*Theia's POV*

"RY, BILISAN MO NAMAN!!"

There were 5 stages on the 1st game.

Gabby called it "The Closer, the Better"

It sounded weird lalo na galing sa kanya.

1st Stage: The Sack Race

One leg from each pair will be placed inside the sack while hopping towards the finish line. But there's a catch, yung paa na nasa loob ng sack will be tied together with your partner's.

2nd Stage: The Balloon Relay

Pairs will stand back to back with a balloon between them. They need to stay in that position while moving until they safely transfer it on a container. Mahulog man o maputok yung balloon, we have to start over.

3rd Stage: Balloon Dart Game

Balloons filled with water is attached on the 3rd station. Each player gets to throw three darts and we need to pop five out of 10 balloons.

4th Stage: The Bouncer

Glasses of water are prepared on the 4th station. Players will get 2 ping pong balls. It must bounce on the table's surface and into the glasses. We need 3 out of 5.

5th Stage: Eat the Donuts

Donuts will be tied on a string and we have to eat as many as we can habang nakatali yung mga kamay namin.

Gab's staff were on each stage to assist. Whoever finish first, wins the game.

Pangalawang pair na yung naglalaro.

Ivy and Ry.

Kaya kanina pa gigil si Charm. Ang bilis kasi nilang nakatapos ni Gabby and we're on the lead.

"RYAN ANO BA YAN!" Sigaw ni Charm. "BILISAN MO NGA!"

Hindi ko mapigilang kabahan. Mukhang ganun din kasi aabutin ko mula sa kanya mamaya.

Nasa likod lang namin si Nate. He doesn't seem to be interested at all habang nagsisigawan yung teams dito.

"AYIEEEEEEEEEE!"

Napatingin ako sa Team A.

It was Ken and Steph.

Nasa last stage na sila. They were both taken by surprise nung nagdikit yung labi nila.

"BE A MAN, BRO!" Sigaw ni Yves.

"HOY, KENNETH." Vin shouted. "MAMAYA NA YANG KALANDIAN MO. TAPUSIN NIYO MUNA YUNG LARO!!"

Halo halong tawa yung narinig namin. Hindi ko rin napigilang tumawa. Namula kasi silang dalawa.

"NAUNAHAN KA NA TULOY NILA RY!"

I didn't notice na tapos na sila ni Ivy at pabalik na sila sa'min.

"Will he even play?" Tanong ni Charm.

"Ewan ko."

Nate disappeared. Kanina lang nandito siya.

"A-ko nalang ulit."

But Ry looked exhausted.

"Pero pagod ka na."

"You should hurry up!" Gab said. "Matatalo tayo."

Patapos na yung iba sa last stage. They've already started with the last pair.

"Let's go."

"Nate--"

Hinatak niya ko agad papunta sa first stage. He started warming up.

Our feet were already tied. Nakasuot narin hanggang sa binti namin yung sako.

"Hindi ka naman madadapa diba?"

"Huh?"

"Tara na."

"Ha??"

He started hopping and I had no choice kundi sumunod sa ginagawa niya.

I tried to keep with his pace pero ang bilis niya.

"GO, THEIA!!!" I heard Charm screamed. "GO GO GO!!!"

Malapit na namin matapos. Konting talon nalang!

"AHH!"

Yung kinakatakot ko nangyari na.

Na-out of balanced ako.

I kept my eyes shut.

"Ano matutulog ka nalang ba dyan?"

Napamulat ako.

I didn't fell.

Nakahawak yung isa niyang braso sa bewang ko.

"My arm, Theia." He said.

Tumayo ako agad pero mas lalo lang ako natumba. Nate held me again and helped me up.

"Okay ka na?"

I nodded.

"Are we going to finish this or what?"

Dahan dahan ulit akong tumango.

Nagulat ako nung binalik niya yung kamay niya sa bewang ko.

"I'm going to keep holding you like this to make sure hindi ka na mahuhulog."

Uminit yung pisngi ko.

