Chapter 105: The banquet [Exposed?]

As the Zhang family enters the banquet hall, all eyes turn to them. Grandfather Zhang leads the procession, his distinguished presence commanding respect from all those in attendance. He takes his seat at one end of the head table with a nod of acknowledgment to those around him.

Elias's father, Martin Zhang, follows close behind, taking his place next to Grandfather Zhang. Elias himself taking his place across from them; the rest of the Zhang family follows suit - filling up other seats along both sides of the long table.

The head table has been set up at the front of the room, with a large banner hanging behind it that reads 'Congratulations Elias Zhang - Cabinet Secretary.' Once everyone is seated, there is a moment of anticipation before Grandfather Zhang speaks.

"Ladies and gentlemen."

A hush falls over crowd as guests await his words.
