Selling Water
After finishing speaking, Meng Zhelan waited for Zhu Lin to ask about the water price, but Zhu Lin just tilted her head slightly, staring at her silently. With none of them speaking, the two of them just silently stared at each other for a long time.
Thinking that Meng Zhelan deliberately came here to tell her the news, Zhu Lin smiled slightly at her and said, "Thank you for telling me this news, but I don't want to buy water."
Meng Zhelan smiled and said, "No problem. We live on the same floor and should help each other."
Zhu Lin looked at Meng Zhelan's smile and felt that this young woman indeed had a kind heart. She nodded and said, "It was very hot outside. You should go back to your home."
Before Meng Zhelan could speak, Zhu Lin nodded to her again, and then closed the door. Meng Zhelan stood outside the closed door, scratching her head in confusion. After a while, she felt her body temperature start to rise, so she hurried home.
