Chapter 82: Assessment!

"Seems like you are quite capable." Sakumo spoke with a plain expression on his face while looking at the new kids that were assigned to him.

"Now that you are here, let me tell you about your second assessment. If you fail this assessment you will be sent back to the academy." Sakumo spoke, waiting for them to react but seeing the lack of response on their face he couldn't stop his mouth from twitching a little.

Then he remembered the information he had come in contact with for a long time. He knew they were living with the Senju clan so it was natural for them to know about this.

Besides that information he received a detailed file from the hokage about their information. Which included their past, what they did in the academy and their power levels.

Sakuma was surprised to see a line in their files that was underlined in their power level.

"Estimated power level of New Chunin. Never show their full power."

He looked at the three kids in front of him with a deep look before continuing, "It seems you are ready for the assessment. Let me tell you the details of the assessment."

Sakuma moved his eyes from Kokuo, Matatabi to Tsukimi before continuing, "I want you to land a hit on me. All three of you can work together as long as one of you manages to land a hit on me all of you wins. I will give you a few minutes to discuss and come up with whatever you want before we start."

Saying these words, sakumo created distance between them by using The body flicker technique.

Tsukimi and the girls looked at each other, while communicating.

''How much strength should we hold back?" Hearing Kokuo's question, Tsukimi replied without thinking.

"As much as we can. We just need to touch him."

Saying that the three of them started walking with slight strength and that alone reached the level of making Sakumo think that they were definitely as strong as Chunin at the least.

Sakumo side stepped to dodge an attack from Matatabi and counterattacked with a chop to the back to his surprise the girl twisted her body and dodged his attacks.

Kokuo and the girls followed mostly the same strategy they used to defeat Tsunade.

Unlike Tsunade, Sakumo was more trained and experienced in battles so he was able to analyze their attacks.

In the middle of the attacks. He had some time with their moves. Even though they haven't gotten faster, their moments seemed more difficult for him to analyze even at that speed.

What he did not know was that for the three of them, twisting and changing attacks in mid air was as easy as taking turns while walking. It was not an understatement that they could easily find many holes in Sakumo defense but they let the opportunity pass by as they had to keep an eye on the amount of power they were showing.

Kokuo silently tried to sneak a kick at Sakumo's head, he easily dodged it while sending his own kick backwards, which was once again dodged by the girl.

He noticed that even though they could not touch him he was the same. Every time he counterattacked he could not touch.

Tsukimi lowered his presence and sneaked in for the attack Matatabi did the same but she did not charge at him like Tsukimi she moved around the man and tried to make him lose his attention on her.

Tsukimi was gaining his attention by purposely lowering his presence and charging at the man in a straightforward way.

Sakumo was just using his strength at the level of a chunin and he did not move much around while the three kids were all over the area.

Seeing that he was not much suspicious of their power, Tsukimi's punch was narrowly dodged by Sakumo and he attacked back with a pouch of his own.

He thought Tsukimi was more powerful than both the girls so he would dodge the attack like that but to his surprise Tsukimi side stepped he used both of his arms to grip around his arm and lock him in place.

He was surprised but suddenly he felt his instincts that he had honed on the battlefield for years flaring and telling him that there was an attack coming in his direction at a very fast rate.

Sakumo tried to move but Tsukimi twisted his body using the momentum of his body to trap Sakumo and lowering his reaction time.

*Thump*

That was the moment that they needed and finally the attack arrived as Matatabi punched Sakumo's back with a very low strength.

'A small tap should be alright…'

Sakomo, feeling the power of the punch, moved forward a few steps and stumbled. Tsukimi also released him.

"Phew… you guys… you have passed." Sakomo spoke with a plain face while standing up and steading himself.

"You guys can go home and meet me next week at the entrance of the mission hall at this time. We will take on our first mission." Sakumo disappeared saying that.

Tsukimi looked at Matatabi and spoke. " You really smacked the poor boy."

Kokuo nodded in agreement, " Matatabi bullied a kid." The gloating in her plain was apparent for them both.

After that they all walked back home.
