Qin Shuang'er looked at him proudly, then took the lead in crawling in. Su Ke smiled and followed right after.
He then realized that the cave was not very large; with two people inside, it seemed a bit cramped, their breaths as though whispering in one's ear, causing Qin Shuang'er's cheeks to flush with embarrassment.
"I wouldn't have imagined, you knowing about such a place..."
There was a sense of wonder in Su Ke's words.
Such a secluded spot, he wondered if it was deliberately left by the craftsmen who built the artificial mountain, a convenient place for secret rendezvous.
"What's so difficult about that? Humph, just the other day I was playing hide and seek with the First Princess. I couldn't find anyone, and later an old nanny took me here to look. I remembered it since then!"
Qin Shuang'er glanced at him indifferently.
"How has the First Princess been lately?"
Su Ke casually asked.
