The second chapter.
also, The mana bombs in the original novel confused me but I figured out what happened while writing this.

The 10 minutes had just begun.
Cale watched Choi Han grabbing someone and ripping the necklace from that person's neck. It was the person the Black Dragon determined to be in possession of the magic bomb.
'That must be it.'
"Cale!"
Eric almost shouted in the frenzy. Cale slowly looked around him.
Chaos was the only word that could describe what was happening here.
"Hahahaha"
Redika was laughing like the crazy lunatic that he was.
The Royal Knights and mages immediately focused on evacuating the Royal family safely.
"Why are you blocking the exit!"
"Open up a path!"
The crowd that was shouting their lungs out a few moments ago was screaming at the guards. Looks like the guards had blocked the exit.
"Get them."
Redika's voice resounded again as spears and daggers started pouring like rain towards the Knights that were approaching the Bell tower.
The Knights also fought back but could only defend. Clangs and Tings started to resound which was very loud.
Suddenly, The Black Dragon talked in Cale's mind using telepathy.
– We found more.
By 9:04 am. Three Mana Bombs were found so far.
5 mana bombs were dismantled by Choi Han and the group this morning. Adding the three that were discovered just now made it 8.
If the number of bombs was the same as the novel then there should be two more undiscovered Bombs.
"Cale! We should go as well! We should go!"
"Young master Cale, hurry up!"
Eric, Amiru, Gilbert, and Taylor quickly gathered around Cale. With nervousness filling the eyes of each of them. They wanted to get out of here but couldn't leave Cale.
It was a nice thing to do but Cale was never paying attention to others. His mind was filled with many thoughts so when he heard their voices.
Cale saw the chaotic expression on Eric's face. The others were frowning also.
"What are you doing? Hurry up and let us go!"
"Let us out right now!"
Except for a few, most of the nobles were confronting the guards for blocking the door. It was chaotic but still under control. But,
It was different underneath the platform.
"Please calm down!"
"You expect us to wait in a situation like this? Get out of our way!"
"Are you crazy?!"
The guards that were trying to hold of the crowd had to listen to the shouts and curses. The entire crowd was protesting.
It was a complete mess. Eric was frantically pacing around, so Cale put his hand on Eric's shoulder.
"Hyung-nim."
"Ah."
"Calm down."
Eric calmed down after seeing Cale's calm demeanor. Eric absorbed all of the events going on around him and Cale spoke.
"That is more like you."
"…Thank you. I feel like my head has cleared."
Gilbert and Amiru had come back to their senses after hearing what Cale had said to Eric.
It would be stupid of them to panic more than they have already done. The calmer nobles gathered their people and started to asses their situation.
The other nobles from the Northeast region were headed toward them. They were all looking at Eric, but Eric and Gilbert were looking at Cale.
But, Cale was also looking at Taylor.
Taylor was a very good person. That was why he was more worried about the citizens than himself. Cale looked toward Eric and started to speak.
"Let's go."
Eric nodded his head and led the Northeast nobles to the gate. Cale looked at the clock.
9:08 am. It had been 8 minutes. No new bombs had been found yet. But the mages started to get rid of the Mana disturbance Tool.
– One more removed.
The black dragon suddenly spoke in Cale's mind.
'If it's the same there should be only 1 left.'
Cale was still thinking.
Suddenly, The red Mana that had disappeared in the air appeared. It looks like before it hadn't faded away but was only weakened. Losing its red color and becoming invisible.
Why did the Mana come out?
It was because the restraint had been removed. The Mana Disturbance Tool had stopped working. Before ordinary people could process what just happened.
The Mages had managed to do it as the Mana had become stable. The Time on the Clock hit 9:09 and 40 seconds.
The black dragon spoke once again.
– That is all.
"What?"
"Young master Cale, what is wrong?"
Cale was not in the situation to answer. There were 10 Bombs. Only 9 were found. Where was the other one?
Did the number of bombs change because the story has changed? That was plausible but Cale did not let his guard down for once.
Four Items began to fly up. Cale no everybody could see four items being shot up into the sky like a shooting star. It was Rosalyn and the Black Dragon using their magic.
The Mana had become completely stable so the Red Mana that had only appeared a few seconds ago moved. It followed the flying items towards an uninhabited mountain with a harsh terrain
The clock hit 10 am. The red mana balls finally came into contact with the four items…
Booooooom-!
A deafening explosion occurred in the sky. A massive pillar of black smoke soon followed as a large gust of wind rushed toward the crowd in the plaza.
Silent.
Absolute Silence.
Nobody uttered a word. The expressions of all the present Mages' turned pale. They just realized it. The identity and purpose of the red mana balls.
Like them, The nobles and the Royals also turned pale. As educated people, They knew what could cause such scale of explosion.
"Magic bombs."
Taylor Stan muttered those words in shock. Such words were spoken in the hearts of many nobles.
A magic bomb.
Cale looked around.
Nobody had died.
He was careful but it seemed fine. Considering that many things changed in the novel. This might have been one of the changes.
– We saved them all.
Cale could hear the Black Dragon's voice in his head. The black Dragon was speaking with joy. It was the first time he had saved somebody. The chaotic plaza was now very calm. No, it was almost depressingly silent.
The people's imagination ran wild.
'What if those exploded... among the crowd?'
Fear and Relief filled the faces of many.
– I saved them!
The Black Dragon sounded very happy and excited.
'Then Choi Han will chase after the mage to kill him.'
Cale looked toward the top of the Bell Tower. Eric and the rest had already stopped moving. They were able to figure out from what the mages were saying that the magic bombs were supposed to explode in the plaza, but ended up exploding in the mountain far away to the south.
How could they not?
Redika said it himself from the top of the Bell Tower.
"Unfortunately, nobody died. Why did they go off over there?"
The crowd again felt relieved but,
"Guess this one was a failure."
The King started to shout.
"What are you doing? Who are you? Do you think you will be fine after attempting to commit such a deed?!"
King Zed's response changed. Why?
It's simple. This act committed just now could be summed up to a single sentence.
'It's an act of war.'
No single individual could manage to pull this off. It must be another Kingdom or an organization. And doing this was announcing war against the Kingdom.
While the King was fuming in anger, Cale had a different thought regarding Redika's statement.
"…, 'This one,' was a failure?"
At the same time, An invisible white haired young man spoke in his mind.
'This is the start. *breathes* Bring it on, Arm.'
