Strawberries

After the show, Eria got up and brought Lace with her backstage. She first went over to where Elric was starting to head for the back, then tagged along with him to go and congratulate Ember on her great performance.

Elric headed over to a minifridge before Ember could get off from the stage, but this time didn't mix his two throat-soothing remedies together.

Instead, he'd found a better solution.

"Elric… why are you putting honey on a strawberry?"

The young man glanced over at Eria before continuing to pour some warm honey onto the bright red fruit.

"Ehm… it's to help Ember's throat."

Eria still wanted to know why he was pouring it on a strawberry, and when Ember arrived backstage, she had a similar reaction.

Strawberries were already sweet enough, putting honey on it wasn't going to make it any better. In fact, just drinking honey water alone would've probably been better for her throat than eating the honeyed strawberry.
