I squatted next to still paralyzed Kurenai who watched me like a hawk and put my hand on her stomach.

Anko's expression froze in wide-eyed hopeful desperate look when her head processed I just refused. Kurenai frowned and looked sadly at her friend who was now on all four, looking like a kicked puppy. She couldn't help but feel sad for her friend.

"Why!?" Anko angrily screamed and wanted to get up but her drugged body couldn't.

"Because it would mean you would become forever mine." I shrugged.

It was the truth too. Well, half-truth.

I could overpower the Cursed Seal with my Chakra Enrichening Seal and we all know the requirement for that one being applied... Alas, Anko is too loyal to Konoha and I would have to apply first-tier Loyalty Seal of the bat. I am not about to take the choice with my seal from a girl who was suffering because Orochimaru sealed her... That would be a dick move, really.

Anko gaped. And her mind rebooted slowly. "I wouldn't mind." She looked meekly to the ground, her cheeks flushing.

"You would." I told her bluntly. "It would mean you would have to defect from Konoha."

Both Kurenai and Anko snapped their heads to me in horror. Probably thinking I am a ninja from enemy village or some other bull.

"You are the apprentice of Orochimaru... don't give me that look, Mitarashi-san. You are quite well-known." I admonished her surprised look. I mean really? "Entire Konoha is cursing the Snake Whore." I chuckled. "Merchants DO indeed talk. You are the biggest slut of Land of Fire, girl."

I saw her incredulous look and snorted when I understood what it means.

"First of all, you are very knowledgeable about poisons. You are also inheritor of Orochimaru's taijutsu styles and snake summoner. Konoha will surely want you to, if not breed, then take apprentices and give them your skills. Eventually, it WILL happen." I tore apart any and all idiotic delusions the girl told herself. "You are an asset. No matter how much fucked up you are by the higher ups in the village..."

"Hey!" Anko screamed at me but quieted down when I gave her 'seriously?' look. That's when I felt Konan appear in the corner of the cave, hiden by the shadows. The two naked girls didn't notice... good.

"You can not deny it, girl. Tell me one instance when your esteemed Hokage fought for your well-being."

I asked her and it was gamble. I had no idea how he treated her but I knew her life was shit in Konoha.

"He..." A fire filled her eyes as she was about to spew all the good things her esteemed leader did for her.

"Real example. Something he did FOR you. Not something that was done to provent more people in hospital DUE to you." I quickly added and the girl could only tilt her head in conflict as her mouth opened but closed a second later.

This repeated for a few minutes as Kurenai watched Anko with sadness in her eyes. I was content being a silent observer to Anko's brainstorming. Shit... I was becoming really manipulative!

"You are right." Anko looked to the ground, defeated and I could hear Kurenai gasp.

I looked at Kurenai, facepalming. I quickly took my coat off and covering her body. I knew Anko doesn't care but Kurenai was different. Maybe late but at least I did something!

Kurenai shuddered as my coat covered her, her skin still sensitive but gave me a grateful look. I smiled at her.

Kurenai looked conflicted too. She nibbled on her lower lips as her eyes searched every nook and crany of my body with flushed cheeks.

Heh, maybe I did quite a good first impression? Who knew...

Then something I would never think possible happened. Kurenai stood up and walked towards the brooding Anko, hugging her. Anko started softly crying.

"What should I do..." She muttered.

"Let's defect." Kurenai spoke firmly with conviction and I almost faceplanted!

Anko raised her confused gaze towards Kurenai in obvious question, making Kurenai chuckle.

"I... do not have many friends in Konoha." Kurenai carefully said, tasting every word on her tongue before letting it out. "I know most of my family the Yuhi's were killed off by being sent on suicide missions." Kurenai told Anko who was flabbergasted.

"Our red eyes and genjutsu proficiency. Every time Konoha got intel that there is someone targeting an Uchiha... Yuhi was sent. Most died in ambush. At least that's what my father told me before..." Kurenai was clearly very sore about her father's demise. "Anyway, my entire family was killed of by Konoha's higher ups. I never thought about it that way, really." She said in defeat. "but it is the truth. Our clan was scapegoat for Uchihas."

Kurenai shook her head and was grateful for Anko tightening her embrace. It allowed her to keep her emotions at bay.

"I... I have very few friends. Maito Gai... but you know how he is." A hollow chuckle escaped Kurenai's lips.

"Kakashi... not anymore." She showed a bitter expression.

"Asuma, I... I always liked Asuma." Kurenai frowned. "I asked him out before he went to the Fire Capital... we went out for a month. You know, just as a trial. But he could not keep it in his pants even for that amount of time." Kurenai huffed and released Anko from the hug.

"It was only trial so it didn't matter anyway." She crossed her hands, miffed. "I still liked him but now... I am not so sure anymore."

I could see Kurenai eyes flash briefly to me. Heh. Cute.

"What I want to say is... I didn't suffer as much for the village as you, Anko." Kurenai put her hand on Anko's shoulder and I really wondered on whose side she is. All this trashtalk about Konoha from Konoha kunoichi... Sigh. "But... I... If you decide to defect, I will go with you." She told her with great determination in her eyes.

Anko teared up. Kurenai was her ONLY friend in Konoha. And even that was only since this mission.

"I..." Anko's eyes trailed from my bored look to Kurenai's supportive gaze. She did not know what to do!
