Alex's party had their minds blown away by the sight of so many second-level and third-level core spells, as well as seeing so many three-star treasures that they were unable to react and froze from suddenly having their minds overwhelmed.
Alex was obviously not affected by this and was still able to act.
He glanced around the place before tossing something toward Aldus and the rest. A transparent barrier formed around the four men and the power of the barrier was not weaker than the one being used by the others. of course, it could not be weaker because Alex had just made a duplicate of their equipment.
The barrier was a three-star grade equipment that was capable of stopping an advance spell but would be easily destroyed if it was hit by too many of such powerful spells.
No one was aware that Alex was the one who tossed the barrier over the four men because he was so fast that they thought that either of the four men was the one who owned it.
