Liam’s Last Preparation!

"Greetings Master" They all greeted together.

Amelia nodded and asked, "Liam, how is your cultivation going?"

Liam decided to tell her the truth, he see no reason he will conceal his cultivation like those protagonists in cultivation novel, after all if your Master sees your progress, he might reward you! So why hide?!

"Not bad, you've done a good job" Amelia praised, the youngest disciple is really working hard and most of all, has the best attitude among them, or so she thought!

They talk for a bit and she decided it's time they be on their way.

"You should go and have a walk or take a look at the matches going on, now shoo" Amelia Smiled and waved her hand, her spiritual energy pushed all four disciples out.

"Sometimes she is weird" Hanna also complained but Liam is having some thoughts.

'What if the master is horny? Or she is inviting her lover for some romantic time?' Liam thought and almost smiled but managed to restrain it and keep a poker face.

Roland shook his head and stood up, Liam also did the same and stood up, even he, the youngest junior was not spared!

"So who is going for a walk?" Maya asked.

"I rather cultivated" Liam excused himself and escaped even though he is curious, winning is better than any other thing!

"Seems he is the only one that is not bored from staying in here all day" They all shrugged and headed out meanwhile Liam has other plans today.

He also plan on learning Talismans, how bad will it be if a true disciple do nothing but depend on his master for even the smallest thing?

Liam found it hard asking for things, he don't know if it is pride or something else, he just wants to do it himself!

"Aha, it's time to work" Liam smiled as he sat before a large number of thorns.

'I heard the daughter of the nightshade will be visiting... I hope we can meet' Liam thought before pushing the thought to the back of his mind, it's time to work!

He took five thorns and injected his poisons into it, the process is smooth and he took his time to inject his energy into the thorns until they took a tinge of eerie purple color, he put them down feeling satisfied and pick another five to refine.

He repeated the process, he is fully engrossed and fully absorbed in his work that he didn't notice the passage of time, he only stop when he felt weak from the energy consumption.

"Finally, five thorns in each set" Liam smiled, before him stood 20 sets of thorns with each having five in it which is a total of 100 thorns!

He also have a different type of thorn, there are about ten of it and they are about 16 inches, they are the last he refined, he has some good uses for them like 'gently poking' his opponents!

Left with nothing to do, Liam decided to visit his Master and asked for some talisman making methods which she happily gave him.

He is not interested in Alchemy or blacksmithing but instead in talismans, even though they are cheaper, they are very easy to make.

After studying the book for a while, he grabbed a brush and carefully draw the inscriptions on the piece of paper.

After a while, he compared his own Talisman with the one in the diagram and his mood turn sour!

"Why is mine so ugly?" Liam asked no one in particular, the talisman as shown in the booklet is so good but his is so ugly…
