35. New Laws Part 2 and African Countries ( 2nd Update )

As my second term continued I kept pushing new laws.

Like I suggested establishing a seprate investigation body for politicians and their family members. The identity of members of this body and their details will be kept secret so politicians can't threaten them.

Politicians and their immediate family are not allowed to own accounts in foreign banks. If they have than they will need to submit yearly bank statement of every transaction. Even their extended family is carefully watched for any corruption by the new body I set up.

The next law I proposed was RTI bill. All government institutions have to give clear statement of where the money came from and where it was used. The companies who are given tenders of government projects also have to submit this report. Even political parties are not exempted from this and have to show transparency in their funding.

No politician will be able to stand in next election if there is a case filed against him, no matter how big or small, whose judgement has not came yet. And he will not be able to stand in any election till all cases on them are completed and a judgement is provided on them. If a politician is not in office than appearing in court hearing is compulsory.

Statues of national heroes can be built if the municipal government gives permission but statues of politicians can't be built even after their death as their deeds are a part of their job, not something they did from the goodness of their heart.

All the tourist spots in the country specially if they are of historical significance need to have their boundaries set and encroaching in these lands, fraud regarding these properties are severely punishable crimes even by religious institutions.

Every infrastructure tender that is released by government is quality tested by a government body. If it not meats the expected quality standards than the company is charged for wasting government money and need to return every last paisa (Indian version of cents in a dollar) given to them and the company is shut down by government order, as their inferior quality infrastructure could have killed 1000s of people, wasted crores (Indian term for 10 million) of rupees of taxpayer's money.

Every district is assigned a crop and a commercial product which is easy to produce and manufacture in the area. It does not mean that farmers can't produce another crop but those are things that can be produced there both effectively and efficiently in these area.

Every village will be provided one truck for transportation of crop and a member of their family preferentially a girl is taught how to run a cooperative, and advanced farming methods to increase yield, making organic manure and fertilizers, biomass and biofuel. This is all done under Kissan Vikas Yojana of the government started to increase yield, stop hoarding and remove middlemen.

There is a limit set on all kinds of debt by private institution so that they can't charge too high interest and make farmers fall under debt trap.

A 2 child policy is implemented. Any family who will have more than 2 children hereafter will not get any government job or subsidy, and if they are from impoverished caste than they will lose the quota privilege as well for jobs and schools. In future when the government job will lose its importance in favour of higher salary than instead of loss of privileges, it will be increase in taxes.

Nationalising all of insurance industry. Afterall they are just stealing general people's saving with less than 10% rate of accepting claims. So, the whole industry was nationalised under LIC which will provide insurance and invest the money in different sectors like hospital, schools which are also completely nationalised sector, other than Pharma, and building infrastructure etc.

And a new department which will work in analysing where the budget allocated by government to develop villages, towns and cities is being used and all the development achieved by them. If the amount used and development budget does not matches than the corrupt officials are arrested immediately and are black listed from ever holding any kind of position in government.

All of these laws were passed by the end of 1956. The trucks were provided by my own company at the cost price to the government for 2 year tax exemption on manufacturing and selling trucks.

There has been an increase in MMA competition in Bharat due to martial arts becoming such an integral part of students lives. According to estimates Bharat will be producing world champions by 1965.

These reforms hit where they were intended to and it caused worry for many politicians and rich and influential people. Especially the RTI bill which passed by a small margin.

A good news is Bharat don't need to import any more food from US or any other country and could produce it's own food from now on. Not only that but the country now produces more than enough surplus food for emergencies and still leave a great amount that can be sold to other countries.

Our rmajor targets are previous european colonies which we have recognised as independent countries. As these countries couldn't trade in money due to their recent independence and economical condition we employed barter system and trade with them in goods that they have in excess.

We also sold our old weapons that have been retired from service to these countries or to revolutionaries in european colonies again in barter system.

Anything that destabilizes european economy and wealth is a gain for us not to mention the diplomatic ties these countries brings us. We also provided their leaders and students cheap education in how to lead a country, business, entrepreneurship, how to manage natural resources etc. So that these countries don't end up one of the poorest countries like in my home world due to mismanagement even after holding a lot of natural resources like congo.

We also gave them a deal for resource extraction, communication and other kind of technology that isn't too critical for our nation, that is to provide these technology at cheap prices without us making any loss. In return we will enjoy very low tariffs, custom duty etc in these countries.

We also helped these countries settle their land disputes after those colonial countries knowingly misallocated their lands. Deviding countries as if gambling in casino and deviding land by drawing lines by scale on a map. Like which neanderthal does that.

Of course it was a similiar step as deviding India and Pakistan. Make these countries fight over land and resources so that they can never develop their countries and challenge their pale white ass.

These step will go a long way in helping these countries grow and develop and Bharat gaining a strong block in not only Asian politics but in Global policies as well.
