Night Visit to the Girl’s Houses

Yup, I think what I have planned in my mind is quite plausible.

Let's see if he would be agree with that.

"Anoo..... Would you mind if you go to study at school with us?" I asked that to the man who have saved us.

"Hm? Sure, I would love to go to school, but I have never gone to that kind of place before. Would it be okay?" and he asked me back just like that.

"Hm? Sure, I would love to go to school, but I have never gone to that kind of place before (in this world). Would it be okay?" I answered back with another question to the blonde girl who asked if I would be okay if I go to school.

"It is okay. After all, my family quite have some power here. As long as you want to go to school, we can arrange it for you. Besides, it would be good if you can get your own certificate, even if it's just the basic education. At least, you can find any stable job with just that." She answered me while flaunting her family background with a honest smile of gratitude on her beautiful face....

And so, long story short, I got a resident and enrollment in school as simple as that.

As expected of the series that focused only on their protagonists plot, while everything else that is related to the non-main character are made as simple as flipping the back of your hand.

Wait..... Does this mean I am a side character, now?

I am not, right?

Uggghhhh, I am getting sidetracked again....

Anyway, after that, me and Chikane go to the eastern street to escort Kiseki to her house first.

Or more like a mansion with a very big courtyard.

Man...., that girl even have one or two mountain as her family house backyard.

Talk about the rich and influential ancient noble family.

It's the first time I see how powerful Himemiya family is, as Yurihana no Miko (Shrine Maidens of the Lily Flowers) didn't go to the great length on elaborating that aspect.

After staying there for a while in Himemiya Mansion to explain what happens earlier to Kiseki's parents and family elder, along with the testimony from both Kiseki and Chikane, I got so many thanks and even Kiseki's parents say that they will personally handle my enrollment to the school.

When they asked about my contact number so that I can be called upon when the enrollment process have been finished, though....

Well.... I just realize that I have forgotten to buy a smartphone or even a normal cellphone ever since I have come to this world.

Nah, it's not like I have anyone to contact at that time, though....

So I just honestly say that I didn't even have a phone since all of my saving have been used for my living expenses until now and I have just registered at the Adventurer Guild this afternoon to be an Adventurer so that I can find some jobs and quests to get some money.

Hearing that, Chikane said to Kiseki's parents that I will be living in one of her family's empty houses.

So they can just contact her about the enrollment process and then she will tell me about that.

It is already 8 pm when I and Chikane bid my farewell to the Himemiya noble family.

Chikane quickly run through the street to the west direction, opposite of Kiseki's house.

I am not sure whether she is doing intentionally or not, but her speed of walking is quite fast, unlike when we are escorting Kiseki back to her house.

Either she is in a hurry to get home since this is already almost late at night.

Or she just want to test me by quick walking with her newly awakened strength.

Not like it matter too much for me, though.

With my own strength I can follow her walking quickly without even breaking a single drop of sweat.

As we run through the street quickly like we are chasing each other, I try to break the ice since it feels a bit awkward to just silently walk together with no talking.

I asked a bit about the situation at the school that I supposedly attend and Chikane just answer me with as little words as possible.

Though I appreciate her for still replying to all of my questions with the short but clear answers.

Even though I know that she is still fuming about the prince charming kiss the sleeping beauty incident.

But she still answer all my question clearly.

What a good girl.

After 30 minutes walking (or half running), we quickly arrived at Chikane's house.

Or should I say it is another mansion that is even larger than Himemiya Family Mansion.

And while the noble family of Himemiya have one or two mountains in her family house's backyard.

Chikane's Saegusa Family have an entire real estate complex surrounding her mansion, not to mention many other apartments on the outer edge of the residential district and a lot of office buildings and industrial complex in the commercial district.

Arriving in front of the Saegusa Mansion, me and Chikane are welcomed by two rows of professional maids and butlers that are neatly arranged themselves from the front door to the center of the living room while saying "Welcome, Young Miss!" in a chorus.

What a typical stereotype of an anime rich family welcome.

Chikane walked gracefully followed by me who put a calm poker face while secretly glancing around and looked at my surrounding carefully.

I see that some of the maids and butlers who have just straightened their back after bowing while saying their greetings to their young miss have a surprised expression on their face when they see that their young lady have brought back an unknown man (that's me!) to the house.

But they professionally changed their facial expression back to have a respectful attitude toward me as the guest brought by their young miss.

I would say that those maids and butlers are all professional actors!

How can they change their expression back so quickly, even quicker than those amateur actors and actress in cheap soap opera from Garuda Country.

I look again to the front, my gaze following Chikane's movement while the corner of my eyes are looking around on the people among the maids who neatly arranged themselves on the left row and the butlers who professionally standing in line on the right side of us.

There are two people who are obviously have a higher hierarchy than the rest of the maids and butlers as they stand at the end of the line in the center of the living room while wearing clothes that have more exquisite and elegant design than the already refined clothes of the maids and butlers in this house.

I guess that's the head maid and the chief butler of the house.

While Chikane walked passed the both of them, the head maid and the chief butler bowed their head respectfully to her while saying their respective greetings to their young miss. 

While on my turn passing over them, I see that the head maid looked at my with curiosity while still being respectful.

Meanwhile the chief butler who still look so young (around late twenty or early thirty) also have a respectful stance but I can see something like jealousy in his eyes as he sees me walk so close behind Chikane.

If you don't have a big house with a large courtyard complete with two rows of maids and butlers in your house....

Then by anime standard, your family are still not categorized as a rich family.

By the way, in Kannazuki no Miko that I used as inspiration to create Yurihana no Miko, it's the head maid who is jealous with the main character's yuri - yuri relationship.
