Prologue:

Haa.. haa... haa...

A noise made by the girl at the front whose eyes staring right through me. The eyes of someone who needs help.

She is constantly screaming for me to help.

But what can I do? I saw her getting mauled by a beast with a wolf head and body of an elephant.

My body was frozen by fear and I don't know what to do.

Should I save her or... run? Nah, nah, nah. Save? who? I can't even save myself.

Then suddenly, the scream stopped. I looked again to were the girl was and then I saw the beast slowly put it's eyes on me like I'm some kind of prey.

Then my stiff legs ran at last, and the beast gave chase.

I run... and run... and run.. until I can heard only my heartbeat and the breath of the monster who's chasing me. Who's steps are getting closer... and closer. Then...

BOOM!

Cracked*

The beast got to me and ram into me. I was catapulted to a nearby tree where I heard my bones loudly cracked. I think my body is broken.

My vision is getting hazy and my eyelids is dropping.

'I'm sleepy' I thought.

Then I saw the beast slowly walking to me. It feels like this thing Is playing with his food.

All of a sudden, under my hazy senses I sense something a large wind hitting me from behind and I momentarily close my eyes. When I opened it, I saw something blocking infront of me... no, rather it's 'someone'. I pushed my eyes to looked upward then there I saw someone standing in front of me and the beast.

Then I heard him laugh... maniacally. "At last, young noble, get yourself ready. I'm gonna destroy your life! " the man said and laughing wildly while looking at me even disregarding the beast at the front. Although, my consciousness is alreadt blurry, I can still hear him clearly.

'What are you talki-...' My last thought, terrified of what's gonna happen before my vision plunge to darkness.
