"Not helpful, Troy," his cousin replied dryly. 

"Sorry. But this really is going to be a simple and painless as possible. You two meet Megan on Saturday and get to know her a little bit so your interactions at the reunion seem more natural and that's the end of it." 

"Forgive me if I don't believe you when you say things are a one-time deal."

Troy knew Jonah was thinking about how he managed to coerce him into being in the Freddie suit for him more than once. "Hey now, that worked out GREAT for you. So don't start."

"Yes, but I don't see this ending well for anyone involved. What if Megan ends up actually liking you? Then what are you going to do? You're the one that gave me a hard time for making Eden like me under false pretenses."
