"Impossible!"

Tony took back the helmet from Leo, put it on, and instructed his smart butler:

"Jarvis, scan my body and analyze my current condition!"

"Yes, sir."

Moments later, the magnetic voice of Jarvis reported from within the Iron Man suit:

"Scanning in progress. Scan complete. Sir, you are confirmed to be in a state of poisoning. 

The poisoning is located in the chest area, caused by palladium seeping into your body from the Arc Reactor.

If you continue to use the Mark suit, the toxin will spread faster, and in three months, it will have spread throughout your body, leading to immediate death."

"Find a solution?"

Tony steadied his emotions and gave another command.

His Mark suit, equipped with body scanning devices, could detect his condition and provide the best suggestions, rivaling the top doctors in the world.

Of course, actual treatment still required a hospital, as the suit lacked surgical capabilities and the necessary medications.

Soon, Jarvis responded:

"Sir, with current medical technology, there is no complete cure. Unless a new element can replace the palladium in the reactor, the poisoning cannot be eradicated.

Alternatively, ceasing use of the Mark suit to reduce palladium intake and consuming large amounts of chlorophyll-rich vegetable juice can alleviate the condition to some extent."

"How long can I live using your method?"

Tony asked, frowning.

"Without using the Mark suit and consuming sufficient chlorophyll daily, you can live for two years. If you continue using the Mark suit and consume sufficient chlorophyll daily, you can live for six months."

Understanding Tony's intent, Jarvis smartly listed both scenarios.

After hearing this, Tony fell silent.

He had hoped Jarvis' method would give him another decade or two, but realizing he had at most two years, he figured he might as well live freely for six months, which suited his personality better.

Removing his helmet again, Tony turned to the ever-composed Leo and shrugged helplessly:

"Alright, you win. If you can detoxify me and save my life, I'll endorse your products and leave a spot on my back for your advertisement!"

As smart as Tony was, he knew why Leo brought up the poisoning issue.

However, there was no choice. Despite thinking an ad on his spectacular Iron Man suit would degrade its class, losing his life made any vanity pointless.

He understood this very well.

He could only console himself that this was for a good cause, contributing to humanity still in poverty.

"Deal!"

Leo stood up and shook hands with the somewhat dejected Tony.

"But I must remind you, my method can clear all toxins from your body at once. However, as long as that thing in your chest continues to emit poison, you'll need to come to me periodically for detoxification."

The Mystical palm Technique could heal wounds and remove toxins, but unless Tony found a new element to replace the palladium, it couldn't provide a permanent cure.

Actually, this was good. Tony would need to seek his help regularly, ensuring he couldn't back out. Even if Tony upgraded his suit, he would still need to leave a spot for the advertisement.

As for the ultimate cure, Leo temporarily decided not to tell Tony, mainly because it was hard to explain the source of the information.

"No problem, this is already great!"

Tony paused and eventually nodded.

The Arc Reactor sustained his life; he couldn't stop using it. Besides, he loved being Iron Man and wouldn't give it up.

As long as Leo could regularly detoxify him, he would have enough time to eventually find a new element to replace the palladium and solve the problem.

"Alright, then take off your clothes!"

Leo looked at Tony.

Tony covered his chest with both hands, looking horrified:

"Take off my clothes, do you also...?"

"I mean, take off that outer Iron Man suit, otherwise how can I detoxify you?"

Leo looked speechless.

Tony burst into laughter upon hearing this:

"I know, just joking with you. Don't always be so humorless.

I can't take off this suit by myself. I need to go back and use special machines. I'll drive over tomorrow."

Tony put on his helmet, opened the window, and shot out like a rocket.

Seeing this, Leo shook his head, then muttered quietly:

"Am I really humorless?"

On a sunny day in Washington, Nick Fury drove his modified Chevrolet Suburban away from the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, heading to another base.

Earlier in his office, he had instructed his two most trusted subordinates, Hill and Coulson, to secretly investigate related personnel involved in suspicious incidents and mobilize some of his hidden resources.

Now he just needed to act as usual to avoid alerting the Hydra agents within S.H.I.E.L.D.

However, as he turned onto a street, a police car slammed into his Chevrolet from the left side of the intersection.

Before he could react, three more police cars hit from the front, rear, and right sides, trapping his car in the center.

"Motherf***er!"

Fury cursed in anger, realizing this was no traffic accident but an assassination attempt.

"How did they move so fast? Is there a traitor among Hill and Coulson? No, unless... even my actions in retrieving information were seen, Hydra's infiltration is this deep!"

While injecting himself with a healing agent, Fury quickly deduced the source of the problem.

Hill couldn't have betrayed him, as she knew almost all his secrets. If Hill were a Hydra agent, she wouldn't need this elaborate street setup to kill him.

As for Coulson, his protégé whom he knew inside out, a true believer in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s ideals, couldn't be a Hydra agent.

"Activate countermeasures!"

As the bulletproof glass of the Chevrolet was being shattered by Hydra agents with strong impact devices, Fury ordered the car's AI to initiate countermeasures, and a machine gun popped up from his seat.

With an unexpected machine gun burst, he killed the surrounding Hydra agents. Assisted by the AI, he finally broke through the encirclement and drove madly through the streets.

Unfortunately, he didn't get far before being stopped by a masked man with a mechanical left arm. In the end, he had to use a high-heat laser pen to escape into the sewers to survive.
