Chapter 3: Second Chance (RE-Write)

Years 1983 Wayne Foundation Orphanage Gotham City

In a room with 2 bunk beds, a 3 years old child began to open his eyes.

Stream of memory from his previous life came and merge with his present memories.

Mc began to remember his memories back and remember his interaction with ROB. As he lay in the bottom of the bunk bed, he remembered his life from the moment he was born.

Years 1980 Gotham General Hospital.

Baby cries can be heard that night as a lab-coated doctor held a baby that was just born. The baby was born healthy with golden hair and blue eyes.

As soon as the doctor cut the umbilical cord from the baby, he passes the baby to a young pale-looking woman. The woman with messy hair lays in the hospital bed wearing a hospital gown takes the baby from the doctor's arm.

"Welcome to the world my son. Unfortunately your father cannot be with us today. but know that he loves you. as today on I will give you the name that your father wanted to give to you .your name is Arthur." The women whisper to the baby she held.

While baby Arthur is placed in a room full of other babies, news came that his mother is gone from the hospital and left only a note saying I'm sorry.

With his memories now merge, mc now knows his new name. Arthur William. William's name comes from one of the orphanage caretakers who has been taking care of Arthur this whole time.

Arthur knows that there must be some explanation for his birth parent's disappearance, and he will try to find out in the future.

Even knowing this, Arthur didn't get sad maybe with him in the orphanage making him remember his old childhood. But in this new life, he was not shunned by other kids. Instead, he has made many friends in the orphanage.

The orphanage is really lovely, much different from his previous life. This is proven by the orphanage's many facilities available. It even has a library.

The situation in the orphanage is really great because of the donation and the effort of the Wayne family. Especially Martha Wayne.

Talking about Wayne, its looks like bruce was born last year. Meaning that Arthur is 2 years older than future batman.

In the orphanage, Arthur starts to practice his power of probability manipulation, from flipping a coin, tossing paper to the trash bin, and even using it when playing hide and seek with other kids in the orphanage. Arthur will always find the other kid, as the other kid will start to sneeze, talk, twitch the moment Arthur was near, making it easier for Arthur to find them.

Arthur tries to test his other power. Arthur began to mimic other older kids' cartwheels and even learn how to chop vegetable from the caretaker from photographic reflexes. His genius-level intellect gives him the ability to easily learn and absorb knowledge. He even has his photographic memory. With perfect recall, he can remember everything from his life. His regeneration power also shows up when Arthur got injure falling down from the bunk bed. Still, his skin heals itself, and nobody knows Arthur even falls. For his last power, it can be his passive ability.

Arthur also spends time in the library reading any available book he can get as he got the free time to do it. The caretaker didn't care about Arthur in the library. They just thought It was cute for Arthur to read and learn In the library.

Timeskip 1 year

Arthur turned 4 years old and began to start kindergarten. Still, it soon shows that he was way more mature and intelligent compared to other children.

Noticing how Arthur is, the caretaker began to tell the orphanage director, and he happily encouraged Arthur. Even the Wayne family came to the orphanage to see him in person and introduce their 2 years old son bruce to him.

The Wayne really favor Arthur, so they often came to the orphanage, making Arthur and bruce become friends.
