Sylvie
I chased after Michael, trying to explain myself but he wasn't exactly listening. He didn't say a word to me, nor did he even take a second to look at the guilt on my face. I wanted him to know that I felt genuinely bad for doing what I did, but that would never happen if he didn't spare even a second to look at me.
"I swear it was a mistake, a stupid one," I cried. "I don't know what came over me, but I swear it'll never happen again."
Finally, Michael turned towards me, his eyes cold and almost void of emotions. "I think I need some time alone, I just want to be on my own for a little while."
"Please listen to what I have to say first, Michael—"
"Sylvie, I need some time alone." He cut me off, his voice soft yet authoritative.
