As everyone watched him, Su Mu didn't pay attention to what others thought.
Flexing his fingers, he remarked with slight regret, "As expected, my skill level is too low to release Black Flash reliably… even triggering it is rare."
Having anticipated this, he didn't dwell on it. Moving his gaze from his hand to Iron Monger ahead, he casually cleared his ear and said, "It's been long enough—time to end this fight. Can't have Tony Stark unhappy with my service, right?"
With a mix of delight and cruelty, Su Mu extended his hand forward and declared, "Technique Reversal: 'Blue,' full power!"
Sensing something wrong as Su Mu extended his hand, Obadiah fired all his weapons at once. The resulting explosions, strong enough to destroy a whole street, were absorbed by a blue-black vortex, causing no effect whatsoever. Obadiah's most powerful missiles had been neutralized so effortlessly!
"No… This can't be!"
Grinning, Su Mu pushed the swirling blue-black vortex toward him. Obadiah, realizing his weapons were useless, turned to escape, all his thrusters at full force, moving ten meters away in seconds. Just as he sighed in relief, he found himself unable to move forward, despite his thrusters at maximum power, instead being slowly pulled backward.
Behind him was the terrifying vortex, seemingly capable of consuming everything. "No!" Obadiah tried to overdrive his thrusters, pushing them beyond their limit until they turned red and began to melt. Yet, it was useless; he continued to be dragged backward, faster and faster.
Finally, under the complex gaze of Tony Stark, the solemn stare of Agent Coulson, and the crowd of onlookers, the previously invincible Iron Monger was consumed by the fearsome blue-black vortex. His titanium armor, ten centimeters thick, twisted under the immense gravitational force—feet first, then his chest, and finally his head—until he was completely engulfed and vanished.
Emerging from the swirling dust, Su Mu walked forward with his white hoodie spotless, aside from slightly messy hair, as though he hadn't been in a battle at all. Once again, the "White-Haired Demon" showed the world with absolute force that he was the strongest.
After dealing with Iron Monger, Su Mu calmly walked toward Tony Stark, reaching behind him to summon a glowing object—the Arc Reactor, the energy source of Iron Monger—into his hand.
As soon as he held it, Su Mu felt the Reactor's immense energy. His "Six Eyes" focused fully, absorbing as much as possible. After recharging his own energy reserves, the excess energy was absorbed by the system and allocated to his 'Gojo Satoru' template. Despite reaching a 30% fusion level, which increased the difficulty of further upgrades, the fusion rate continued to climb steadily.
When it reached 40%, Su Mu knew he would gain a new ability. He was excited, wondering if the new skill would be "Technique Reversal: 'Red'," which could double the maximum power of his current technique, "Blue."
As Su Mu approached Tony Stark, a notification appeared:
*Template Fusion Rate: 31%*
Tony, battered and exhausted, was missing his helmet, and even one of his armored gloves had disappeared. The Arc Reactor in his chest was dim, signaling a critical energy shortage. As Su Mu approached, Agent Phil Coulson instinctively stepped back. A natural human reaction when faced with such a powerful predator—Su Mu was even more terrifying.
Tony, however, showed no fear. Approaching Su Mu with a curious look, he asked, "How did you do that? Some kind of advanced future technology? Was that a spatial defense technique?"
Agent Coulson, intrigued, watched closely, hoping to learn more about the "White-Haired Demon."
Su Mu smiled and replied, "That's my ability."
Tony murmured to himself, "A mutant, perhaps? Incredible…"
Su Mu didn't confirm or deny it. Apart from energy absorption, all his abilities came from his system panel and had nothing to do with mutations. But he didn't mind Tony's assumption. In the Marvel Universe, mutant abilities were frequently targeted, so if someone tried to counter him with anti-mutant measures, he'd have a surprise waiting.
Tony suddenly felt a sharp pain in his chest; the energy in his Arc Reactor was completely depleted. He looked at Su Mu's Reactor and asked, "Mind returning that Arc Reactor? I need it to keep the shrapnel in my chest in place."
Not wanting his once-favorite hero to die, Su Mu tossed the Reactor to Tony. "Now you owe me two Arc Reactors."
"What? This one was mine to begin with!"
"But it's mine now!"
"Fine, fine…"
Seeing that Su Mu saved him, Tony conceded without further complaint. It had nothing to do with the White-Haired Demon's strength, no way… absolutely not!
Nearby, Agent Coulson noted that Su Mu needed Arc Reactors, likely connected to his abilities. Pulling out his credentials, he said, "Hello, sir, I'm Agent Phil Coulson from the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division. I'd like to ask you a few questions."
Su Mu looked at Coulson's sparse hair, and after staring long enough for Coulson to feel a bit offended, he commented, "Looks like your work is quite stressful."
"Yes… well…" Coulson, a bit embarrassed, composed himself and continued, "Would you be interested in joining us as an Avenger?"
Su Mu wasn't surprised. Nick Fury was already planning the Avengers Initiative, and his invitation was to be expected. Su Mu had planned to decline, but recalling the Tesseract at the S.H.I.E.L.D. base and the Mind Stone soon to arrive, he smiled and replied, "Of course, I'd be delighted!"
Looking at Su Mu's playful smile, Coulson couldn't help but feel a slight foreboding…
