Legendary Eyebrow Tremble

Hey, it's your friendly Author here! I'm thrilled to see people are actually reading my story! Thank you to everyone who's reading it and especially those who have left comments. I'm just here to say thanks and that I'm slightly changing the way they speak, it shouldn't affect their dialogue or personality, just make it more clear who is talking.

James: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

Mia: "Aw, my James can't contain his excitement to be with my forever~"

James: "HOW ARE YOU NOT FREAKING OUT?! WE ARE FALLING FROM THOUSANDS OF METERS IN THE AIR! WE'RE GONNA DIE!!!!!!"

Mia: "As long as I have my James I can die happy!" she yelled with a blissful expression.

Currently, thousands of meters in the air, James and Mia can be seen free-falling to an island bellow and breakneck speeds. As they rapidly approach the island a village can be seen. The village appears to have a Japanese aesthetic resembling something from the Edo period. The closer and closer they get to the village, the better James can see their landing location (Mia is too caught p in being hugged by James). Their landing point appears to be a medium-sized house, though it is difficult to make out any specific details at the speed at which they are falling. James is frantically trying to find a way to not become the new paint for the roof but is rapidly running out of time. With only 100 meters left before impact, James makes a split-second decision.

James: "MIA! HOLD ON TIGHT!" he yells as he grabs her and positions himself between her and the ground in hopes that at least she would get off with only some injuries.

Mia: "Now James is the one hugging ME!" she squeals in delight.

Closing his eyes, James waits for the impact, but after a few seconds of waiting, nothing happens. James quickly tries to open his eyes and move to see if Mia was okay, only to find he could barely see, and moving his arms felt extremely uncomfortable. Focusing on one of the only senses he could use reliably at the moment, James strains his ears to see if he can hear anything. After trying for a few seconds he begins to make out what sounds like someone speaking, but what he heard made him wish he was dreaming.

????: "Congratulation! It's a healthy boy!" said someone

?????: "*Inhale* *Exhale* Let me see my baby" said another voice, obviously a woman.

????: "Of course, have you thought of a name?" asked the first voice.

James feels something that felt like giant arms pick him up.

James: 'Oh god, please tell me I landed in Elbaf and these are giants.' Unfortunately, James' prayer was not answered.

?????: "He will be the future for our village, a talent surpassing all others. Isn't that right little Toshiro?" cooed the female voice.

Toshiro(James): 'Yup, I'm a baby' he cried internally.

{The Next Day}

Shortly after being born, James, now Toshiro, fell asleep and is only now finally waking up. Slowly opening his eyes, Toshiro looks up and there is only one thing that came to his mind.

Toshiro: 'Hm, I don't recognize this ceiling' he thought before laughing to himself, 'hehe, I've always wanted to say that.'

After coming out of his delusion, Toshiro tried to move only to realize he can't.

Toshiro: 'Guess that wasn't a bad dream' he sighed to himself.

While Toshiro was trying to take in his situation, a blue screen appeared in front of him.

[Ding]

David: ['Hey kid, how are you feeling? Pretty weird being a baby, right? Well, suck it up because this is your life now. I've got a few things to tell you now that you have successfully reincarnated.']

Hearing the sarcastic voice in his head, Toshiro can feel his eyebrow start to tremble in irritation.

David: ['Aw, someone quick, get the camera! It's baby's first eyebrow tremble'] he mocked from wherever he was, causing the trembling to get more violent. ['Anyways, you're probably wondering what's going on right about now, so I'll go ahead and explain it, so pay attention because I'm not going to repeat myself! What you're looking at right now is the system that aids with the show to make things more interesting. Don't worry, it doesn't have any of those shitty things like 'store', 'inventory' and other shit. All it has is 'Status', 'Quests', and 'Wheel'. I think the functions are pretty self-explanatory but I'll go over them just in case. The 'Status is exactly what it sounds like, it displays your stats to show your growth. It doesn't really do anything other than displaying your growth and skills. Once a skill is created repeating the action will become easier and stronger, basically, the same as if you were to practice for a long time it becomes like muscle memory.']

Toshiro: 'Ok, so if I'm understanding this so far, I have a status and skills, but the skills basically act as muscle memory but better. Will I be getting stat point to improve myself?'

