A Bet

While Aura was dealing with Touya's summons, Alex and Touya watched the duel between Hilde and Yae who were giving a great display of swordsmanship.

The duel ended with Hilde easily winning against Yae with her superior physical stats and skills with sword.

"Princess Hildegard is truly amazing"

Touya praised Hilde as he watched how easily Hilde managed to overpower Yae.

"Well that she is"

Alex also praised Hilde as he had seen her growth with his own eyes and how hard she works everyday improving her skills.

Looking at Alex, Touya had a thoughtful look remembering the words of his fiance Yumina.

"Sometimes when I look at you, Touya... I see a very faint golden light emanating from your body. I also saw the same light coming from Alex, but a bit stronger. Do you have any idea what that could mean?"

Listening to her words Touya had some idea about what she is talking about.

Divinity...Yes the god almighty had already informed him that he is also a god though not properly and one day would awaken his divinity.

The God had also mentioned once before when Touya died that there is another reincarnator like him in this world.

He though had searched about him before but eventually gave up and forgot about it since he was unable to find any signs for him.

But after talking with Yumina yesterday he had some suspicions that Alex might be the other reincarnator the god had previously mentioned about.

Touya looked at Alex seriously before taking out his smartphone and showing it to Alex.

"By the way Alex do you know what this is?"

Alex looked at Touya with amusement and raised his eyebrows a bit as he had already guessed Touya's purpose of showing him his smartphone.

Yesterday the surprise in Yumina's eyes didn't escaped Alex's eyes who knew that her eyes are the mystic eyes of intuition which can check a person's character as well has can help her perceive divinity.

He had already guess what she saw but didn't cared about much as he has no reason to hide his identity from Touya.

Looking at Touya a smirk emerged on Alex's face and he replied to Touya in a playful voice.

"How can I not recognise a smartphone Touya?"

After confirming that Alex is indeed a reincarnator Touya smiled and asked more about it to which Alex calmly told him about his (second)life on a parallel universe that of earth about how he was a highschool student on Earth and died by getting struck by a lightning.

Though he did tell about his life experiences he didn't tell him about DragonX, gene serum and his first life since he don't want anyone to know about it.

He had contemplated before of whether he should or shouldn't reveal about him being a god and being a reincarnation to Hilde like Touya did.

Literally telling others about your cheat or reincarnation is really annoying thing that the novel protagonists do.

I mean why should you tell others about your powers? To let someone find about your weakness or something to use against you that's what Alex thinks about it.

If it is about trust or something with your partner that's too an idiotic thing because if your partner truly respects you then they should give you some privacy too.

If you are really comfortable with sharing such kind of secret you can do it if you wish for but Alex doesn't want others to know of his secret.

After weighing whether he should tell Hilde about his secrets he decided to tell her only till that he is a god like Touya since she would become his wife and would also receive a kind of immortal life like touya's wives.

About reincarnation(Second one) he can also tell her if she can figure it out but not by himself but about his first life he intends to take that secret to his grave though being a god he doesn't think that he could just die that easily.

While Hilde and touya's harem talked with each other Touya and Alex too share their experiences with each other in which Alex admitted that he already knew about Touya's existence and watched him in secret.

After talking about their previous life a bit Alex mentioned about his company and proposed to open some branches of his companies (He owns a lot of enterprises collectively under one group) in Brunhild for which Touya agreed.

"Oh I also heard the other day that you are buying a lot of metals like mithril, orichalum and some others"

Touya thought about it for a while about telling him about framegears and phrases before finally deciding to tell him about phrase and framework but not about the Babylon.

"...Crystal creatures, phrases who are here in this world to search for their sovereign"

Alex who already knew about it didn't showed shock expression as he already knew about it but acted like it was a news for him.

"You seem to be surprisingly calm even after hearing about phrases"

Touya remarked for which Alex chuckled a bit before saying.

"Dying and transmigrating into the world of magic after meeting a god, becoming something similar to god haha now if someone say to me that there are beings stronger than God Almighty I don't think I would be surprised"

"Stronger than God almighty? I don't think that there will be someone that strong"

"Haha I think you are right"

"While we were talking about business how about having a bet?" Suddenly Alex asked with a mischievous smile.

"A bet?"

"Yes, how about if we have a duel if you win I would cover the cost regarding your framegears "

"...but if I win you would give me special privilege of opening my crown group's facilities here in Brunhild and not asking for any taxes for next hundred years?"

(Why hundred? Well asking for eternity would be really going overboard)