"ANO MAGLALANDIAN RIN BA KAYO??"

I blushed even more.

"We need to move bago pa bumuga ng apoy yung kaibigan mo."

"Sorry.."

Ugh! Nakakahiya!

Lagot ka sa'kin mamaya, Charmaine!!

It's the second stage.

Our arms were intertwined while holding the balloon on our back. It was his idea para siguradong hindi mahuhulog yung lobo.

Nahihiya ako nung una but he was really good at this kaya I tried my best not to get in his way.

If he wants to win, gusto ko rin manalo.

We finished the 3rd and 4th stage without problems.

Ang galing ni Nate.

I was mesmerized everytime it was his turn. Hindi ako magaling sa ping pong compared to the dart game but he finished it na parang madali lang.

The 5th stage.

Naunahan na namin yung iba. Some of them was either stuck on the 3rd and 4th stage.

Tapos na talian yung kamay namin nung balak ko na kumagat sa donut.

"Theia." I stopped and looked at him.

"You can't eat donuts." He said. "May gatas rin yan."

O______O

Nawala sa isip ko.

I was too focused on winning.

"We don't have to win." Sabi niya. "Let's just stop."

"Pero.."

"That's fine." He said. "Sasabihin ko nalang kay Gab that we'll back out."

Palakad na sana siya papunta dun sa staff nung tinawag ko siya.

"Wait!" Lumingon siya sa'kin. "We can do it."

I told him about my plan.

"Sigurado ka ba?"

"Of course." Ngumiti ako sa kanya. "We'll win."

"Pero.."

"Let's just do it, Nate." Sabi ko.

May mga iba na kasing nakahabol sa'min at nagpapatali narin ng kamay para sa game.

"Okay."

The plan was to hold the donut using my mouth while he eats. It's okay for me to bite it. Hindi ko lang naman dapat makain.

Nate was hesitating at first but I couldn't give up.

Pagtapos niya ipanalo yung ibang stage, kailangan rin namin manalo dito.

"KONTI NALANG!" I heard Charm screamed. "KAYA NIYO YAN!!"

I had my eyes closed all the time so I wouldn't lose focus. Kapag nakita ko siyang sobrang lapit sa'kin, baka mawala ako sa sarili.

*chup*

Huh?

Napamulat ako agad.

Nagkatitigan kami saglit at mabilis na lumayo sa isa't isa.

Tumakbo papalapit sa'kin si Charm at niyakap ako.

"WAAHHH! WE WON! WE WON!!"

"Great job, bro!"

Ry held up his hand without looking at Nate.

Gabby took Nate's hand at inapir sa kamay ni Ry. They suddenly started laughing.

This is how it was supposed to be.

Before I leave, sana maging okay na ulit sila.

Nate and I stared at each other for a moment and looked away.

*fweet*

It was the signal to gather around Ms. Ces.

"I didn't know that you were all so competitive." Sabi niya. "Like what Gab promised, the winners will receive a voucher of one week vacation in this beautiful place."

"Voucher! Voucher!" Sigaw ni Charm.

"Ipamigay mo nalang yung sa'yo." Tukso ni Keira.

"Tama!" Sabi naman ni George. "Jowa mo naman si Papa Gab e."

"Malamang libre ka palagi."

"Oo nga!"

"Oo na, oo na." Tumayo si Charm. "Sige bibigyan ko kayo lahat ng voucher."

"YEHEEEYY!!!"

"Lovey, ikaw na bahala." She winked at him which made us all laugh. "Love you!"

"Ang cheesy niyo!"

Pinagbabato tuloy sila ng mga kaklase namin nung tali na ginamit sa'min kanina.

"Alam kong lahat kayo napagod." Sabi ni Ms. Ces. "Pwede na tayong magpahinga while waiting for lunch."

"YES!"

"Gutom na ko."

"Kakain narin tayo!"

My eyes wandered to look for Ivy but I couldn't see her anywhere.

Nag aalala na ba ko sa kanya?