David: ['No as that's no fun, you're going to have to improve yourself by yourself. It makes it more interesting to watch how you improve yourself with obvious limitations, will you be able to break past those limits or reach a bottleneck you can't pass. Anyways, where was I? Oh yes, 'Quests'. The 'Quests' system is a little unique as they are decided by the audience. They can be anything from 'become the strongest' to 'kill a fly'. Basically, what the audience wants, we provide. There, of course, will be rewards and punishments based on the performance and completeness of the task given. Don't worry about it too much though, it takes a lot for a group of gods to agree on something so there probably won't be too many quests. Anyways, the rewards for the completed quests will be spins on the 'Wheel' function. There are different grades and types of Wheels to be spun. You can even win different zanpakuto abilities, though they will be extraordinarily rare. And don't worry, they won't interfere with your own zanpakuto's ability. Speaking about your zanpakuto,'] only then did it set in that Toshiro could find Mia, as he began to panic he heard, ['Don't worry about her, she is currently sealed inside you until you get your Asauchi. For here it will be like taking a nap, and once you achieve you Shikai she will be able to take her human form. For all intents and purposes, when she takes her human form, she is basically human, like a human who ate a devil fruit and can turn into a sword, so your all set on that front.']

Toshiro could practically hear David winking at him, which only made his eyebrow tremble again. He took as deep of a breath he could as a baby to calm down before asking.

Toshiro: 'I heard what the woman I presume to be my mother named me. What's the deal with that, isn't Toshiro Hitsugaya suppose to be a Soul Reaper Squad Captain? Why am I named after him?'

David: ['Well that relates to the next bit of good news. Congratulations on being in a fusion of the One Piece and Bleach world!']

Toshiro: 'OI! how is that a good thing!!' he yelled internally.

David: [Well, when I say a fusion, it leans heavily to the One Piece side, so the only thing from Bleach that should appear in this world are hollows and some random character from bleach, so no big deal. In fact, because of the similarities, I decided to give you the body of Toshiro Hitsugaya, I mean, white hair, teal eyes, and handsome face? No way we couldn't just finish off the whole look with the name!'] said proudly, ['With your looks, you might be able to achieve every mans' dream of making a harem!'] said before going eerily silent.

[Ding]

[The votes are in and a new quest has been created!]

[Quest: Tame that sword!

Description: Your sword is a Yandere! The yandere energy it gives off is enough to terrify even a god! Tame your sword and show it who is the boss!

David: ['...']

Toshiro: 'Um... So mind explaining what just happened?' he asked.

David: ['Well... Um... As the quest said, you're going to have to control your sword's yandereness. The moment I suggested you go the harem route, every god here including me felt a chill. That's some serious strong yandere energy to even scare a god!'] he said covered in a cold sweat

Mia: "Achoo! I feel like someone just tried to take my James! I guess its Toshiro now though... Ehehehe, my Toshiro is soooooo cute!" she giggled while holding a plushy of a white-haired boy (guess who).

{Back with Toshiro}

David: ['Anyways, you're going to have to complete that quest as soon as possible because it is likely that many of the gods will want you to go the harem route.'] he stated.

Toshiro: 'Eh, why is that?' he asked in confusion

David: ['Are you an idiot?'] he asked, bringing about the return of the trembling eyebrow. He continued, ['Are you at all familiar with Polytheism? When there are multiple gods involved, they aren't exactly known for keeping in their pants, so it is likely that they will start trying to drive you down the same road. Well, you shouldn't complain, who wouldn't want many beautiful women? Although it will be difficult with that "legendary" yandere sword you have.']

Toshiro just sighed thinking about all the problems he is going to have due to these horny gods and his overly possessive sword.

Toshiro: 'Well is there anything else or is that it?' he ask tiredly.

David: ['No, that should be it. If there is anything else, I'll just contact you through the system. I suggest taking a look at your status for now so you know where you stand. Goodbye!']

As David said goodbye the screen that had been floating in front of Toshiro disappeared.

Toshiro: 'Well, I guess I'll follow his advice and check my status' he thought, 'Status' he called out.

Seeing his status, Toshiro was very happy, especially when he saw his charm and luck values. That is until he saw his only skill, which caused his eyebrow to tremble.

When that message appeared, Toshiro finally snapped.
