Run

Sounds of fast footsteps could be heard as something ran fast between trees.

This 'animal' was being hunted by a pack of predators.

It ran as fast as it could trying to escape the certain death that was right behind him, this was Aiden.

To understand how Aiden came to this situation we're going to go back to the past.

|Aiden POV|

I had to get going fast, I was in a bad situation already, and it got more complicated. I was observing these animals fight but when one came close it began to inhale rapidly from its nose, I understood immediately what that meant I had been found by smell.

I jumped off the other side of the tree and started running as fast as my body could.

Because of my scent, I had been found easily, and it became a problem as a lot of these monsters began hunting me down, they didn't even stop after what seemed to be minutes, I was like a piece of free steak to them.

The more the pursuit lasted the more fear and despair were growing inside my head, I had to find a solution right?

as I thought that my brain began to go overdrive as my body began to produce Endorphins relieving stress and giving me a feeling of euphoria.

Since they were faster than me I had to find somewhere with a lot of obstacles or something, but then it came to me.

The flower area!

I redirected myself to where the mysterious flowers were. I had weeks of experience in relocating shit because I often lost myself in these hunting expeditions, so I had an excellent sense of direction around the place.

Here we were 10 minutes after, Aiden was still running away from his predators, the area was enormous so of course, it took time to reach his destination.

Aiden was losing more and more stamina he began sweating, hyperventilating, and panicking as they began to speed up, and he was getting slower, but closer as well.

Aiden's awareness power flared up as he dodged one of the monster's attacks by instinct, it crashed into a tree as there were a lot of them around. Just after that Aiden noticed the mist the flowers release in the distance he began running faster even though it hurt him alot but at this moment another monster of the same size as the one who tried to attack him earlier lounged at him Aiden's awareness flared up but he didn't realize because he had noticed the flowers in the distance he thought he was getting out of this mess but not without a scratch.

The monster in the air closed its sharp and large mouth on Aiden's arm, it ripped it off like butter.

Aiden's body received pain all over as he stumbled on the ground at a fast speed making bruises on his body.

He recovered fast and immediately got on his legs but when he did he realized his left arm was gone, but Aiden also noticed he was at his destination.

He looked in front of him and saw his predators coming closer but once they did they stumbled and all began falling on the ground as the effects of the drug were affecting them.

he was finally relieved he had done it he escaped. The last thoughts he had before collapsing on the flowery ground.
