Chapter 174
“Fine I've heard you, so can you please go home now?”
“ I will go but I need money”
“How much money do you need?”
“Give me enough money to take care of myself for a full month, after that I will be coming to the office for another money”
“No problem” Paul gave her the money and ask her to leave.
He went home so exhausted, he didn't know how to explain it to Christy that Bianca was in the office today.
Sharon is finding it difficult to reach Ben because Patrick is still with her phone.
He never wanted to give the phone back to Sharon.
Ben on the other hand is getting worried because Sharon wasn't picking his call so he made up his mind to visit. Sharon almost ran to hug him.
“What is going on! are you okay? why are you not picking my calls?. I was so worried about you. I thought something has happened”
“Nothing much, but Patrick took my phone”
“ I noticed, so where is he now?”
“I don't know, maybe in his house”
“And he's with your phone”
“Yes, I can't make calls, can't reach anyone it’s been a week now he’s with my phone. I can’t do anything about it”
“It’s ok, just let him hold the phone if that is his problem.
so what about you how are you feeling?”
“Not feeling fine” Sharon said making a her like a baby.
“Anything the matter?” Ben began to examine Sharon.
“But you look ok”
“Yes I look ok, but it’s like I’m missing someone”
“Really?, so who could that be?”. Ben ask smiling at her.
“I don't know, you can guess”
“Yeah of course I know, so how far have you gone about the divorce?”
“My lawyer keeps going to Patrick to sign the documents but he refuse, so I don't know what else to do.”
“Then you have to sue him to court” Ben suggested.
“What!, sue him to court? I don't want to go into some kind of war with him, I just want him to understand and sign it”
“Yeah but he’s taking time to do that”
“Well I don't know but I don't feel like taking him to court.”
“Does that mean you still love him?”
“Not at all, I don't love him anymore I love someone else.”
They are still talking when someone walked in and clear his throat.
Ben and Sharon turned to look at him and then he takes his hand off her
“ I'm sorry ma, but someone is waiting for you at the reception”
“Is anything the matter?”
“ I think it's an urgent case and your attention is needed”.
she excused herself and went there, is an urgent operation needed so she asked Ben to help out and they both work that day feeling so exhausted after work.
They went out to drink but Sharon usually smoke and drink whenever she operate on someone but because Ben is with her she option for soft drink and after that she started throwing up.
“Are you ok? what is wrong with you?” Ben rushed her.
“Please take me home, I'm feeling sick right now”.
“Why?, but you are ok minutes ago”
Sharon couldn’t explain to Ben that she always smoke and take hot drinks each time she has to handle operation.
