Rewards and Time Skip

AN: Sorry for all the author notes, but I just wanted to say this is the last of the chapters I've had written while I've got the big bad COVID before it got unbearable. I've been reading comments and trying to fix things and answer questions, but sorry again if the quality has been lacking. Well, might be a few days, might not. Depends if I'm conscious or not with the amount of Benadryl I've been on to breathe. Well, Author out.

As Toshiro ran home a million thoughts rushed threw his head. He had completed his first quest, which he thought might be impossible considering its contents, and now could use 2 spins. From what he remembered of what David had said, he could get things from Bleach or this world. (AN: His memories of One Piece were erased but not Bleach)

After running for a few minutes, he arrived home and threw open the door.

Shinji: "Hey bud, how was your day?" he asked, raising his hand for a high-five.

Toshiro: "It was great, I'm going to be in my room." he exclaimed excitedly before running past his father, leaving him standing alone in the hall with his hand still raised in the air.

Shinji just looked at his hand before slowly high-fiving himself while mumbling,

Shinji: "I've still got it..." before trudging back to the living room with a single tear falling down his cheek.

Upstairs, Toshiro slammed his door behind him before sitting on his bed and looking at the system.

Toshiro: "So... I just press the 'Y'?" he muttered to no one.

Hesitantly, he reached out his finger and pressed the 'Y'. After a few seconds of nothing happening, Toshiro was wondering if he got scammed until a bright light flashed from the screen before it changed to look like a game show wheel.

David: ['Sorry about that, didn't expect you to use this function so soon, possibly at all with the quest you were given.'] he said apologetically, ['Well as you can see, this is the spinning function. Basically, spin the wheel and win a prize, simple enough right? Well, get spinning already.']

Toshiro groaned hearing the voice of the god of entertainment.

Toshiro: 'Are you going to be here for every spin I do?' he asked hoping not.

David: ['No, only ones I deem important, as this is your first spin, I think it qualifies'] he said sounding bored.

Toshiro: 'Fine, whatever. So do I just press the spin button or are there some theatrics you want me to go through?'

David: ['While not necessary, some excitement would be appreciated.']

Toshiro: 'Yeah, not going to happen.'

David: ['Well then, hurry up and get this over with.']

Ignoring him, Toshiro pressed the button and watched as the wheel came to life and started spinning. After around a minute of spinning, the wheel began to slow down and landed on something neither Toshiro nor David was expecting.

'Senkaimon'

Toshiro: 'Wait, how does this work? There isn't a Soul Society is there?' he asked the oddly quiet David.

David: ['Huh? Oh, no there isn't a Soul Society in this world. This skill will require a bit of editing for your usage. Hmmm, yes that ought to do it.'] muttering to himself for a few minutes, David did something that Toshiro could only guess at before speaking again. ['And done. Ok, here is the new skill'].

[Ding]

'Senkaimon (edited)'

Toshiro: 'So, what did you change?'

David: ['Well, instead of going to the Soul Society, it leads to a small pocket dimension where people you choose can access. Basically a pocket world. Just fuse with the skill and you will get a description of it']

[Integrating skill]

Pausing for a second, Toshiro hesitantly pressed on the skill before a massive headache overcame him.

Toshiro: "AAAAAARRGHHHH!!!!"

[Integration complete]

Kanade: "Toshiro are you ok!" she yelled from downstairs.

Toshiro: "*Inhale* *Exhale* Yeah, I'm fine! Just a headache!" he yelled back before turning back to the screen, 'You failed to mention it would feel like someone ripping my head off!'

David: ['Oh did I? Well, moving on, check the skill.'] He said ignoring the angry Toshiro.

Mumbling something rather rude about gods, Toshiro looked at the skill in his status.

[Senkaimon (edited) LV.Max: Creates a doorway to another world owned by the host. The world is 100km by 100km and can sustain life. The host can grant others the ability to enter the world but must be done so using a blade. Can not be used in combat to escape.]

Toshiro: 'Wow, that's actually pretty good,' he mussed to himself before being interrupted.

