Discussion over breakfast

The mountains loomed in the distance, their snow-capped peaks piercing the sky. A dense forest stretched out below, an emerald green blanket that seemed to go on forever. A river wound its way through the heart of the forest, crystal clear water cascading over rocks and through rapids.

Nestled in the center of this magnificent landscape was a medieval city, a wonder of architecture and engineering. Its walls were imposing, rising higher than any fortress in the land. The gates were fashioned from solid iron and had intricate carvings of mythical creatures.

At the city's center stood a towering castle, its towering mass of gray stone and towers looking as if it had come straight out of a fairytale. Its walls were wide and thick, and the towers rose high into the sky. Two grand gates opened into the castle's courtyard, where knights in brilliant armor could be seen practicing their swordplay and archery skills.

A moat surrounded the castle, its dark waters teeming with fish and other creatures. A drawbridge connected the castle to the rest of the city, allowing travelers to cross without worry.

Inside the castle, the corridors were long and winding, lit by flickering torches that cast deep shadows on the walls. Magnificent tapestries adorned the walls, depicting scenes from the city's storied past. Large chandeliers hung from the ceiling, their glittering crystals casting rainbow-colored light across the room.

The sun slowly rose over the horizon, casting golden beams of light across the spacious gardens of the castle. As it rose higher, the rays of light grew more intense, illuminating the sky with shades of orange and pink. Soon, the warmth of the sun filled the air, and the birds began to chirp and sing, heralding the start of a new day.

The sunlight slowly crept through the windows of a particular room inside the castle, illuminating each corner in turn. The bedroom was the last to be reached by the sun's rays. As the warm, glowing light gradually filled the room, dust particles in the air danced in the sunshine. A young boy could be seen lying in the bed.

The bedroom was richly furnished, with a four-poster bed taking center stage, and the young boy lay still, asleep. His chest rose and fell with each breath, and his long lashes cast delicate shadows on his cheeks. A book lay open on the bedside table, its pages fluttering in the breeze from the open window.

The young boy stirred in his sleep, and his eyes slowly opened. He shielded his face from the sudden brightness, but it was too bright to avoid. As his vision cleared, he realized that his sight was hazy.

Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, the boy sat up, gazing around the room. He looked toward the window and noticed the sunlight filtering through the curtains. With the sunlight on his face, his eyes took on a reddish hue.

"My sweet dream was interrupted," he muttered to himself, running a hand through his tousled black hair. He cast his gaze back toward the window, feeling a twinge of disappointment in his chest. He got out of bed and walked over to the window, closing the heavy curtains.

Once the curtains were drawn, the room was cast in a soft amber glow, and the warm coziness of the bed called to him. He sat down on the edge, ready to close his eyes and continue his interrupted dream when he heard a soft knock on the door.

He groaned inwardly, knowing he couldn't ignore the visitor at his door. He stood up from the bed and made his way over, pulling open the heavy wooden door. Standing outside was a young maid, a few years older than him, with golden curly hair and piercing green eyes.

"Good morning, young master," she said with a polite curtsy. "I'm sorry to interrupt your rest, but your parents have requested your presence at breakfast this morning. They have something important to discuss with you."

He nodded, realizing that he couldn't avoid his parents for long. He quickly got dressed and followed the maid down the long corridor and into the dining room. As he walked down the long corridor, he couldn't help but remember how he had been reincarnated into this world five years ago. It was a strange and surreal experience, yet he had fully adapted to this new world of. He had been born into a family of noble in the Anthropos continent, in a kingdom known as Mofren, and had spent the past five years learning about the intricacies of this new society.

As he reached the dining room, he felt a twinge of nervousness in his stomach. He knew that his parents expected a lot from him, especially since he was their only child. It was important for him to always put his best foot forward and make a good impression on them.

The maid led him to the large wooden table in the center of the room, where his parents were already seated. The table was crafted from rich, dark wood, and polished to a high shine. It was long and expansive, able to easily seat a dozen people or more. On top of the table was laid out a sumptuous breakfast, consisting of all the trimmings one would expect from a wealthy household. He took a deep breath and tried to steady his nerves as he approached them.

"Good morning, mother and father," he said, bowing respectfully.

"Good morning, my son," his father replied, glancing up from his plate. "Please, take a seat."

He sat down at the table, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He knew that his parents could be strict, but deep down, he also knew that they cared about him deeply. His parents were already seated at the large wooden table and looked up as he entered the room.

He glanced at his parents, taking in their appearances. His father was a tall man, with broad shoulders and strong features, and his hair was a dark shade of brown, styled neatly. He had red eyes, a trait that was common in their family. He had a strong jawline and a confident posture, making him look every bit the powerful nobleman he was.

His mother had black hair styled elegantly in a bun, with loose tendrils framing her face. Her emerald green eyes are striking shade of green that resemble the colour of a valuable emerald gemstone, sparkling with kindness. She had a slender frame, but the air of confidence she exuded made her a force to be reckoned with. He couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort and safety in their presence, despite the seriousness of the situation.

His father took a sip of his coffee before clearing his throat. The coffee was steaming hot and aromatic. His mother was sipping on a cup of tea, gently blowing on it to cool it down, while daintily nibbling on a croissant.

The table was further adorned with plates of fresh fruit, including succulent strawberries, fragrant mangoes, and juicy oranges. Bowls of hot porridge and granola were also available, along with a variety of spreads, including butter, jam, and honey. The food looked and smelled delicious, but his nerves made him feel more queasy than hungry.

"As you know, son, you are the heir to my title and estate," his father began, his voice deep and authoritative. "Given your age, it is now time for you to begin your training and learn the knowledge required to take over when your time comes."

He looked up at his father, confused about why he was talking to him about his future at such a young age. "But father," he protested, "I just turned five years old. Why do I need to start learning now?"

His father looked at him sternly but with kindness in his eyes. "My son," he began, "you are the heir to our estate and our family's legacy. It is important that you begin your training from a young age so that you may be fully prepared to lead when the time comes."

His mother came over to sit beside him and took his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "We understand that it may seem overwhelming now, but we are here to support and guide you every step of the way," she said softly. "You have a bright future ahead of you, and it all begins with your training."

As he listened to his parents' assurances, a plan began to form in his mind. He had only just been reborn and was still trying to navigate this new world. The thought of endless hours of training and responsibilities made him feel suffocated. But as a reincarnator, he knew that he had an advantage - his past life's experience. He could use that to his advantage.  So, with a heavy heart, he agreed to begin his training. However, he also had a secret plan in mind.

As they finished their breakfast, he gathered the courage to ask the question that had been on his mind. Clearing his throat, he turned to his parents. "Excuse me, but I was wondering when my training will start and who will be the one teaching me?"

The room fell into an uneasy silence. He could sense his parents were hesitant to discuss his training further. His father's eyes held a hint of awkwardness, and his mother's hands fidgeted nervously in her lap.

"Your training starts tomorrow," his father finally spoke. "But...there's something we need to tell you first." He suddenly felt a sinking feeling in his stomach. Something was wrong. Very wrong!
