Back home

The familiar black car that had brought them to school the other day soon came into view from quite a distance away from them. They both watched as the car drove closer before parking neatly in front of them and the driver stepped out.

"Good day young master and his friend. I am here to take you both home" The driver gave a polite bow and greeted Alex because of his status as the heir of the yeaga family.

He walked over to the back of the car and flipped over the boot, then helped Alex and Ken to place their items in it.

The trio was soon seated in the car while the car engine roared gently.

"How is everything at home?" Alex asked out of curiosity.

The driver reacted like he was surprised. His mouth hangs open as he stares at Alex through the rear mirror for some seconds. Alex could not blame him for this because the old Alex never took the initiative to speak with anyone at all, not even his mom who doted on him; he was just too introverted.
