“This guy works tomorrow, in case you’ve forgotten. Saturdays are a bitch.”

“So coffee’sout, for tonight. Sunday, though…”

Craig grinned, his pulse pounding. “We’ll see what happens.”

“That, we will.”

“Why did we have to leave so fast,” Scott asked when they landed in the shadows beside what appeared to be a bridge in a park along the river. “And where the hell are we?”

“It’s called Crescent Park,” Zoran replied, removing his arm from around Scott’s waist. “This is the Piety Street Bridge. It goes over the railroad tracks. Over there is—”

“Enough with the tour guide routine. Why did you drag us away from where we were? I wanted to visit some of the clubs.”

“You saw the two men I was looking at?”

“Yeah. The taller one was kind of cute, if you’re into guys who need a shave, which I’m not.”

“He’s not the one I was worried about. The other man…” Zoran hesitated.

Scott got it instantly. “I used to know him.”
