Chapter 47

[ Hinata's P.O.V ]

My name is Hinata Uzumaki. A Ninja from Konoha until I retired after marrying Naruto. I was so happy marrying the love of my life. But that didn't come close to the happiness when Sakura confirmed that I was pregnant.

The happiest one was Naruto, as he always wanted to be a part of a family. He even mumbles about being a father when he is sleeping.

Even though I was happy, there was a little fear in me. Can I be a good mother?

I didn't have a good childhood. Being pressured to become the future Clan leader, and on top of that, added to my shy nature, made me have a rough childhood.

Naruto's childhood is rougher than mine. He was treated as a demon by everyone in the village.

So I researched every precaution to take at the time of pregnancies. I frequently visited Kurenai Sensei to get some tips on how to raise a child as she is also a mother.

I bought all the necessary things that a baby needs except clothes as I still don't know if the baby is a boy or girl. After months of waiting, my delivery date arrived.

I have to say, Kutenai Sensei was not exaggerating. The pain while giving birth is unbearable. But seeing my baby after that was worth it. After seeing his face, I passed out with exhaustion.

As I woke up, I saw that Naruto was holding Boruto, making some fun trying to make Boruto laugh.

Boruto had blond hair and blue eyes, just like his father. We both took him home after a day in the hospital.

Boruto was a quiet baby if I compare him to what other mothers say. He would only cry if he was hungry or popped in his pants. At first, he was very reluctant to drink milk from my breast.

But after four days, I think he got used to it as he is not showing any signs of displeasure. He would play with us if we wanted to play, or else he would sleep in his crib.

It was relatively easy to raise him to the point that I was afraid. I asked Sakura to check his health, but she assured me that, nothing wrong with him.

Time passed by, and I was pregnant again. Now Boruto was three years old. He looks just like his grandfather, the Fourth Hokage. Well, not to mention Naruto's very happy about that.

He always tells me that he got another chance to spend time with his father like this. On top of that, Boruto is a very definition of what you call a reliable child.

Boruto has a very gentle and mature aura around him. He never asks for things like games, toys, or cards, which other kids ask their parents.

He also took care of me when I was pregnant with Himawari. Everything was going well until he unlocked his Chakra.

I didn't even think of him being a Ninja. Naruto and I had no choice after all those times were different, but now we have peace between all Villages.

I thought of persuading him not to take the Ninja path, but what can I say? It seems like he is born to become a Ninja. He is a genius, and on top of that, his Fuinjutsu talent.

Naruto told me Boruto's classified as a High-level Grandmaster in Fuinjutsu. On top of that, he created a Seal that could store healing Chakra.

Not to mention Borutos is still an Eight-year-old. Not only in Fuinjustu, but also very proficient in Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu.

With all this, how can I tell him to stop being a Ninja? As a mother, I only want my son to have a good and happy life. So I started to encourage him.

From today his Ninja Academy is going to start. But I feel bad as he can't learn anything from them. When he returned home from school, I saw that he was dissatisfied.

But there are more things than learning Jutsus or being strong in the Academy. The Ninja Academy teaches children about friendship, love, and most important of all is how to work as a team.

On a battlefield, a single person can't do anything as he needs the support of others to win a war. That is how we won in the Fourth Ninja War.

" Haa... I wonder how the future will be. " I thought out loud. As I was preparing for dinner, Boruto came home. " I'm home," he said and came towards the kitchen where I was.

" Mom, are you making dinner? Do you need any help? " Boruto asked as he came near me, looking at what dish I was preparing. ' Hehe... when I told everyone that Boruto always helps me cooking and always makes breakfast for me.

The faces that other children's mothers have were priceless. '

" Hmmm... why don't you clean and Chop these Vegetables for me? " I said, and he started cleaning Vegetables.

After some time, Boruto looked at me and asked. " Mom, can I send my Shadow Clone to school from tomorrow? "

Hearing his question, I was taken back and looked at him and asked. " Why would you do that? "

He took a deep breath, looked at me, and said. " Mom, you know that I can't learn anything from the Ninja academy. I want to train on my own to increase my power. I will not grow if I stay in the Ninja academy.

Also, sending a Shadow clone would give me memories of what happened in the school. On top of that, I will also attend school from time to time myself. I can do this without you knowing, but I would feel bad. So can you allow me to do this? "

I looked at Boruto's confident eyes and thought. ' What he said is true. He can't learn anything from the Academy. He is not like his father and me. He is way more intelligent than us when we are his age.

" Why are you in a hurry? " I asked, as I thought he didn't understand my question. " I meant to say that why are you in a hurry, of becoming strong. It feels like you are battling against time, preparing for something, always making something or other, to make yourself stronger.

Tell me, Boruto? What are you hiding? Why are you in a hurry? "
