Not much event occurred that evening, Emily later decided to cook their dinner herself, and she told the person in charge of cooking to take the evening off as an early break, the staff quickly accepted her order without any issue since her salary won't be affected by any means.

After dinner, Alex spent some time with his mom, while his dad was on the phone for quite a long time, probably talking with the Dean of light wings college about Ken's enrollment.

The rest of the night was peaceful as everyone was finally able to get some good rest after a long tedious day.

Right now, it was his pregnant mother's blue eyes that were staring down at his face as if she was appraising a magnificent treasure, Alex almost had a heart attack.

He jumped away from the bed and his mom's lock, breathing roughly, he tried to steady his breathing though his heart was still beating fiercely again his ribcage.

Emily laughed heartily seeing her son's priceless expression. She felt so excited and moved towards him, with the intention of playing with her cute son's face, she was planning to play with his face in different shapes.

Alex dodged her hands and jolted out of the room, he limited his speed severely so that his speed would match that of a normal human to not arouse any suspicion.

Emily Chased after him as fast as she could while screaming his name, they were soon running all over the house while disturbing the peace of the entire mansion with Emily's screams.

Everyone would turn in their direction whenever the mother and son pair came across people during their cat-and-mouse chase game, anyone they came across would only smile lightly at Alex, they knew just how much their madam doted on her handsome son, and she probably wouldn't be able to live with him for too long.

She was just too obsessed with him.

Alex was getting a real headache from this, his expression wasn't good at all, wasn't he supposed to be preparing for school by now? Moreover, the woman behind him was pregnant.

Alex was very worried about his mom's condition but the lady screaming behind him didn't seem to care about that at all and just kept chasing him.

Alex finally decided to stop after he had successfully reached every part of the mansion and was now in the living room. His dad was there and Ken was also there as well, he looked to have already finished his preparation and was ready for today's journey.

Both looked at Alex who had just arrived with mixed emotions, Henry was worried and at the same time slightly jealous, Ken, on the other hand, was shocked and perplexed when he heard Emily's screams, he wondered just what type of crime Alex might have committed to making Emily chase him all over the whole mansion like an FBI agent after a terrorist.

Emily finally caught up with Alex while gasping for air. She didn't even bother with the people around and jumped on Alex. She started playing with his face, reshaping his face with her hands as she pleased. She had a blissful expression, showing just how much she was enjoying herself.

Alex looked over to his dad for help while the latter just ignored him, turning his gaze away like he saw nothing speak less of understanding what Alex's gaze meant. Alex was shocked by his father's betrayal, he really felt like crying.

Alex didn't know the name of the car but he knew for sure that the car was damned expensive, its shining metal body that was colored black, sparking silver colored 'G' symbol on top, the car was unusually longer than normal cars.

Alex inspected the car for some time and apart from looking expensive and its unusual length, Alex didn't notice anything else special about it, he really wished he could just ride ikeris instead, but he quickly cast the thoughts out of his mind unless he was a trouble seeker.