David: ['Yeah yeah, I know. I did a great job and I'm amazing and all that stuff.'] he said arrogantly.

Toshiro: '*eyebrow twitch* You know, I was beginning to like you' he spat.

David: ['Oh, sorry but I like women'] he said plainly, causing Toshiro's brow to increase its frequency of shaking.

Taking a second to calm himself, Toshiro was beginning to look forward to his next spin if he got something so amazing for his first.

Toshiro: "Guess I should keep going while I've got luck on my side." he said before pressing the 'spin' button once more.

Another flash appeared as the wheel began spinning once more.

*tick*

*tick*

*tick*

Toshiro: 'Oi Oi Oi Oi, what the hell is this!?' he shouted mentally

David: ['HAHAHAHAHHA, I CAN"T BELIEVE YOU GOT 'THAT", HAHAHAHAHA!'] he laughed hysterically, ['I guess you were really on a roll! ahahahaha!']

'Okama Kenpo'

Toshiro: 'What the hell even is this!' he cried internally. If someone was in the room with Toshiro, they might have seen the illusion of tears of blood falling out of his eyes.

Toshiro, out of anger tried to punch the screen in front of him, but unfortunately, that only sealed his fate.

[Integrating skill]

Toshiro: 'Wait no- AAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!!' he released a mental scream, from both physical and mental pain.

[Integration complete]

David: ['YOU EVEN INTEGRATED IT YOURSELF, OH THIS CAN"T GET ANY BETTER!! AHAHAHHAHA']

Toshiro: *huf* *huf* *huf* 'Please tell me there is a way to get rid of skills'

David: ['Nope~, you're stuck with it!']

Toshiro didn't have a chance to respond before he fell unconscious from shock, whether from repeated migraines or from receiving such a skill, no one will ever know...

...

It was definitely 100% the skill.

Waking up with the rays of sunlight coming through his window, Toshiro sat up.

Toshiro: 'That was a weird dream' he thought before looking at his status

Toshiro stood in silence looking at the screen with empty eyes.

Toshiro: "Nope, I didn't see anything." he nodded to himself before closing the screen deciding to seal that skill and never think of it again.

After that memorable (in a bad way) morning, the day passed uneventfully.

Gradually, the days turned into weeks, which gave way to months, and eventually years.

7 years had passed since that accrued morning, and it was finally time for Toshiro to graduate from the Soul Reaper Academy.

Sitting in class, Toshiro was waiting for the end of class to come. Since Rangiku graduated 2 years prior, class had grown boring. The only positive was that he could at least talk to Mia, who was constantly strapped to his waist.

Onabara: "And that will be all for class. Congratulations to those of you old enough to graduate, the ceremony will be in one week from today after the upcoming festival's firework show. Make sure to be there on time. Class dismissed." he said walking over to his desk.

Toshiro: "Finally, I can't wait for the festival and to get my Soul Reaper badge." he said aloud while stretching.

Every year following the final class for the new graduates, there was a festival to celebrate a new generation of Soul Reapers in the village. Ending with a grand firework show, the festival gives way to the graduation ceremony for the new Soul Reapers.

Making his way out of the academy, Toshiro heard a cheery voice before feeling two mounds on his back.

Rangiku: "Congratulations! you finally graduated and are going to become a full-fledged Soul Reaper!" she said happily while dangling from his back.

Toshiro: "Rangiku, how many times do I have to tell you to not jump on me," he sighed, managing to release himself from her grip before turning to her.

Rangiku had changed in the past 7 years, and in no ways Toshiro could complain about. Her long orange hair, full lips, and soft blue eyes made her a world-class beauty. The birthmark under her lips only accentuated their fullness. Not only had she become a beauty, but a bombshell babe as well! Her large breasts were shown by her low-cut shikakusho, and her thin waist and large ass were highlighted thanks to the tight obi-jime(cloth that ties around the waist).

Toshiro stared at her a little longer than anticipated, which didn't go unnoticed by Rangiku.

Rangiku: "Like what you see~?" she said seductively as she pulled at her shihakusho, revealing more of her bountiful bosom.

