously worked as the COO for a fast-growing tech startup that had successfully transitioned into a public company.
"Rachel, thank you for coming in," Aaron said, shaking her hand.
"Pleasure to be here," Rachel responded with a warm smile as she sat down. "I've reviewed your business model, and I'm excited about the potential I see in your company."
Aaron liked that she was already thinking strategically. "You've got a wealth of experience in managing large teams and handling operations in fast-growing companies. How would you translate that to a media and talent management company?"