Blushing, Toshiro took a second to register what she said before smirking. If she thought she could tease him without repercussion then she was dead wrong. Wrapping his arm around her waist, he pulled her in closer to him and whispered in her ear.

Toshiro: "And if I am?" he said before lightly blowing on her ear.

Shivering, Rangiku let out a small yelp at the unexpected stimulation. Pushing herself away from him while blushing, she looked away.

That was one thing that changed over the years. Toshiro and Rangiku had entered a weird competition to see who could get more of a reaction out of the other.

Kanade: "Alright you two lovebirds, any longer and I'll have to start preparing the wedding invitations~," she said startling the pair.

Hearing her, the pair blushed heavily at being caught, earning a giggle from the woman.

Kanade: "Alright you two, let's get going, we have a party to go to don't we?" she giggled.

Rangiku: "Y-yeah, we should get going." she stammered.

Toshiro: "Y-you're right." he added, and the group made their way to the Hitsugaya residence.

As they walked back, Toshiro and Rangiku stayed a few paces behind Kanade in order to talk.

Toshiro: "I guess today is my win." he said grinning at Rangiku.

Rangiku: "Yeah, but it's not fair when your sword won't let me do more" she whined.

Another thing that had changed was Toshiro telling Rangiku about his zanpakuto spirit and all of its... Uniqueness. At first, Rangiku was freaked out, but as time passed she was able to have a few conversations with Mia through Toshiro. As a result, Mia had begun to truly accept Rangiku and the whole harem situation, although not happy about it.

Toshiro: "You know how she is, even if she has calmed down quite a bit, she can still be possessive."

Mia: 'Hey! I've gotten better!' she chided from his hip.

Seeing the sword vibrate, Rangiku raised an eyebrow before asking.

Rangiku: "Mia say something?"

Toshiro: "She claims to have gotten better in the possessive department" he laughed.

Rangiku: "Well she isn't trying to stab me, so I guess we can give her that" she sighed.

Mia: 'Ugh, That was one time!"

Toshiro: 'More like 4, but who's keeping count, right?' he shot back.

The rest of the walk was filled with idle chatter between the three as Toshiro relayed Mia's messages to Rangiku. The two had become a sort of rivals over the years, which was all Toshiro could really hope for.

As the group arrived at the Hitsugaya house, lights and laughter could be heard from inside.

Toshiro: "Oi, shouldn't the party start AFTER the main guest arrives?" he asked

Kanade: "I guess they got bored of waiting, so let's not keep them doing so any longer shall we." she said pushing Toshiro through the door.

Everyone: "CONGRATULATIONS" everyone cheered when he stepped through the doorway.

Many people were there, from family friends to acquaintances. Seeing this, Toshiro just smiled before joining the festivities.

The party went late into the night until it was time for everyone to return home. As the people filed out of the house Toshiro felt a hand tug his sleeve. Turning he saw a blushing Rangiku.

Rangiku: "H-hey, so about the festival next week I was wondering if you would want to-" she started before being cut off by Toshiro.

Toshiro: "I would love to," he said smiling, already knowing what she was going to ask.

Rangiku: "How did you know I was going to ask?" she asked curiously while blushing.

Toshiro: "Because if you didn't, I was going to ask" he said smiling at her.

Hearing him, Rangiku returned the smile.

Rangiku: "Then its a date!" she said before running out the door.

Shinji: "As expected of my son, a real ladies man." he said proudly from behind Toshiro.

Toshiro: *snort* "I'd like to see you say that in front of mom." he replied.

Shinji: "What, you think I'm scared of-" he started before feeling a cold grip on his shoulder.

Kanade: "What was that honey?" she asked with an oni mask appearing behind her.

Shinji: "N-nothing honey" he stammered, then turned to see Toshiro walking up the stairs giving him a victorious look. 'Traitor' was all Shinji could mouth before being dragged off.

Toshiro: 'hahaha, well that was a good end to the night, I can't wait for the festival.' he thought excitedly, entering his room.
